Did a double walk around with a magnet sweeper to get any lsot metal staples from the old roof. They did a full flashing on each end of the barn, a layment under the shingles under the gutters for extra protection and used additional nails on the back side of the Barn more prone to wind. Am I happy? As happy as a pig in slop. Neil gave me a more than fare quote and the work was done beyond my satisfaction. I tried to get some answers about my damage and never received a reply. I can see dozens of nails in the ceiling of my porch. I was told the mold was "typical" in the PNW but I've never had the problem prior to their work. The only boards showing this mold are the boards they installed. So how is that typical? I had already primed and painted the new boards so they should not have molded unless they were bad to begin with. There weren't enough air vents, causing condensation with enough leaking to actually see drips. when I couldn't get any answers to countless emails I signed up for a free estimate and finally got a response. I now have more vents, more nails showing and still damaged screens. I'm so disappointed and would never recommend this company.

So this my experience today. After calling 4 times and leaving a text with no reply by the receptionist, she finally answered the ph. while my wife and I were having lunch in a restaurant. I pointed out to her I had tried for 2 days to speak with willie but my calls weren't returned. I was ready to do business. I was direct, but not rude, here i am the customer chasing a company to give them my money, I felt she needed to know I wasn't pleased about this. She instantly got defensive and tried to give me excuses and then said" You're being mean to me". At this point I hung up. I don't have time nor patience for this childish non sense. her perception is her reality, but being offended when asked to do your job is where you lose me. She texted me asking why I hung up on her? I texted her back a straight answer pointing out what I had said on the phone and that her gaslighting me and trying to play the victim was not a game I was going to play. So she called her boss and within 3 minutes she texted me back that I " was a real A-hole and good luck finding another roofer". After playing the victim her boss gave her the go ahead and tell me to find another roofer, so now she was embolden to call me an "A-hole". She texted this to me! can you believe it. I got a laugh out of this. What's funny is, I liked willie and wanted to pay him to do a job, and we stood in my drive way and had this conversation about how poor customer service is today and how people get offended when you ask them to just do their job. I'm sorry this happened, there was no need for it, but I'm the customer, you are the business owner, you want my money I want your service. I'm 65 yrs old and know what good customer service is. I've been called a lot worse, but not by a company employee I wanted to do business with. BTW, I found 3 other roofers and each one is going to cost me more, but I don't care, at least none of them have called me an "A-Hole" for me asking for good customer service. Willie, you need to stand up for your employees, but there's always two sides to the story. She thinks I was being "mean". You met me. Was I mean? Was I rude? No, I was straight to the point and direct and nice to you. If you think I'm the only person that has had problems with your receptionist, think again. We wanted to build a unique, custom deck that was half covered and half pergola with a lowered seating and fire pit area. We provided him a rendering of roughly what we wanted, but didn't have much else so he had to ask a lot of questions to bring the design to life. He showed up on site (a 30min drive one-way for him) to put eyes on the space, then gave us a quote in person. The cost was a bit high for our budget (due to the complexity of the project), so we worked a few changes to lower the cost into our range. After we signed the proposal, he started immediately. He said it would take 10 days and he met that timeline. Throughout the project he had a few questions and alternatives, and he didn't move forward without first getting our input. He went above an beyond with quality, you can tell he loves the work he does and takes pride in his work; he did not cut any corners. I would recommend him to anyone; if my grandma needed a new set of stairs, Jim is my first call. He is trustworthy, quality, and fairly-priced. Well it's finished and I literally can't believe how it came out. It is over the top amazing. His vision came out into a stellar amazing park like setting. So many plants, trees, shrubs and flowers that the hummingbirds, birds, and bees are loving within the first few days. The pond is just spectacular!! His attention to detail is like none other. He and his son did an excellent job. We had some problems with a few walls in the house and Mark is a real pro. Serval walls had mirrors attached. Removing the mirrors left awful walls with holes and uneven surfaces. They now look beautiful. The house had walls of colors ranging from mustard to black. Now they are all one color. Even and beautiful. I highly recommend Mark and Craig.
