I went in & the stylist and I had a great conversation about what I was looking for. The cut was really beautiful but she said the color would take more time than what we'd booked. She said she'd confer with the owner for any additional suggestions for processing my hair, and I scheduled the following week for color services. I returned for the color a week before Christmas. We spoke again to confirm my objective: I wanted ash blonde highlights in my naturally grey hair. Easy Peasy, right? No. The color process went awry, and after she tried to tone the color down with an all-over color, I left with a full head of solid strawberry blonde hair. Yes, I paid $250 for a 3 hour, total hair transformation...which was great if I were in witness protection. On Christmas Eve, my grandchildren cried because they didn't recognize me, and our dinner was unusually quiet. I never went back to the salon, and in spite of the stylists' advising my stylist on remedial options, I never heard from the salon again. The End

It flustered her that we arrived 10 minutes early, even though we had zero expectations of being taken back prior to our appointment time. When a cheerful, simple request of having the shy one sit near a family member, it was met with "I'm not rearranging my chairs, I'll send 2 of you back even though you're early." And guess what, the "2" didn't include the tween and the owner was annoyed when we had the shy one go with the adult being taken back anyway instead of her being left up front up. Make it make sense. The rest of our group was seated later and apart with zero friendliness or offers of refreshments as is customary at Dry Bar. Now you may be thinking we must have been high maintenance or off putting some how, nope. We legit are the most chill, open and appreciative group who treat others with respect. Again, our stylists were great. So much so, it broke our hearts to hear the owner tell a staff member she couldn't grab a water for herself real fast. Who does that? Also heard owner disparaging another customer with some mean girl energy. All this to say, congratulations on taking what Dry Bar does to market the "experience" and turn your location into a day at a mall SuperCuts.

Unfortunately, the color could not be corrected without causing further damage, and 6.5 inches of my daughter's hair had to be cut off. I contacted the manager about the situation, and ultimately I ended up spending $700 total to have my daughter's hair corrected. I was incredibly disappointed that we not only had to spend that much money to fix the original service, but my daughter also lost 6.5 inches of her hair because the color could not be fixed. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I expected the salon to acknowledge the problem and take responsibility for the outcome. Instead, I was left feeling like the orange color was considered acceptable when it clearly was not what we wanted. I would not recommend this place to anyone based on our experience.
