I found out that, after the fact, quite a bit of the stuff I bought wasn't very fresh. Threw away two out of four cheeses because they were pretty far gone. They were so bad that I did not feel it was worth holding onto it to bring back to the store for a refund, just wanted to be rid of it. I take responsibility that I should've checked better, but it's poor business practice for the store to be carrying inventory that isn't safe for patrons. Hope to see this improved on.

RECOMMENDATION With the "right" expectations, this is an excellent store. If you're only looking for something from a Western European county, you may be a little disappointed. If you're looking for food from Eastern Europe countries, I'm sure you will be happy here. If I'm not mistaken, they also sell fresh bread. Though a tad on the pricey side, I indulged on one piece of Turkish Delight with pistachios on the outside and pomegranate and caramel inside. The restaurant I decided to pick it up from was sold out so I had to make a last minute pivot to Mediterranean Specialty Foods in the hopes that they still had some before they closed (I had 12 minutes till close!)
