This is not your typical mall. Most stores in the main mall are mom & pop stores with a few brand names ones like Victoria Secret and Bath&Body works. They have this cool Rex Center game place we were attempting to take our son but it was closed for maintenance that day which was a bummer. It had video games, Go Karts, miniature golf and/or rock climbing. There is also another section, like mini mall within the mall that was very interesting and cozy to the Hispanic Culture. That section reminds me of walking down a tiny hispanic town in Downtown Los Angeles or Ensenada, Mexico. It has a lot of tiny little individual stall stores selling a lot of hispanic culture type clothing, souvenirs etc. Next to this section is the food court that also consists of hispanic culture foods and stalls. So if you want to get some authentic Mexican food, this is the place. I will say, i tried the Sabor Y Mexico n the poor lady by herself with a other super slow helper left her very scattered. Many people chose her place instead of other food stalls so i gave it a try. It took almost 25min to wait for my Champurrado which was not hot and was over boiled or microwaved as it left a lot of milk film floating all over my drink. So i was bummed especially after waiting so long for it. This mall is obviously not too busy as its very specific & a specialized mall catered to hispanic culture for most part but a must visit to check out the cool stuff & try the food court.

    Some of thwe goods.

I was headed for the food court in the El Mercado store at the Boulevard Mall. After some looking, I followed the signs which clearly mark the food court and I was there. It has been many, many years since I've been in the Boulevard Mall. I had read about a restaurant in the food court and I had to try it. El Mercado is on the north side of the mall with the entrance adjacent to Regal Cinemas. Think of El Mercado as being an upscale flea market. There are all kinds of mostly Latin clothes, jewelry, crafts, along with other stores. I walked around and saw many of the booths but I don't need any more home décor nor children's clothes. El Mercado would be a great place for the shopper looking for the kind of goods on display.

I tripped over this place but I can't wait to go back! It's somewhere between a flea market and a bougie suburban mall-- but with an ethnic twist. It's inconveniently located behind the food court of the boulevard mall... go out the back food court door and to the right if you are already in the mall. The shops all look cute, but the big draw for me was the food court. Offering everything from vegan Mexican cuisine to meaty things dipped in meat juices, every stall has real appeal. This is a destination.

As empty and deserted as it feels inside The Boulevard shopping mall these days, there's still one spot totally worth checking out, especially for tourists. The El Mercado marketplace is my favorite around here. It brings Hispanic culture and has its own food court with Mexican foods within the shopping experience. They always provide good customer service to buyers. You can find affordable and cheap goods here, as well as other fashions boutiques and gift shops. I like this place because it's very vibrant and colorful. It feels like a touristic escape from the rest of Las Vegas. Foods are delicious here. Public restrooms are inside the food court area too. Well established and well organized section of the entire shopping mall area. They have lots of retail spaces available for rent/lease inside. Existing stores are still operating. Definitely take photos here if you like. It's Instagram friendly, but the senior Hispanic folks might give you a weird look or facial expression at times. Feels like a very good indoor flea market, but with better quality products here. I absolutely love the setting and will plan on revisiting. El Mercado is underrated as it looks and feels much better inside when you're actually in the moment there. I love this unique section of the shopping mall. Highly recommended for tourists. People are welcoming and friendly. El Mercado is for you if you like international shopping vibes with a unique global twist of culture inside.

We came here by chance to visit a restaurant in their food court. The plaza was beautifully decorated and had so many merchants. The food court was delicious. We got food from two places. I wish we had time to explore it all. Will be a stop on my next Vegas trip. Plenty of parking too.

El Mercado is a wonderful addition to Las Vegas. I love how they finally brought life to this mall. They are located inside the Boulevard Mall on Maryland and Twain. Soft opening was on October 1st, 2020. Open daily from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. It's a cultural marketplace filled with all kinds of Latin shops for fashion, clothing, beauty products, amazing jewelry, artworks and crafts, party supplies, catering service, and home decor. One of their greatest attraction is the Mercado food court which recently opened in early December. The food court is located at the very back of El Mercado. This is where I found 702 Churros next to Lizzy's Cuban Cafe and Sabor A Mexico. There is also snacks and refreshments offered at Neveria Las Palmas and ice cream at Crépe Express. Other eateries include Mariscos Los Cabos, Dandino's Arepas Café, Cajun Mexican, and Casa Tlaquepaque Restaurant Bar. Table seatings at the food court are few and spaced further apart to make it safe to dine in. On weekends, they offer live music performances from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The staff here are welcoming and friendly. It's a nice family-owned community. Now that the Mercado shops and food court are open, that gives me all the right reason to come back and try more!

I had no idea about the existence of this mall!! It's great! Plenty of parking, security was offering help finding what you are looking for, very clean wine great variety of stores

This is a neat Mexican Shopping Area located inside the Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway. There are numerous local vendors inside that sell everything from Mexican outfits, prom dresses, quinceannera finds, shoes, perfumes, along with some eateries in the area. I myself found this place while I was shopping for some Cinco De Mayo traditional outfits earlier this month. The part of the mall is decorated in Mexican pinatas and décor. I actually felt like I was walking through some little shops back in Mexico. Bravo to the team that brought back some life to the dull mall and for giving some of our local businesses an opportunity to thrive. Nothing is better walking through the market, buying some Nice Mexico finds with a Spicy Elote in your hand :)

Great use of space inside the Boulevard Mall. Very spacious and lots of small niche Mexican businesses inside. Directly east of the main entrance. There is also a back entrance by the parking structure.

Good deal with Torta and fries!

The Boulevard Mall finally got updated with the much needed El Mercado. It does feel like an indoor swap meet but latino style! Love the fact that the shops still have that mom and pop feel. And yes everybody is following current safety measures, everybody is wearing mask and respecting the 6 ft rule. Most staff are bilingual but knowing some Spanish is still a plus. The food court is a major add on and they have some of the best latino food Vegas has to offer! I never had Mulitas before and now am a fan! Good economical combo meal Torta with fries to the side. Omg Elotes so good. Tropical fruit stand store drinks really good! Guys this is the place to be!

We made a visit on the 1st day and arrived right when they opened at 11:30 AM. Parking is available but it is in a lot with other businesses. However, it was busy at the time. I was lucky to grab one of the last few spots. It was even busier by noon. There are seating both inside and a little patio on the side of the store. We sat inside because it was hot that day and they were blasting the A/C. Restroom is available but will need a key. We took a look at the menu beforehand so I ordered right away. It only took a few minutes for it to be ready. There is a little water station available near their counter. Despite having a lot of sweet options, we came here for the savory options. The spicy tuna salad avocado and avocado egg salad croffles were our orders. The tuna one was honestly not that spicy but definitely hits the savory craving. The egg one leans on the sweeter side. Both of these were really good and were a good balance of flavor profiles together. Highly recommend both! Sweet Mong is easily a store I'd come back to try other dishes.

It was good but it was burnt. I was not a fan of it and I love butter mochi. I enjoyed the fish bread with red bean. It was delicious. :) Overall, great and clean spot. Stop by and give them a visit.

We ordered the Mango & Coconut with Sago, and wow... it was really good. Not overly sweet, which I appreciate because it lets the natural mango flavor shine. I honestly didn't want to share and ended up sipping it slowly just to make it last longer. One of those desserts you wish had unlimited refills. The mango pancake is an absolute must-order. The soft crepe wrapped around that light cream filling was perfectly balanced -- refreshing, creamy, and dangerously easy to finish in minutes. Service stood out too. The staff was friendly, patient, and helpful when explaining menu options, which is always appreciated if it's your first visit. Bonus points for packaging -- everything came in a really nice hot-and-cold reusable bag that felt thoughtful and premium. Now...the only real downside: parking. The plaza can get crowded fast, so expect to circle a bit or plan ahead during peak hours. Overall, Hui Lau Shan delivers fresh, mango-forward desserts that feel lighter, modern, and incredibly satisfying. Come for the mango drinks, stay for the pancakes -- and maybe allow a few extra minutes to hunt for parking.

My favorite drink is the Iced Butterfly Latte, a delicious banana-flavored latte that's both unique and refreshing. I've also ordered the Berry Ricotta Brioche several times, and it's always amazing. The menu offers a great variety of pastries, sandwiches, desserts, and specialty drinks, so there's something for everyone. Pro tip: Find a table before ordering! Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.
