Decided to come back to eat at this taco truck. I had tried it before and I remember It was really good, but not only did the price go up ( which is understandable due to inflation) The tacos are small and the amount of meat inside the torta, gordita, and the quesadilla are very minimum, especially for the price. The tacos and gordita were really greasy. They did pack a good amount of salsa. The service was great I called in the order and it was ready in 10 minutes. The tacos was pretty good. I don't think they are made to order. I think the meat had been sitting awhile as some of the pieces of meet were kind of hard. Don't be a cheap ass. They are food trucks for a reason, they have limited space and ingredients and have to make the most out of what they have. I ordered the lunch combo which is 3 tacos, 2 sides and a soda. I paid $11 overall which was pretty good for what I ordered. The tacos were doable but they're not bad. They're not greasy which is a plus and had lots of toppings in it. I've tried their tacos and torta, both are good but definitely prefer the tacos. Tacos are not greasy and have a lot of filling. Try the tacos de chicharron, tripa, and pastor. You can call ahead to order (and I would) because if there are big orders before yours, you'll be waiting for a while. I need to verify hours next time I go. Had to give this place a shot after reading all the Yelp reviews. Great tacos, $1.50 for flour, $1 for corn. Simple tacos, your choice of meat (and there's a lot), onions and cilantro. I love their green sauce. Tangy, definitely some lime in there, and nice and spicy. Their red sauce left something to be desired. It wasn't particularly spicy, nor did it really knock me off of my feet, it really felt like something was missing. That being said, I definitely will be back. Their tacos are great, the meat is delicious, and who can argue about the expense. Let alone how fast they finished my order, I parked ordered and was out of there in less than 5 minutes. My favorites are the Fajita and the Barbacoa. My husband really liked the Pastor and the Tripas. They also have tortas, burritos, mexican burgers, charro beans, and quesadillas. The place is pretty good. Not the best, but a flavorful, well priced taco truck. My main suggestion is over order because the tacos are TINY. Like can fit in the palm of my hand tiny. If they sealed the top they could be pot stickers tiny. So... you may want to load up with 4+ if you are slightly hungry. If you don't believe me look at one of the photos above... you can see the width of the lime is half the width of a taco in the photo. That's a bad thing. Stopped in to check out this place as I've never seen it previously. Seems to be a new place. It's a very clean trailer with a seating area available. Ordered a variety of the $1 Tacos, but they have a decent menu with the usual fair. First I had the Pastor on Corn, and it was well seasoned and cooked well done. Next I had the Barbacoa on Corn, and it was also well done and not dripping with grease. Last I had the Fajita Beef on Flour, which had good flavor but the Flour Tortilla was a bit hard and well cooked itself. Portions were generous for the price and satisfying. In my experience, Yelp is most accurate when it comes to super highly rated places (four-and-a-half stars and up) and cellar dwellers like this truck. It's those places between three and four-and-a-half when my experience varies considerably. Senor Taco is yet another example of where the extremes get it right. No, the food didn't make me sick, but that's the closest I can get to praise for this truck. Lesson learned: always check Yelp. As others have said, the food is incredibly bland. Not like "well, that could have used a bit more seasoning" bland but more like straight-up tasteless. All I got was a boring old pork quesadilla for lunch during the workweek -- I wasn't expecting much. But damn, it tasted like nothing. I've had some bad Mexican food but nothing this flavorless. One plus: it's one of the cheaper truck options in this expensive city. Still, at $8 for a pretty bad quesadilla, it definitely isn't worth the time or money. read more
