I live in New York, and I had been looking forward to enjoying authentic Mexican chile rellenos at such a renowned restaurant. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. The colonial courtyard creates a magical atmosphere, and the service was excellent from the moment we arrived. I also have to mention that the drinks were delicious and beautifully prepared. Unfortunately, the chile rellenos didn't meet our expectations. My mom and I both ordered them, and we agreed that they were served quite cold and didn't taste fresh. The staff kindly offered to replace our meals, which we truly appreciated, but I decided not to. Instead, I ended up eating some of my daughter's meal since I knew she wouldn't finish it. Thankfully, the rest of my family had a wonderful dining experience. My dad, my husband, and my daughter all loved their meals and were very happy with what they ordered. We finished the evening with desserts, coffee, and hot chocolate, and everything was absolutely delicious. Overall, Azul Histórico offers a stunning setting and outstanding service.
