One of the better taco trucks in this area of the metro. They cook with flavor, everything authentic Mexican. They know how to use oil right, so expect some grease, but not too much. Meats all well seasoned, mostly tender. Asada was excellent, though it was the only one with a few tough pieces. Al pastor cut into perfect little strips, and full of flavor. Carnitas tender and juicy, and pan-seared for a touch of greasy goodness.
Sign says $1.50 but they haven't updated it yet, price is $2 each. Their salsas are nothing special but the red goes well on the tacos.
Service is fast and friendly. They give you a buzzer so you can sit in your car. They have a few picnic tables that are semi-shaded in the evening. It's kind of interesting spot watching the traffic exit the freeway ramp. And parking is ample on this empty farside of the gas station parking lot.
It's definitely worth a stop. read more
