What an hidden dimond…read more The place are modern, with wood at theme, light and cozy. It opened newly decoreated 1st October 2015 so its not worn. Even without cushings on hard wood the chairs where nice. This very modern and I felt at home as a modern nordic european. This not super fancy but really nice. Five stars, 25 pst value. Service was done by a modern young man. Cool glasses, cool beard, cool way of beeing, open and friendly, wow nice. His english was not to good. And the price fir the set menu that was written on the chalk board of 39 was pronounsed 29 allso after a double chech. Confusion started in my head. It did not get any better when soup became soap. Food came perfectly timed, it was hot and dishes got taken away. With bad english and a ton of modern charm I have to end this at four. 25pst value. And now the BIG supprise, wow what a food at what a price. They had a six course meal with homade bread, smal welcome dish, 2x entrance, 1x fish, 1 x meat, 2 x dessert for 39 EURO! And this where nothing you would do at home unless you are stolen Michelin chef from the surrounding best ranked Michelin restaurant. Let me walk you trough the dinner: first a basked of four different breads with a pest, tomato pesto, oil, salt and butter. I ate half mmm nice. Then he came with a local chees crocette, hevy but balanced. First entrance a tunafish tartar blended in sweet an sour out a balikum sorbet, an explosion of good tasted. Talking about making a good first impression. Game was on Second entrace, that was too big and heavy, was creamed potato soup with poaced egg on a bed og basilikum oil and bacon crumble. Wow another time. My wife was full here, and i where concerned. Fish was local Sea bass? prepared with a safran sauce and a spoon of very good potato purre. This was good. Mead was duck cooced to perfection, sliced on top of a bed of sauted but still crisp vegetables. First dessert was cookie, chockate cake, chockate crumbles, choclate musse. That was very heavy cust choclate lovers like it. I went with mouse. A touch of contrau or wiskey might make it even better. Second dessert was a resberries and steawberries in chunks as a bes with the same in a sorbet. Overall food for Michelin star resturant and a Bib Gourmad. Food are beond yelp rating as a six, truly creative an vibrant. 50 pst What about value 2 x 39 + wine + cuba libre, coffe included, water included under 99 euro are superb. They actually just charged 30 for my wife. Walking home i where so full and happy. I had some bad thoughts about not tipping but he told me 29 for the menu and charged 39. Total: Interior (5 x 0,25)=1,25, Service (4 x 0,25)=1 with charm, Food (6 x 0,5) = 3 = 5,25 and over full score.

So glad this was our first food stop in the Canary Islands--absolutely wonderful experience. We…read moreordered all of the Canaria's Specialities (#9-14) and a bottle of house wine. Only thing we would skip next time is the garlic bread, and only because there was a lot of bread on the table with the other items we ordered. Missed taking pictures of a couple of the items we ordered. Service was very friendly and quick, not that you want to leave quickly with the water and beach view. We will definitely be back to try out some of their other dishes before we leave Mogán--that Apple strudel sounded and looked amazing!

In terms of food, I need to recommend the canarian cheese with jamon. This was a fantastic appetizer to start our meal. I had the fillet steak, cooked rare. Good news: it was actually cooked rare! I got it with sauteed potatoes. My wife got an excellent piece of fish. The whole experience was very nice. We came with our two year old, and they had a high chair for him. The staff was very friendly with our son. The owner is German, and it looks like this place typically caters to a German clientele. Nothing wrong with that! Just felt funny to realize that after a few days in Spanish Gran Canaria, all of a sudden we were surround by German speakers. Great spot. Great location. Reasonable prices. Very good food. Enjoy!

Wonderful food. Modern take on Spanish and Canarian . Good portion size, and so delicious! We came…read morehere on the recommendation of a local who said it was one of their favourite Restaurants that had local Canarian food done excellently. We loved it so much ! We spent a week on the island and tried a bunch of different places (that weren't on yelp or that we forgot to take pic of and create a business for) and while there were many good places , this was by far the BEST PLACE we ate at and with the most reasonable prices for what the level of gourmet cooking that it is! It says $$$ on the yelp page for it but it's really only $$. 10-17€ for mains which included vegetables most often or potatoes. The appetisers were 4-7€ also very delicious and the desserts were 4-6€ . For the area which is touristy these were average prices for a dinner or lunch but once again the food here was so much better!!! I got the same fish both times the sea bream ... A whole fish seasoned wonderfully with course salt and lemon ! Super moist and fresh and amazing !! with some veg and potatoes . Both times they were out of the paella but I'm sure it would be amazing there !!! Our whole party loved their food! -Steak with gorazola sauce , -Catalan local fish, -turbot fish in a clam sauce (with full clams) -my wonderful sea bream! Appetisers were great steak - veggis and goat cheese ! -Lovely desserts but so stuffed could have done without. -Great local wine !
