Adriana and Carlos took us on their speed boat to show us a piece of land that they bought on the delta of the Rio de la Plata, not too far from San Isidro. By mid-day we were famished and they headed to a restaurant that they know (in the middle of nowhere), but it was closed. You can imagine our disappointment. Suddenly El Camoati appeared in our sights.
You can tie your boat to their dock, but there is only space for 4 or 5 boats. Alternatively, you can tie up on the opposite bank and a tender will come and take you to the restaurant. The fact that a restaurant exists our there is really amazing and welcome.

(In Spanish, of course.) So I was a happy camper. I also ordered a side of chorizo. Unequivocally, it was the best chorizo that I've had in 13 years of visiting Argentina. Hands down.
Ambiance: 5 stars (yes, folding chairs, but we're in the middle of nowhere)
Service: 5 stars
Food: 4.5 stars (I trimmed 0.5 of a point because my eggs were well done, rather than over medium, as I ordered. A minor point. read more
