The staff is so kind, non judgmental and compassionate. You never overhear them talking about anyone's case aloud and Dr. Q let's you know up front all cost before you begin anything and will only address what you want addressed at that visit. My mouth is so busted from my out of this world phobia that I needed Valium to even enter the building and sit still before the nitrous oxide could even be given. The office was spotless and all Covid precautions were taken. I put my headphone in and finally laid back for 2 extractions and stitches like it was nothing. I was given antibiotics and ibuprofen and told to sleep sitting up, which I did and had ZERO SWELLING AND ZERO PAIN...now mind you. I stayed on the ibuprofen to prevent swelling but expected some feelings of discomfort, but there was zero. Y am a week and 3 days out, the stitches will dissolve on their own and I've stopped with the ibuprofen. Do your mouth a favor, even if it's as bad as mine, Dr. Q will make you feel stupid that you were even scared. Where do these phobias originate from?? But they don't deserve one. They were so rude to our faces and hurtful. Their demeanor changed immediately. They made fun of my child and me to our faces. They instantly turned into nasty middle school mean girls. Their claim to be "caring" and a "warm, child-friendly dental clinic where kids feel safe, relaxed, and confident" is GROSS GIANT LIE. Got my children away from dozier and her band of ugly bigots asap. My children had been there for 20 years and we thought they were good people. The two women in front, and one in particular, have been rude and nasty to me the whole time. Twenty years. As an adult I went to the adult dds Mr catching, (thinking he wasn't part of Ms Dozier's judgmental right-wing crowd) and that woman in front was the rudest she had ever been to me yet and I finally asked her why. Years ago I had sincerely asked if I had offended her in any way and that I truly was sorry if I had. Her reply was to giggle and walk away. Flash forward two decades with her behavior getting worse and worse until the day she was the rudest she'd ever been. I asked point blank "why do you treat me so differently than everyone else, why do you act like you hate me?" she just giggled happily and walked away again. One of the assistants came out, immediately took me back without a word and proceeded to assault and batter my face. She pushed as hard as she could on the outside of my cheek while she slammed the needle as hard as she could into my gum. And held it there. Everything single thing she did was a brand new abusive tactic NEVER done during a routine cleaning before. She was grinning from ear to ear and her pupils were dilating as I cried out and lifted myself up from the chair from pain. Mr Catching was at the patient next to me, but he slid back on his stool when he heard me keep crying out in pain. And then he sat there and watched the whole thing. Five minutes of sick sadism. Without saying a word or trying to help me. It was terrifying having them getting off by hurting me. That crowd is sick. I have had nightmares about them. His whole crew just stood back, watched and enjoyed the show. I had a fist size bruise on my face that lasted for 30 days. THIRTY DAYS. The pictures below are from day 1. It was a swollen golf ball sized lump on the side of my face. I have pictures along the way to show how bad it was. The horrible woman in the front wouldn't let me make an appointment with catching to show the result. She kept giggling that people leave with bruises on their face all the time after a routine cleaning. After asking 4 times, I insisted on an appointment. But Mr catchings just stood back, folded his arms and looked at me like I deserved it. He did not say anything about it. He never even said " I'm sorry you had that experience". Nothing. He only walked speedily to his computer and tried to get me to make the next appointment. HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PATIENTS, ONLY THE MONEY. He is not a valid medical professional, he is not a real doctor. He is not even a good person. Neither is dozier. He told my husband that he "stands by his staff". He made it sound like I had it coming. Yes I allowed my child to be LGBTQ, and yes I stood up for my baby and myself. Boy did it cost me. THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS AND DUPLICITOUS. My stupidity for going there and thinking they would be different than the nasty LGBTQ bigots like Dr Dosier and her staff. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR CHILDREN. DO NOT TRUST CATCHINGS PERIOD. Do not go to these people if you are someone who will stand up for your child, anybody, or yourself. Those people are psychotic, deeply twisted and hire staff just like them. Dr. Brian Park has been a lifesaver! I had a botched root canal several years ago which triggered a…read moredeep fear of dentists. Unfortunately this also resulted in neglect of routine dental care which only got worse. I recently had a root canal done at another office who referred me to Dr. Park for follow up and I'm so grateful that they did. Aside from the root canal follow up, I knew I had two teeth in the back that I was convinced would need to be extracted because they had such large, deep cavities. Dr Park not only prevented them from being extracted, but was able to fill them in office and save them entirely. He is so kind and gentile, walks me through everything he's doing, and answers the firehose of questions I throw his way effortlessly. His reception staff are also outstanding and have been able to get me in for follow up appointments quickly. While I don't think I'll ever "enjoy" going to the dentist, I couldn't ask for a better experience than with Dr. Park. Can't recommend him enough!

Dr. Park was honest when I came in for a second opinion and assured me that that number of fillings was not necessary and only filled the cavities that needed them. Additionally, Dr. Park has excellent bedside manner and is very gentle when doing dental work. I was very comfortable during the fillings I did have done (didn't even feel it--and i've had many painful dental experiences as a kid) and he makes sure to keep you in the loop during the process so you're not taken by surprise by anything (during regular cleanings too). He is very transparent about things that you may need to keep a close eye on and provides helpful suggestions for what you can do to prevent issues from getting further. Overall, if you're looking for a dentist to go to in the DMV area I definitely recommend the Parks!
