So as i was getting my fruits i see the employee (female ) handing multiple bags to all the guests. Especially to those who were given fucken 4 bags for small apples. However, me i was caring a big as watermelon and apples and more than others. As i payed the lady only gave me one small as bag for apples, peaches, watermelon and grapes. I asked "can i have one more bag plz, because i don't want my grapes to squish so put them separately." And her response was " we don't have anymore bags," and the other seller (guy) said " it won't squish," while the bitch gives me a shitty face. Shitty face and watching the bags hanging right behind her. And i told them that "is that how you treats a customer, and worse a first time customer." And guess what mother fuckers my grapes did squish like i told you it would. And we pay for our groceries stupid. Never coming back here again. Customer service is always key to any business. As for the food vendors... I haven tried too many other than the tamale guy. He sells them for 3-50 and 6 for 17.00. Needless to say I had to buy the value. It made a good lunch the next day. The masa is decent and the tamale is larger than the average. I liked the pork one. I tried beef and pork. It had softer mass which means more lard. It it was good. It is not like the place I go to in ela or El Monte but good for the convenience. I have gone twice here and last night there was another new tamale guy. I didn't try his, only the guy from ingle wood. I also went to the Mediterranean place from Monrovia. 10.00 for a salad, not bad I tried all the combo meat lamb chicken. The shaved ice will be the hit during the summer months. I saw a place that sold grilled whole squid which I thought was interesting. I wouldn't buy it myself personally but I mentioned it to my coworker and she told me she loves it that way. She pays 8.00 and is only 6.00 at the farmers market. They definitely have a variety of vendors and attractions for kids. Come out and support the farmers market if you have time. It is nice to have something in the city.

This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

Located on Peck Road in El Monte, this place does not look like it would sell fresh poultry, but it does! Alright, I am sharing the secret this place. If you like getting fresh chicken for soups or just to cook, this is the place to get it. Not sure if they slaughter in house, but they have lots of chickens and ducks. Plus they also have the black silky chickens for those who make chicken soup with them. They sell other items like small groceries, but they are a bit more expensive to get them here since they don't have a huge inventory. They are mainly dedicated to selling poultry. They sell chickens for about $14.50 each and some by the pound. If you are lucky some times you can get 2 chickens for $23 dollars, these are the imperfect chickens, that could be missing a wing or damage to during slaughter, so far of the ones I've bought, they were fine. Cash only, unless you buy over $20, then you can use a credit card. It's a hold in the wall place for fresh chicken; very clean and great staff!

A good variety of vendors from all over Northern and Southern California. They were all super friendly and nice. You may find fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts, juices, organic goods, non-food items, and so much more. Some vendors offer free samples so you can taste before you buy. I found some of the best oranges I have ever eaten from here. I've only been here once.
