Not on the menu, but made by request veggie fajitas

Love our town's Mexican restaurant. We try and go twice a month or so, and are never disappointed. I will eat the monthly special or something off the menu, and Andrea gets her special order meatless veggie fajitas. Make sure to get a cup of Charro beans too!

Fajitas and zucchini. More than I cauldron eat.

This was a sweet little find. From the outside it looks a little rough but the food and service were amazing. The menu includes low carb, vegetarian and even a teacher special. Fajitas were amazing in flavor and tenderness! The cook even came out to talk to us and confirm our order. lt s now called Molcajete instead of Los Vertes.

Finally, I find good homemade tortillas around here! I only wish they were open for dinner.

Over in the area for a country drive, did a quick Yelp check for a good Tex-Mex place for lunch…read more More than one review mentioned "locals like it", and we were sold. Plenty of parking, right off the main road, and more room inside than it appears. Waitress was on the job, excellent friendly service, was right there to take drink orders, and checked up on us throughout the meal. They were actually standing there waiting for us to sit with the chips and salsa. Definitely had the look of a local favorite, we were there after the lunch rush, I'm sure it's packed on weekend nights. All the food came out really fast, but was all fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. The menu had tons of variety, will take multiple visits to work through. That Texas staple, sweet tea, was especially good, had a lot of flavour served in large glasses. Would almost be worth stopping in during the summer just for some of the tea! Really nice space for a meal, and very friendly service!

Four kinds of salsa The verde and Diablo are fantastic but wait, if you mix them they are close to perfection! Such nice sweet waitstaff. They indulged my Spanish and so move to my daughter! Over two days, We tried hamburger, queso, chips and salsas, migas were heavenly, beef fajita plate, chicken tacos Refried beans were excellent They serve cold beer too Ambiance was acceptable Simple decor with nothing crazy Tables Booths A drive through Very busy place so the locals are e enjoying the place I highly recommend you stop in this joint, eat some food and ask for the verde and Diablo sauce!!

Some of the servers are a little clueless or too new to run their own tables. The server whose nickname is "T" is the best server in the whole joint meaning that it'll be hard to get her. The margaritas (mine were on the rocks) made to perfection. Finally a place that has "Hot" salsa. Great taste, great amount of heat. Only miss with all of this are the chips. My personal preference is for a thinner chip. Some like the thicker ones and try this place regardless of my chip preferences. I ordered the Steak Fajitas with Corn tortillas. Great portion size. The sides were portioned to complete the meal. I did ask for sour cream since the menu did not say it came with it. Well it did and the waitress did not let me know that and so I got charged for an extra sour cream. Not a big fan of refried beans, however that was what they had. They tasted good and I believe if you are a refried beans type, they would be considered great! The restaurant itself is modern meets industrial vibe. Cozy but not tiny. The staff could be a little more attentive or at least more personable. All in all, I would eat here anytime I am visiting the area and wanting Mexican.
