The restaurant and bar was about a 30 minute drive from the family cabin on the East Shore of Spirit Lake (Orleans) and with a lot less traffic that any fine dining choice almost as far on West Lake Okoboji. Our only regret was that we opted not to go downstairs to the Speakeasy after dinner, where live music was in full swing. The only irritation (if that) was a fairly loud bride and friends dinner a couple tables over. But I quibble as Gayle and I thoroughly enjoyed our romantic evening together within our cozy booth. Here's what we ordered: - Bombay Sapphire Martini (Up/Olives) and then a Malbec (Gayle). - Mocktail (Cranberry Pom Spritz) and then a Sauvignon Blanc (Eric) - Filet Beef Tenderloin with Asparagus and Caesar Salad (Gayle) - Canadian Walleye with Caesar Salad and Wild Rice Pilaf. - Coffee (Eric) and a shared piece of Champagne Cake (See Picture).
