I was nervous for this service, but we had an amazing first couple of appointments. Nothing major, just routine. I felt like he really understood me and things were great. However, when I actually needed him for fmla paperwork recently he was of little to no help and contributed greatly to my stress. Through ZocDoc you have a line of communication to your doctor I've literally sent him short messages on a daily basis to get on the status of paperwork and get zero response. Since he does not respond I literally have to book a session every time. This results in a co-pay and full charge or appointment every single time. He always has an excuse to not fill out the paperwork during that video session and the says you guys will "follow up" then he never does. I could really go on and on, but all in all 10/10 DO NOT recommend. Get a real, in person doctor.

PT barely worked with him in the hospital. Then they sent him home. He can't ambulate by himself or feed himself, bathe, dress, or do any normal adls independently. I requested inpatient rehab where he would get 3 hours of therapy daily including OT and PT and both places were denied so here I am and RN trying to care for my dad while caring for my own family and working. It's so sad that the insurance benefits are so bad that this is where we are. I even had to purchase a bedside command, wheelchair, but they got him a walker fantastic he can't even walk with it independently.

I was unable to gain access, even though I had previously registered in the system. There was nothing in the initial message or follow-up messages that indicated service would be denied if I did not fill out the electronic forms. I went to the office on the scheduled day and was told that I needed to go online fill out the registration forms. The receptionist sent me a new link, which never worked. I asked for paper forms, and she told me they were no longer using paper forms. The office manager informed me that it was a company decision, that it did not make sense to her, but that she could not let me see the doctor if I did not fill out the electronic forms. They did not have any tablets on hand for people whose devices would not connect to their network. We walked out of the office without seeing a doctor because my device would not access their server. There is no world in which that makes sense, especially in a professional healthcare network where the patient's care should always take priority. Dr. Kuo is a great doctor, it is difficult for me to believe he knows about this type of screening. My issue is with the medical group.
