Absolutely HORRIBLE! An arrogant person who shouts at small children when the parents aren't around. Our kid started shouting and seeing nightmares within two weeks of going there and it took us a while until we heard the stories of how he was treated by this ignorant teacher. read more

My younger daughter Avnoor loves this place and everything there. She talks non stop about her friends, all the toys she plays with and her favorite Miss Oyelese and what all she taught and all the activities they do. After the Covid crises she was missing her friends and class. Miss Oyelese started the online classes and Avnoor was very happy to see her friends. It helped us as family to maintain a level of normalacy and continue her learning. Eko pley school has great curriculum, I think it comes from years of experience Miss Oyelese has in academic field specially how to teach younger kids. I appreciate and Thank you Eko Pley Preschool for going above and beyond to help kids and get them more than ready for Kindergarten. Avnoor didn't have to prepare extra for the kindergarten readiness exam, she did very well. read more

Great preschool! Perfect class sizes and preschool has a huge backyard where the kids get to spend time learning outdoors as well. Love this preschool and Karen is such an amazing teacher. read more

After finding Karen's school in a google search, I was lucky enough to enroll my 2.5 (at the time) year old daughter here. Her home is in a very safe neighborhood, close to a public school. Karen is a very gentle and welcoming woman, which my daughter is very smitten with. Her school is cozy, well organized, and filled with so many educational games, books and so on. The progress my child has made in the last year of attending Eko Pley, is just mind blowing. Now we are onto year #2. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a Montessori structured pre-school, and to entrust your children in the safest of hands. read more

I offer small class sizes of ratio 6:1 so your child gets alot of one on one attention and enables me to observe and facilitate what they want to learn at their own pace. Group work and socialization are important to the child's development and self esteem, as well they may want to learn different things then their peers and have different interests and aptitudes so small class rooms let them explore and engage. The bigger preschools cannot offer this as there are too many children and too few teachers. Karen Oyelese is the founder and teacher of Eko Pley Preschool. After working many years in other private schools I decided to start my own in my home. I am passionate about early childhood education and touching the lives of young children. It gives me a profound sense of fulfillment and wonder to work with young children and see them grow physically cognitively and socially everyday. I incorporate academics and play into each day and work with the whole child spiritually emotionally and socially. We experience the arts and nature through our inside and outside environments.
