They stamp you so that way you can come and go freely. (Smoking outside only) If you get a ticket in advance a lot of times the tickets will allow for free entry before a certain time. Just make sure to get stamped if you're waiting for friends just head in get stamped and then leave so that way you don't have to wind up paying. I will say the drinks are pricey, however. I got four shots and it came out to about 60 bucks total. I also got a shot from the woman walking around with the tubes. Normally those are flavored, here it was not and it was $10. So I wanna say a shot itself averages between 10 and 15. The music varied. I will say that. There's two different rooms so we did not have access to one of the rooms but that room had cars with blasting speakers playing solo Reggaeton music. I think it was Spanish night in general because most of the music played in the main area was Hispanic as well. Though I will say there were a couple random oldies as well as Soca music thrown in. The main dance floor is uncovered pool and it makes me wonder if the place used to be a swimming area or if that's just part of the aesthetic. Overall, it was a good time. I'd like to come on a night in which it's not themed to potentially and maybe cheaper drinks would be better. If you want hookah, it's like 60 bucks too, and I know some that might not seem too expensive, but as someone who lives in Brooklyn. If it cost more than I would do in Manhattan, in a place like jersey, to me it's like wow.

Huge venue. No longer has a pool in the middle!…read more Ladies free before 11. Street parking or $20 parking in lots in the area. Friendly staff. Drinks not cheap but not overly priced either. They do offer hookah if you are into that and tables are reasonably priced. Went on a Saturday night and it was far from packed but the DJs were pretty good. Would love to see this place packed out.

It was easy to find parking nearby on the street, we walked in and were immediately sat down. Service was great throughout the meal. The server did speak primarily to us in Creole. I can see how that may not work for someone who is not Haitian. Maybe having someone who did speak a mix. However, he was very nice and the food came out fast and was delish. Shared a griot fritay to start and it was definitely tasty and portion was good. For entree I had the legume with Beef with black rice. Tasty, spicy, and very authentic tasting. I can say they stay true to the flavors and don't water them down. The drink was ehh. I did not taste much liquor in the creole punch. Not worth it in my opinion. In terms of ambiance, I wish better music was playing. The set up was cool. Nothing amazing. If I was in the area again, I would come back.

I was able to order a cocktail (mangotini) made just the way I liked it and it was super delicious. My companions ordered food which took some time come out. We only really ordered appetizers and everyone enjoyed their food. This place is not big so not too many tables. I will mention one thing I stated to the bartender....The bar chairs are INCREDIBLY uncomfortable. These seats were not made to fit full size adult derrière. Good vibe.
