Lots & lots of vendors selling fruits, vegetables (a myriad of some that you may not see in regular supermarkets), cooked/prepared foods, salsas, honey, nuts, baked goods. Come check out all my 20+ photos- I tried my best to capture almost every single one of the vendors here at this farmers market. There is plenty of street parking available and then there's free parking by Blossom Market Hall, except when there is a showing at the playhouse or an event, then it's going to be close to impossible snatching a space to park your bucket of bolts. The vendors & staff are friendly & accommodating. Free samples are usually given out. It's a fun way to spend a Saturday morning, for a solo outing or family outing. Check out the information booth for a chance to win a raffle $100! You earn 1 ticket per vendor you buy from & an extra ticket for bringing your reusable bag. It's fairly large & organized, prices are competitive. You may walk around to get the best deal per pound from different vendors. Torrance fmr mkt is my favorite one but this one is close by. At around 10:37-ish, a lot more people started trickling in. Still not too shabby. The market is a little smaller than Alhambra's farmer's market, but they are still new. I'm sure there will be more vendors eventually. Some of the vendors I've seen are tea, fruit & veggie stands, fish catch of the day, hummus, and assorted baked goods. I decided to try the tamale stand, which sold tamales at $5 per piece. My favorite has to be the cheese and chili tamale. The masa was also very good. The beef tamale had a bit of a kick and was also delicious. Free parking is available in the public parking lot or street parking.

I didn't try his, only the guy from ingle wood. I also went to the Mediterranean place from Monrovia. 10.00 for a salad, not bad I tried all the combo meat lamb chicken. The shaved ice will be the hit during the summer months. I saw a place that sold grilled whole squid which I thought was interesting. I wouldn't buy it myself personally but I mentioned it to my coworker and she told me she loves it that way. She pays 8.00 and is only 6.00 at the farmers market. As for the jackfruit it's already prepped and ready to eat which is amazing because preparing jackfruit HURTS its like a giant durian. The jackfruit has a nice sweetness that is unlike any other fruit in my opinion. Being Vietnamese American it means a lot to support businesses like these because it reminds me of my own parents. We took the Metro - A Line over to the South Pasadena Station and we could immediately smell the delicious barbecue and hear the live music from the market nearby. Follow your senses! I think taking the Metro would be easier than finding parking since it was really busy. We were both surprised about how large this farmers' market was with many food vendors, artisan goods, and of course fresh fruits and vegetable taking up multiple streets. Definitely the type of place you want to go to enjoy some snacks here, and then take some produce and goods home. One of the first things I saw were oysters but we were patient and decided to walk through the whole market first to see what our options are. After walking through the whole event, we came back for the oysters, and also got some roasted corn and a nutella crepe. Yum! Also we both felt like the prices with the vendors here were all very fair and reasonable. As my boyfriend puts it, you can get some of your favorite fair snacks without being price gauged. Also, there is a free museum in the area about the history of Pasadena that is open late on Thursdays to align with the farmers' market. Overall I felt like this is one of the biggest farmer markets I've been to with a wide variety of snacks, vendors, goods, and entertainment. There's a guacamole and chips stand, Old Town bread, a couple of vegetable stands two or three juice stands, a yogurt lady, some Middle East dips and spreads, Honey stand etc. There is a Filipino pastry lady and she sold right out. And an ice coffee stand using almond and oat milk.

The business owner, George, said it was his fourth week at this farmer's market. If you enjoy tofu, definitely give it a try! I also picked up different types of hummus and pita bread. I got basil hummus, chipotle hummus, avocado hummus, and spicy pepper hummus. I also had a taco de birria. The taco had a generous amount of birria but unfortunately lacked flavor. The market used to be located in Civic Center Plaza, but it has moved to Rosemead Park (right next to the basketball courts). [Parking]: To my surprise, it was not easy to find a spot to park. Rosemead Park is a popular spot for local residents to come and exercise, so I had to park at the lot for Encinita Elementary School. [Amenities]: No dogs allowed in food court. No skateboard, no bike, no scooters, no hover boards, and no roller skates. There are plenty of restrooms in Rosemead Park, but park restrooms aren't exactly super clean. [Vendors]: I spotted jerky, tamales, michelaguas, Hong Kong waffle, Hawaiian shaved ice, two fruit/vegetable vendors, aguas fresca, kettle corn, and miscellaneous accessory stands. Honestly this is one of the smallest and emptiest farmers markets I have visited. The market was pretty dead when I got here at 8 PM and you can hardly call this a farmers market with just two fruit/vegetable vendors.
