So many times by so many people I was told to see a chiropractor. Sometimes massages and painkillers can only do so much, might be good to try something else. I saw an ad on FB: $37 for consultation and adjustment. I felt that was a good deal, so I decided to finally heed them people's advise. They sent text and email messages to complete forms prior to the appointment - highly recommending this to save you tons of time. I arrived a few minutes earlier and was immediately given a questionnaire. I was met with a medical assistant a few minutes later and followed by Dr. Cole Carson not too long after that. He was very thorough about the exam and explaining my symptoms and how we can treat it. He took me at their treatment area after the exam. He posted me at a mechanical back massager while he attended to another. No complaints here, that was pretty relaxing. He then took me to another table to get adjusted, and oh boy: that was a lot of cracks! My neck and my back was relieved almost immediately. But he did explain I might feel a little bit of soreness for a few minutes because there's a bit more blood flow in places where it was minimal before. I guess you can say this place popped my chiropractic adjustment cherry. Hehe... I felt light when I left. I felt soooo relaxed, I slept early that night. FYI: I was told regular price is $60/sesh. Maizie is an amazingly great Physical Therapist at Goodlife Physical Medicine, El Segundo, CA. After having a bicycle accident with a car that sent me to intensive care plus eight days in the hospital, she has revived my body and spirit! Maizie is very knowledgeable about body muscles and bone structure. She gave me and demonstrated to me exercises that were designed to solve my specific problems. Along with strengthening my hurting muscles, she also maintained harmony in the rest of my body by strengthening my adjacent muscles. And the exercises were done in all body directions so to tone up my entire body. I could feel myself improving with each therapy session. Furthermore, Maizie gave me directions in a calm and concise manner with an optimistic and encouraging voice. She talked with me like a winning coach that expected their team to win the next game. This made my experience at Goodlife Physical Medicine very uplifting and beneficial. Better yet, Maizie gave me an extra bonus in that I am back to riding my new bike (my previous bike was destroyed in the accident) and the exercises she gave me have improved my bike riding. Unfortunately this physical therapy facility (all locations) has changed and faltered dramatically since I received treatment for a back injury following a car crash 5 years ago. I received TWO OutOfNetwork authorizations for Goodlife; A. Chiropractor B. Physical Therapist The receptionist was late for my 9:00 am appointment. I arrived 20 mins early to deal with any paperwork. None was available and only one staffer was on site. At 9:10 am when the receptionist finally opened the computer I was handed an 18 page form to complete before my 9 am appointment. I finally saw the chiropractor at 9:48 am and I was due for my next appointment with my dentist. I had to leave without treatment. When I saw An, the physical therapist the following week, she was preoccupied with computer work and barely acknowledged my presence. I had to call her back each time I completed a set of exercises. When I completed the cycle on a rolling machine table she didn't know I was finished and I left without any comment from An. After inquiring I learned that A was the ONLY remaining physical therapist across 3 site. I canceled all my next appointments. My recommendation: FIND ANOTHER AGENCY! Daniel R. read more

I'm impressed. I discovered this place through Groupon. I had some ongoing knee pain from squatting incorrectly. I had a consult and they did x-rays. The doctor adjusted me and it felt so good. I slept like a baby that night. I wasn't able to come back for a follow up visit until two months later but they still honored it which was really nice. A different doctor went over my x-rays and I found out that my right hip is higher than my left hip? That explains my balance issues. And my knees looked fine which was a relief but apparently my bones are larger. So I could have some knee pain later in life. Then i got adjusted again. I am such a crunchy person since you can hear the loud cracks! afterwords, I got a massage from a friendly guy named Leo and it was one of the most needed massages of my life. They also gave me a treatment plan and recommended that I come twice a week for several months. unfortunately, my HMO insurance does not cover this as they take PPO. But I will probably try to use my health savings account to pay for sessions. I know that chiropractic care is a little controversial, but I feel like it really helped me. I felt so good after every adjustment and slept so well that following night. This totally changed my perception of Chiropractors. read more

So this is a review of the reception area and possibly management and not the specific doctor. I had an appointment confirmed at 12:05pm and walked into the offices about 12:18pm. The reception was not accomodating and basically told me that I would have to comeback another time. My father being a doctor, and my expericences with some of the world's top hospitals such as UCLA and Cedars Sinai, I have never had a situation that was not accomodating and unsympathetic to my situation. There was a lady over the phone who had a typical valley girl voice, honestly didn't pay attention to anything I said and didn't know what services they offered, when I asked for Alma she got upset and really didn't listen to me and kept asking for my birthday... like I'm going to give you my personal information... Then todays experience with "LADY" I would never come back to this place nor would I recommend this place, not even someone I hated so much to come here and deal with Lady, rude and unprofessional. I was talking to Alma and she was starting at her screen and talking to me, she wasn't helping anyone but sure butt in with the conversation with Alma... them canceling my appointment without informing me would have been fine, but how are you going to tell me you left a voicemail when I was showing you my like I never got a voicemail and yet you couldn't tell me the number you called from... no one in the right of mind would answer a call from an unknown phone number, that's why we have voicemails... but she was just rude and really didn't want to be there, I honestly don't even know why she was talking to me when I clearly went tk Alma... She was honestly rude and when I was done with my chiro appointment I swear she was rolling her eyes at me and had the fakest smile when talking to me... if I didn't have such a great experience with Alma and Rosie I wouldn't ever come back tk this place nor would I recommend this place, honestly I wouldn't recommend anyone even someone I hated if they had to deal with lady and valley girl.., I hope manager contacts me because I was so annoyed from the front office experience that I didn't enjoy or even know what was going on with my chiro appointment cause I was just so disgusted with my experience with Lady... But I gave them two stars, one for Alma who was the sweetest thing! She even remembered my name by the second visit! Very professional and just amazing, made me feel so comfortable even when I was late to my first appointment cause wazed took me across the street, by the way use google maps instead when getting directions here... and the second star to Rosie! She was amazing!!! When I said she was amazing just mean she was great, very professional and understanding, I told her I hated getting shots and she really got me to calm down and didn't feel a thing, I normally bleed a little when getting a shot and she was effortlessly great! No bruising or a drop of blood, I didn't even feel a pinch. If I could come here for every shot I needed I would just for her. I was sad she wasn't there today but hopefully she will be next week since they didn't have anyone till then they said.. The other two I'd avoid like the plunge. I really need to speak to the manager the next time I come back for my next appointment... I recommend combing here for b12 shots and just make sure you ask for Rosie and when you make your appointment ask for Alma, she was on the right side when you enter for the front desk... If you hear valley girl and see lady RUN!!! Or wait for Alma like I would Chiro experience was ok, I was too disgusted with the front experience that I wasn't feeling it over all... hoping Alma and Rosie will be there on my next experience so I can get that customer service experience that everyone should get. This place is incredible. I have been doing PT on my wrist with Sanim for a little over a month now and he helped me get to the root of the overall problem (my lack of mobility from my shoulders). Not only did he work with me on helping heal my wrist from a TFCC injury, but he also helped work on my shoulder mobility. He also kept me very engaged each session with some great conversation which always helps. I needed to speed things up in order to play in a golf tournament and Dr Dave scheduled me with Dr Cory who gave me a cortisone shot. It was my first time so he explained everything in detail which made me very comfortable with the experience. My wrist is now feeling almost 100% and I had no issues on the course. Leslie is the best Physical Therapist I had in past 25 years. Leslie not only worked on my neck but shoulders & arms. It's all related. I also put my works and did daily homework. I am very grateful that my neck is so much loose. Even now I have completed the Physical Therapy, I'll keep doing daily home works. Prior to see Leslie, I had a severe stiff neck most of the time and very painful & uncomfortable of daily living. I bought the package which if there was an option for a 2 year package I would've taken it (I'm still going to come here)! Since I've been coming here for close to 6 months now, it's like a routine. It was every week, then every two weeks and I just don't feel complete without seeing Dr. Shane/Dr. Isaac, the ladies in the front, or Rosie. I've seen a HUGE improvement on my overall health and just feeling much better. Today, I went in to treat myself to a birthday massage, adjustment and B12 shot. I wanted to give a huge shout out to the masseuses that work there. Although I rarely see them, I wanted to let them know I really appreciate them as well. Today, I had the lovely Rina (sorry if I misspelled), she's tiny but mighty! She got to work on my shoulders and I feel so much better already (also, big shout out to Dr. Shane, he worked on them as well). I rarely get a massage but there isn't anywhere else I would go than here, plus they educate me on the different muscle groups, what to do to help alleviate any pain, etc. What I LOVE about this place is that they're not pushy. They don't try to upsell you, or make you feel like you're just a transaction. I honestly love coming here, it's like one of the highlights of my week! The Dr.'s really care about you,same with Rosie and the staff members. I've noticed a huge improvement with my fitness as well. I can run faster and easier, I have less pain and to go back from my original review....I haven't had that pinching lower back pain since! I had an appointment for an intake/adjustment today and was really impressed the moment I walked in the door. My first impression was "Wow- this office is clean and really big." The woman at the desk checked me in for my appointment and had me fill out my paperwork on the computer. She was friendly, professional, and very patient even when a man came in and asked if he needed a mask. She gave him a mask because he did not have one. The intake coordinator Nicki (sp?) went over my recent injuries to be sure they understood what exactly was hurting. She was professional, personable, and kind. Next, they did x-rays and had me lay on a rolling table for 7 minutes. It was like 7 minutes in heaven. After that, they had me sit on this chair where you can lean back to stretch your neck - which also felt heavenly. Finally, the chiropractor gave me an adjustment which felt incredible. I have a much greater range of motion after only one session. The chiropractor was also professional, down to earth, and really listened to what I was saying. This place has been wonderful for me! First I'll start with Dr. Lance. He took his time to go over my x-rays and even my CT scan as I have very delicate spinal issues. Since I started seeing Dr. Lance 2 months ago, I no longer have spasms going from the middle of my back to my neck. He has also has been able me stretch my lower back and that's with me having had a successful L-S1 spinal fusion with instrumentation. Vera - my miracle worker/clinical masseuse! She has helped me so much too! She has reawaken nerves and muscles that have stiffen up over the years. From my scar tissues from surgeries, sports injuries, and who knows what else I've heard of a kid, Vera has truly helped me overall!! Lastly, certainly not least, Clarissa in the front has been the super helpful for scheduling my appointments! She has so much patience when I'm having a bad day, or needing to reschedule. Don't waste your time! My appointment was at 10 and I showed up at 9:55 and was asked to sit down and wait to fill out paperwork The front desk lady that was just sitting there the whole time came and had me sit at a computer at about 1035 I filled out the info took me about 5 min. Then went back and sat in the waiting area. I was brought to a room and continued to wait there until about 1052 when the chiropractor came between talking with him and the adjustment he was walking me out of the room by 1056 I spent more time on the electric massage table then with the chiropractor I was actually paying to see. This place clearly does not care about their patients all they care about is you making a repeat appointment. I would highly recommend going somewhere else especially in a city that is just swarmed with good chiropractic practices. Ok okkkkkkk. I originally went to GPM because I had an issue with my leg after working out. The first thing that won my attention was the polite young woman on the phone when I called. She appeared genuine, kind and very sincere. So i scheduled.... space was big and clean. Dr. Isaac Scott was the bomb !!! Super thorough and my body released cracks that I never thought I had. I've been going to the Good Life in Redondo for over a year decided to try this location since it is slightly more convenient. The office is in a small officepark with a large parking lot. It is very right and i love all the windows. The treatment area has a glass garage door that they keep open. The chiropractor that treated me was great.
