Came in right before close and was served takeout and was able to eat at the patio outside. Really fun ambience and decorations. Super colorful. The food is probably a little bit expensive for the area itself and potentially for what you get, but the quality was excellent, and I really enjoyed my meal. Visiting from California. Picked this spot to grab some food to go for family who live locally, but after seeing this place, I wish we would have dined in. Awesome vibe and decor. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The place is clean and the food was so good. My burrito was awesome and the refried beans were super yummy. Got the stuffed churros for dessert and they were delicious. If we are ever in Hope again we will definitely be back! The only bummer for me is that they have Pepsi products (I'm a hard core Coke drinker) but that isn't enough to keep me from returning. Great restaurant! read more

We were traveling on Interstate 40 today and found this restaurant on Yelp. The reviews were good, so we thought we would give it a try . We didn't know what to expect to find when we wanted Mexican food in Hope, Arkansas. This place ended up being a pleasant surprise. My kids were knocked out from the creator of diamond park, the wife and I were starving. The chips were good, salsa could have been a little better. The chimichanga beef fajita was very good, the wife's taquitos platter was delicious. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, plenty of seating. The service was great, from the hostess to the server and even the management. Being Mexican ourselves and coming from Houston, Texas, we can confidently say this place is great. A defiant recommend. Ps, I don't think they serve beer or liquor, unless it's because it was a Sunday. Arkansas has some strange laws. read more

HOLY MOTHER..... This place was spectacular. We had the shrimp ceviche, which was among the best I have ever had anywhere, including Mexico. We also had another dish that had shrimp, scallops, k-rab, lots of wonderful queso, and great rice. This was a wonderful stop, and there was so much food for dinner we had it for breakfast in the morning. Ceviche for breakfast--a new experience, and one I plan to explore further! Came for lunch one afternoon. It has bright colors everywhere, over the top decor, big colorful menus, the works. I loved all that. Sat right away. I loved that the menu had pictures of a lot of the menu items. Took a minute to get the drinks and chips and salsa, but not too bad. They have my favorite kind of chip at a Mexican restaurant. It's a little buttery, salty, and shatters all at once when you crunch down on it. That is my favorite to eat with salsa! Their salsa is good. A good tomato salsa not too heavy on any one ingredient. I ordered the chimichanga with ground beef and my hubby had a combo plate with a taco and burrito combo plate. He would have liked the taco to have lettuce and tomato along with the cheese it came with, but I shared my pico and lettuce and it was just fine. My chimichanga tortilla was soft more like a burrito but it was chock full of deliciously seasoned ground beef, I didn't care. The crunchy taco was good. The beans and rice were good. We both cleaned our plates. We really liked this place and were pleasantly surprised how good the food was. Nothing was the best we'd ever had, but every item was good and that makes for a great Mexican food experience. We will be back for sure! Just wished they served cold beer. I live in San Clemente Ca. and my sister in Prescott, Az.. We both agreed this food is better than any Mexican food restaurant in our hometowns. Ate there two days in a row and were happy each time. Mexican restaurant with festive and colorful decor located conveniently at one of the main routes across Hope, AR. Came on a weekday early evening and plenty of seats were available. Service was good. Had the steak mexicano (steak on hot rock board topped with green pepper, oninons and a bit of mushroom). Portion size was generous, the steak with its side dish of rice, lettuce, guac etc is enough to serve as a whole meal. Steak ordered medium, came a bit over, and the hot rock board seared it a bit more to medium well, also the steak tasted like it came from a tough portion (maybe a cheap cut of sirloin) without much tenderizing. On the other hand, seasoning and sauce were both good, and the meat was not charred even after searing on the rock board a bit longer. The veggies went well with the sauce, and could serve as stuffing to the complementary burrito. Overall, not the best Mexican food I've had, but can't argue with the price of around $25 (tips included) for such a generous meal. read more

Four and a half years later, we had the same things and with the same results. My cheese sauce-soaked combo was still monotonous but this time only lukewarm. And the fish tacos, while being beautifully presented were bland-tasting. Only the pickled corn relish was better than fair, and it was outstanding. It's a beautifully decorated place. Driving through from Indiana to Texas and service, food and decor was all 5 star. I highly recommend!

I was taken aback from the over the top, tasteful decorations that cover this clean establishment. Welcoming environment and staff. The queso was highly exceptional and the chips had an amazing texture to them. No greasiness on the chips. An array of complimentary dips were provided to us. The fajitas were a nice big portion. Stopped in while traveling, the front desk at our hotel recommended it to us. We were pleasantly surprised! From the decor to the service everything was wonderful. The pricing on the food was good for the portions and quality. We are a family that rather eats at a mom and pop type place than a chain restaurant. So good! It's cold outside and I wanted soup. Their chicken soup is so close to me fave "Caldo Tlalpeno" made with a rich broth, lots of chicken breast and uniquely flavored with chipotles. Avocado is added to the top along with white rice. Just yum. read more

Food was delicious. We had chicken fajitas, cheese enchiladas, soft tacos (maybe fish?) and I had....wait for it...a ribeye with a baked potato. I was pleasantly surprised at the steak and potato. Very good! Actually my potato was not cooked all the through but it was so big I had plenty to eat from it. I didn't. Want to make a big fuss, everybody loves their food. The kids didn't like their chicken nuggets but that's okay, their picky kids. I forced the older one to eat them left over the next day. Our waiter was great. Didn't get his name but he had dark, short hair, a black mask and I could tell he had a dark beard. Anyway it goes, I need some chicken and shrimp and rice and veggies (here recently they've been a little scorched though). We always start off with a large queso , which is awesome. (Once I had a to go order and ordered the small. Too expensive for the cup size) Then we order the rancheros. I always order tortillas with mine, because I like to fix my meal up (uncharge of 99 cents for THREE tortillas- once I had a to go order and they put two in there and I was forced to eat my meal with chips. Blaaahhhh). Service is good. That's my go to place with my friend. We will always be ranchero fans !!! read more

Stopped in for later lunch Sunday. LOTS of menu choices to pick so many there were many things I wanted to try. My wife had chicken chicken salad while I ordered the seafood quesidilla. Chicken a little over grilled. The seafood quesidilla had shrimp, scallops and crab. Actually, it was imitation crab. I was disappointed. Just tell me its initiation. We arrived around 1:45.
