I felt like he was in a rush and racing for time. There was no one in the lobby waiting area. That, in itself, should have been a huge red flag. The entire experience was terrible and a waste of time. Fortunately, I did find a wonderful Cardiologist elsewhere.

By the time I walked out of my first visit, I had no doubt this was the man I wanted doing my implant. One thing I noticed that really made an impression on me was the way he charted out his path when drawing me a picture to help me see the issues, and work to be performed. It was a little thing, but I saw it as an insight to the way he visualizes his work. As he drew the picture (upside down, as it was facing me), he would plot a small point where he wanted to finish every time he drew a line, no matter how small or meaningful that line was in his explanation. As I watched, and listened - it was like I could see what he was seeing as he placed the three wires for my implant carefully, and precisely on my heart. His passion for his profession, patients, staff, location, and ensuring that no patient is confused about what is going on is unrivaled. I asked him if I could adopt him as my GP also, but he declined saying 'he made a choice between being very good at a lot of things, or great at one thing' .... Since 2007 I have had bypass surgery, A-Fib, and congestive heart failure. Dr Dobrin has been with me through it all and I credit him with giving me a good life. Although I will never be "cured" this side of heaven, I am able to enjoy a relatively active and enjoyable life. I probably should have been pushing up daisies by now but Dr Dobrin refuses to let that happen. He is more than my cardiologist- he is my friend and I thank God for him.

I had a scheduled appointment for 9:30 am and waited 50 minutes to get my vitals done and then I…read morewas escorted to a consultation room. After waiting for another hour there was no sign of the doctor. I proceeded to speak to the receptionist to see what was going on. The receptionist asked that I keep waiting because Dr. Lyn had become busy with another patient who got ill. I advised it was unacceptable to have someone wait for two hours for the doctor. She asked that I please wait a few more minutes. After now waiting in the waiting room for a few more minutes like she asked, there was still no doctor. I left. If a patient became ill, why wouldn't they reschedule me after knowing the Doctor would be busy for more than an hour? Right? I am certain this was only an excuse. Horrible customer service and I have informed my insurer of the incident and plan never to return.
