Second time visiting! Just as great service and food! Service was prompt, attentive and great throughout the night! It's kinda set right off the Main Street (but not noisy) nice decor and amazing seafood! Give it a try

Tried something new today.. Drove by this place few times and finally decided to give it a try. The restaurant was very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly.. Ordered guacamole and it was very fresh and yummy. If you like ceviche try this place. Ordered 3 diff kinds of ceviches and they were all good. Shrimp flauta was very yummy... Cheese enchiladas was OK not the best. Service was outstanding. One of the best service I've had in Rocky Point. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely come back to this place and try some other dishes... And the price was very good.

This place was ok. Was kinda confused as to why our service wasn't great like everybody else's. Walked in and they were pretty slow. We were seated right away and our orders were taken. We ordered a salmon dish, a soup, aguachiles, flautas, and a ceviche. My salmon was ok. Nothing special. It needed flavor and the salsa with the sauce on the side was nothing great. The soup had noooo flavor and not our favorite. The flautas were good but really really small. I kid you not they were like the size of my thumb... The service was ok. We had like 6 different workers tend our table of 4. We waited like 30 minutes for our check. Everyone else who arrived after us, got their checks and had already left. We ended up having to pay upfront since they seemed to forget about our table.. Prices are reasonable but this place wasn't it. Two stars because the inside was clean and its decorated cute.

I want this place to succeed. Their menu is ambitious and creative. The service is friendly and professional. The interior is welcoming and the diver theme is everywhere. Upstairs, they are installing a new bar. Unfortunately, the few dishes we ordered were not spectacular. Let's start with the fried squid. I like fresh strips of squid, lightly battered and fried just like this but the sauces were very plain and the squid pieces were under-seasoned. A creative take would be a special salt, a spicy batter or an addictive sauce. Something; I squeezed a bit of lemon and added my own salt. I was curious about the special appetizer of the day, Aguachile Pork Belly. I have never heard of anything like this but I'm no expert of Mexican cuisine. To me, aguachile is shrimp flash marinated in lime juice, cucumbers, onions and spices. This experiment by El Buzo was strips of pork belly, barely cooked, sitting in a thin sauce dotted with a spicy thin sauce, with cucumber and onions on top. If the pork belly was smoked or rendered completely, it would be good. I can't recommend this but I respect the concept. The Flounder Marenguetengo was pieces of flounder topped with caramelized onions, mild chiles and mozzarella. Unfortunately, the fish was way overcooked and probably frozen. Not a good look for a seafood place near the ocean. The preparation with the cheese and vegetables was bland. We also ordered Camarones Ajillo which was perfectly cooked shrimp in a spicy garlic oil. We enjoyed it. Both plates came with delicious arroz blanco. The rice was perfectly cooked and fluffy with more flavor than the fish even though all you can see is rice. More rice please! Also, the side salad was addictive. It had a sweet vinaigrette with lots of julienne carrot and a powder of possibly peanut and parmesan giving it a nutty richness. When I come back, I'm going to order a fresh piece of fish, broiled, on top of that salad with a side of rice. The menu at El Buzo is large with many options. Others at my table enjoyed the arrachera they split, so meat is always a good choice here too. But I want this place to thrive in making seafood in creative ways that enhance the seafood with interesting new flavors.

When in RP, craving some fresh and tasty seafood in a nice, cool environment where locals eat? This is it. Right next to the railroad tracks. Their Micheladas are served in a jarrito as opposed to a glass mug and were superb. I had the Red Ink Octopus which is a must, the fried tuna tacos is also a must and last but not least, the fresh scallops, shrimp and tuna platter was fresh and tasty. Check in and get a 10% off your bill!

We were told about this place by a local and were so excited to try it. It was on the higher end price wise for Rocky Point but had a great meal with appetizers, all of us enjoyed a drink, 4 meals and dessert and our bill was under $120. I was so impressed with how knowledgeable the server was. He explained all the flavors and he went over all the different ingredients to us. I was most impressed with how the restaurant handled my daughter's sever shellfish allergy and they fry everything separately here and the ceviche is made to order so she was able to enjoy a tuna only ceviche! The bar tender also made me a custom rum drink, I told him just not too sweet. They made me a cactus, cucumber, cardamom, sweetened run blended drink that was amazing! They actually have a bar above the rest I with a room to rent for parties and events. The restaurant has a play area for kids and a TV for the littles to be entertained while the parents and family enjoy their meal. What a great concept! The food was incredible!! We had a pork belly aquachile and each ceviche had spicy different flavors! They even had salmon with Jamaica sauce and we will be back to try that one! Another Rocky Point gem.

EXCELLENT! Don't hesitate, just go! The food was fresh, tasty and served by a very friendly and sweet gentleman (Marcos). I would order every single dish that we had again- everything was that good! Casual atmosphere and family friendly. Yn lop

El Rey drink made with Mescal, cucumber, and lime, and the Mango frozen mixed drink for my wife- both very good!

We love this place! Amazing ceviche, drinks, and the kids meals are tasty as well (el Buzo bucket is always worth it!)

This place is great. The ambiance is friendly and modern. They have menus in English and picture menus of the food as well. I got the Crab Enchiladas. They were very mild, slightly sweet, and it complemented the crab well. The person I was with ordered the fish a la Diablo and it was fantastic. Very well seasoned and full of flavor. I would recommend this place over places on the malecón. The food was great and the prices were too.

We were the only ones in the restaurant when we went. The young girl who took care of us was great! She was friendly & super sweet. Hubby got a Michelada & added a shot of Tito's since there was no alcohol in the tomato juice part of the drink. He said it was really good. My sangria was good. It's made with pineapple juice. We ordered the chips & salsa. We also ordered the guacamole. The chips & salsa were good. I was happy there was no heat in the salsa since I am a huge whimp when it comes to spicy food. The guacamole was really good after we added some salt & lime juice. I normally don't eat guacamole, but I liked it too. We went "out of our box" & tried the whole fried fish. We split it. We asked her to add rice & beans if it didn't come with it. It was huge. The fish was fried perfectly! Hubby loved it. I liked it too. It was moist. The rice was good. The refried beans were excellent! I don't know what they do, but the texture & flavor was the best we have ever had. I loved them. We will definitely make this place are go to when we come down again. Please note tips are cash only in case you don't carry cash!

The restaurant was very clean and updated. The staff were very attentive and friendly. It wasn't crowded when we got there but quickly filled up, so get there a little earlier than dinner time. Now to the food, I had the Diablo shrimp and was so, so good! If you like spicy this is definitely spicy so be ready for it, the waiter warned me haha- but I will definitely get it again. It also comes with rice and a small salad. Mom had the whole fried fish and it came with French fries and coleslaw. She loved the fish ( I did try it and would get it again). Lastly, my sister got the grouper seasoned in a brown butter sauce ( I can't remember the name of the sauce just know brown butter). It was just okay. She said she'd try it another way but not with that particular seasoning. We also had fresh margaritas which were very good.

Once the chips and salsa came, I ordered the fish of a platter with a side of salad and fries, the food was good. The homemade salsa was more like watered down ketchup with a hint of chili. It took a good 20 minutes to get the chips and salsa and another 25 minutes for the food to come out. The waiter never came to check on us. Just an older waiter that came to drop off the bill. Ambiance was not good. It felt more like a bar ambiance than a restaurant. The music was blaring. This could appease to someone wanting to go drink more than to go eat a tasty seafood meal.

They don't accept credit cards and when paying cash they exchange rate 15 pesos for 1 US dollar which is lower than everywhere else. I am recommending you exchange the money before you go.
