Where do I even begin, First off if you are looking for a Caring Chiropractor who KNOWS What he is doing and gets straight to the Point DR. SAMMY PYON Is it!!! One day out of nowhere I attempted to get out of bed and I had a severe lower back pain... throughout the day itself and days ahead the pain got worst. I was not able to bend down, getting up after sitting down & Getting out of bed was Horrible and even sleeping itself was bad, I was not able to switch sleeping sides like before. I figured it was a pain that would go away within a few days; I took so many over the counter pills for the pain & I tried all different creams..even Bengay & NOTHING WORK. I got to the point where I was not able to walk or hold myself up... Not even a cane helped at times & I am only 30yrs old. After ONE WHOLE MONTH.. I finally decided it was time to go see a doctor. But ofcourse if I went to a regular clinic I figured they would just subscribe me Pain killers and  cream of some sort.  So I did my research and ofcourse I came across a few Chiropractors but None got my Attention like "El Segundo Family Chiropractor with Dr. Sammy Pyon".. It had about less then 10 reviews and 5 Stars.. However, the reviews I read seem sincere and when I went to the Main Webpage and read this "The adjustment is like turning the power back on from a blown fuse" it spoke to me, because that is Exactly what I Felt was needed. Long story short, I booked an appointment online (Super easy B.t.w), I went into the office and Dajah at the front desk Immediately makes you feel Welcome. I then Met with Dr. Pyon, who nonetheless makes you feel secure, comfortable and at Home. After my 1st visit I noticed a small difference, I was able to bend forward a bit more BUT by the Third adjustment I really feel like "WHAT PAIN" I am back to myself again & without any meds it is all!!! & Every time I see Dr. Pyon I let him know how Grateful I am to have found him :) ... I am so mad at the fact that I took a whole damn month to finally see a Chiropractor but I am Thankful that I came across a Great One! Do not hesitate and make an Appointment Now!!! When I first came to see Sammy Pyon, I was have such an excruciating pain from my neck all the way down my right arm and had no idea what it was and why it was happening. I love Dr. Sammy and his wife Audrey's joint practice! He focuses on the physical healing of the body while she spiritually addresses any emotional complications. They claim they get the best results from clients who see them both as many physical ailments are connected to the non-physical occurings in our lives. While I do think this is certainly a sales pitch, I believe the theory. I had a Groupon for a chiropractic evaluation, alignment, and 1 hour massage. Dr. Sammy is super knowledgable about the musculoskeletal system and he's very philosophical, right in line with the other half of his business. He would state a fact and then point to a quote on his wall. I think the highlight for me was Sue, the massage therapist. She has awesome hands! She also really fit into their holistic vision of body healing as she practiced a lot of reflexology. I'm giving this place 5 stars because I had a Groupon and didn't have to pay anything out of pocket but after I expressed interest in coming back and inquired about the insurances they accept, they informed me of their very bizarre policy on paying them full price and sending the bill to insurance later for reimbursment. I can say that because I've been with them since the practice opened. I love these people, I'm not kidding when I say that they truly are wonderful caring people. Years ago, I was having so many reoccurring problems with my back and shoulders. At one point, it was so bad, I could not turn my head, it was literally locked up and I was in so much pain. I went to see a doctor, was told take some muscle relaxers and rest, it'll pass, that it was just a muscle spasm - it didn't. I recently started seeing Dr. Sammy and am thrilled with the results I have been seeing! I sit at a desk working on computers for 8 -10 hours a day and frequently experience back and neck pain even though I exercise and stretch regularly. After two weeks of seeing Dr. Sammy I am no longer experiencing back and neck pain.
