Got a Rotbier as well. Unfortunately, the spätzle arrived lukewarm, which disappointed me. Looking back, it would've been wiser to have ordered the Franconian dishes on the menu instead. Nevertheless, the beer was pretty good, the ambiance was pleasant, and prices were well-affordable. There's also a beautiful Biergarten right outside, which had a small Christmas market going on when I visited. Would like to return someday to try more of its selection. Let's hope!

Each main dish comes with house salad on the side. You can tell that this restaurant is for local family gathering. They are famous for their pork shoulder dish. We ordered their homemade soups (Horseradish creamy soup and garlic & chive soup - very creative recipe only found at this place :) also ordered spaetzle (Germany egg noodles) with deep fried onions on the top is very interesting dish (one of food must try when visiting Germany. The bratwurst was delicious: savory and flavorful. It had a slight char on the outside, and juicy inside. The roll was just as good. The crust was crisp and and inside was soft and pillowy. I especially liked eating it with sauerkraut which balances out the balance out the grease and heaviness of the bratwurst. There's also service was slow as we learned throughout our trip. It's just the norm so don't expect any quick service. Overall, we enjoyed our food very much and would love to go back to try out other items on their menu if we ever end up in Nuremberg in the future.
