This place was mediocre at best. Food was okay. Not the upscale cuisine I expected. Lots of hype for a middle of the road experience.

If I could give six stars I would. This is one of the best places that I have ever eaten at. Been to Paris, France, and Barcelona, Spain, and "El Farallón " is every bit as good and at a much better price. My wife and I had drinks (wine), appetizer, and main coarse, at just at $50, U.S. We returned that evening for wine a cocktail, and a mouthwatering desert. I was born and spend my childhood in Los Mochis; then, I moved to L.A, Ca at 17. El Farallón was and always will be the BEST sea food restaurant in town. This restaurant is pricey compared to others. We would always recommended the variety of sea food there. The last time I ate here impressed me beyond like always. the only catch is the price; but, it is expected that the best is costly. So yes, 100%. this is a stop for the best food in town and I am willing to bet the whole North West of Mexico by the Sea of Cortez. read more

A friend recommended this restaurant and it was really good. People kept telling me that I needed to have seafood while in Los Mochis and I do not think I could have had a better experience. The crab meat which I ordered as an appetizer was excellent. I ordered the octopus taquitos for my main course and clearly it was very fresh-tasted awesome! The service was also very good. Just returned from a cruise that started in Los Mochas. Before arriving I checked Yelp for a good restaurant, El Farallón was highly rated so I gave it a try. It was absolutely delicious. The service and food were outstanding. Definitely recommend! read more

Great seafood! Extensive menu-- everything our large party of 16 people ordered was fresh and tasted wonderful! Octopus tacos were amazing, raw seafood was great, they even had sushi which 3 people ordered and were happy with the rolls, I tried 2 different kinds but don't remember their names. Service was attentive and fast, we came for lunch around 1:30 pm, so it was not crowded yet. They have full bar. We opted for tequila, beers, mixed drinks and soft drinks. Only few tried dessert and it was superb. Overall very happy that locals recommended this restaurant. read more
