Hmmmm... tacos! My wife and I had a long day in Chapultepec Park and El Pesacadito and some cerveza hit the spot. Their fish tacos are very good. Fried right in front of you. I also had a shrimp quesadilla which I could eat every day. They have a few locations, including in Condessa and Juarez.

Food was fine. Had tacos de camarones and tacos de campechano. Service was great, and portions were HUGE. Had a slight mix up on our order but they fixed it right away.

Worst taco place we tried in CDMX. Ordered the Fish Taco & Shrimp Taco, they didn't refry it. So we were eating these fried taco cold. What's wrong with them. It was disgusting and the tortilla was also cold... Would have been better if they actually fry them again.

Whenever I'm in CDMX, I make it a point to stop by and have one of their marlin tacos. Why? Coz these tacos are not easy to find back in the States. Plus, they're tasty and cheap. No complaints on the service. The place was clean and easy to find.

I enjoyed this place. I got a shrimp/fish combo taco which is sort of regular on its own, but you can turn something very plain looking into a masterpiece using their extensive topping bar. You can add sauces, salsas, cabbage, pickled toppings, etc. They have an English menu if you need one and they also have friendly staff helping with the ordering and the menu and seating etc. Lots of open air seating and a very casual vibe. It was a nice switch up from all the meat tacos from the trip. I just had one taco since I had 4 tacos at another place across the street. The fish and shrimp was being hand dipped right there on the spot.

Well, I had really high expectations for this spot, but Ieft severely disappointed. Pros: Large corner restaurant, plenty of seating, organized, friendly, clean. Cons: Ordered the fish taco and shrimp taco. Unfortunately, both weren't fried fresh. The pieces were already fried and actually sitting on the rim of this large fryer (as with many other pieces). I'm guessing this is how they're able to deal with large crowds and are able to expedite the food. But in doing so, they've seriously compromised their food. So what I got was just soggy, oil-soaked pieces of shrimp and fish. Both were just tepid, especially the fish. Just lacked serious flavor. Not sure what kind of fish, but it was super lean and dense - almost like canned tuna. Zero crunch at all, and I could barely taste the crema. Just a really disappointing experience, unfortunately. Checked all the boxes, except the one that says the food was good.

Absolutely incredible tacos. Quick, friendly service. Delicious menu. Old school vibes. Tacos de Atun - 5/5 Tacos de Camaron - 5/5 The Atun tacos are phenomenal. Super flavorful and juicy. The Camaron are crispy and juicy. The entire menu looks amazing. Service is quick. Definitely an old school restaurant. Need to go back to try everything. The salsa and fixings bar is a great touch.

I read the reviews and thought people were too harsh, but they're right. This place is just meh. Not bad, not good. The dressing bar is fun. But what you end up with are these massive tacos that are still just fundamentally kinda lifeless and dull. Good service and good value, so I wouldn't say don't go...but just don't expect to be wowed in a city with such good food.

One of my favorite taco spots that we got try in condesa! I wanted to go here after seeing Mark Wiens try this place and I'm so happy we were able to make it. Then tacos are big, I only got one and was full. I got the tacos with a fried fish and chile rellano in it. They have a salsa/toppings bar, paired it with a corona, and chefs kiss! You order at the register and then they bring you your food, definitely has a Mexico taco place vibe, which I loved.

First meal in CDMX and it did not disappointment. We ended up ordering the que sotote, which is fried shrimp with a cheesy pepper (?jalapeno). It was so tasty, not to mention the large array of toppings, salsas, and sauces alike. I saw both locals and other travellers there!

Wow just wow. Hands down THE BEST SHRIMP tacos in all of CDMX. Also probably in the top 5 shrimp tacos I have ever had which is a ton. Located on the corner, it was east to find. They have indoor/outdoor seating and it is very spacious. What I loved is when you get in line, you order with the cook who serve you the tacos right then and there. Then you can hit up the salsa bar if you'd like for amazing toppings on the tacos. They serve soda, juice, water, and beer. A restroom is on site for customers. Tacos were so flavorful. We had the batters fish and shrimp and the batter was so good! Perfectly crispy and flavorful. The quality from the tortilla, to the protein, to the veggies was a 10/10. Considering your paying $48 pesos per taco, you really can't beat that price ANYWHERE. If you find yourself looking for a great seafood taco, please consider them. You will not regret this choice. Next time I'm in CDMX, this will be on of my first stops. Cant wait to come back

Totally lives up to the hype! The shrimp tacos are some of the best I've ever had. You get to watch them making them - the folks frying all the shrimp and fish are impressively efficient. Ordering was a fast process. They have beer and some other bottled beverages. Their salsa bar has lots of options for toppings. Prices are dirt cheap.

Got the fish and shrimp tacos. I will say, I took them to go and ate them at home so a little flavor is lost when you do that. That said, I just thought they were a little meh in flavor even with the salsas, pickled onions, and lime. The service and vibes were on point in here even if I wouldn't come back for the food.

We then kicked things off with the arancini, which set the tone right away--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly done. For mains, we shared a spread and honestly couldn't pick a favorite: the Octopus Tacos were tender and packed with flavor, the Rabbit Tacos were unique and delicious, and the roasted seasonal vegetables "al mojo de ajo" were simple but so satisfying. The marinated pan-fried salmon and fresh trout were both beautifully cooked and thoughtfully seasoned. Every dish felt intentional, beautifully presented and well executed. But the real showstoppers were the desserts. The fresh goat cheesecake with orange, grapefruit, and lemon was bright and perfectly balanced, and the whisky chocolate crème brûlée was rich, smooth, and unforgettable. Desserts truly knocked it out of the park. Bonus points for the cocktails--my hubby was a huge fan. Great food, great drinks, excellent service and relaxed ambiance made for a wonderful overall experience. Highly recommend adding Temporal to your Mexico City dining list.

What really says it all? We loved it so much, we went back the very next day. This was the only restaurant we repeated during our week-long stay, which should tell you everything. The menu is extensive and thoughtfully curated--fresh, flavorful, and something for everyone. We tried the croissant sandwich, salmon deli nut sandwich, chutney mango deli sandwich, santos ahogados, fig chipotle deli sandwich, pear honey deli sandwich, and the spicy tuna deli sandwich. The sandwiches came with a standard simple salad. Every single item was delicious, well-balanced, and satisfying in that "clean but filling" way. The tables had two delicious spicy chili oil like condiments which elevated each of these dishes. And the juices--WOW. So refreshing, vibrant, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. The perfect complement to the food and ideal for starting (or resetting) your day. If you're visiting Mexico City, Ojo de Agua is an absolute must.
