Parking Lot Taco Tour: Loco is replaced with a new truck. I tried the carne asada and wasn't impressed. Half of the beef was chewy and a little too greasy for my liking. The service is great and quick. They do have picnic tables if you aren't eating on the run. I chose to take my tacos to my office. Ambiance is a the angles p lot. El Taco Loco is gone. Replaced by El Taco Express/El Burrito Express. Similar menu, substantially different product. Nicer truck, Beverages always cold. Way better attitude. Really enjoy the frijole y queso burrito, but portions vary greatly. Sometimes as big as a half dollar around other times thicker than your wrist. Carne burritos come with rice, beans and crema. Pretty tasty, consistently larger and more filling than frijole y queso ones. Both red ad green salsas are quite good. read more

I got a smothered burrito Al Pastor and added cilantro, it was very good, probably one of the best I've had in okc. My husband had the 5 street tacos and he said they were some of the best he's had as well. My only complaint is that I'm pregnant and wanted extra sauce but they basically handed one (not the one I wanted) to my husband while giving him a really dirty look like he'd done something wrong. We would've offered to pay the extra of the sauce I wanted (I just wanted two of the green sauce) but they made it out to be a big deal so we just gave up. If not for the interaction with the employee it would've been a five, but I just feel like we left feeling like they were mad at us for asking for the side of sauce. read more

This taco truck has been using up the parking space of the largest gay club in town and as soon as the night rolls in, they close up their truck service. In my opinion, y'all should open late on the weekends at least or perhaps it would be best to have a different business in that parking space that does. Ok, so I don't eat at many taco trucks because many have lackluster food and questionable sanitation. Last night I was out with a friend and decided to try this taco truck in Angles parking lot at NW 39th and Pennsylvania. After talking to a few people, I decided to try their street-style tacos. The plate is $5 and you get 5 tacos which you can mix and match your proteins. I decided to get 3 chicken and 2 steak. First off, presentation and quantity of food is easily 10/10. They fill their tacos with so much meat and toppings I should have stopped after eating 3. The toppings they include are cilantro, onion, and a lime wedge. You are also given a red sauce (spicier) and a green sauce (mild). The flavor in these tacos is also amazing! They are so good! I am only giving this truck 4/5 stars overall because they only accept cash. Otherwise, it would easily get 5/5. Definitely try them out if you're in the area! read more

This truck is run by a very nice family serving up quality authentic Mexican food at great prices. Especially those yummy tacos. Filled with a good amount of seasoned meat, diced white onion and cilantro, they cost $1.00-1.50. They are the the average 4" size, come with two tortillas each, served with grilled onions, toreados chile and pickled carrots on the side. Asada has good flavor, small tender chunks, goes well with their salsa verde. Carnitas even better, pulled pork with slightly crispy pan-seared edges. The al pastor and chicken were my two favorites on this visit. Both stewed in a tasty, peppery marinade, lots of flavor! Turns out El Dolar is not king of the dollar taco. I went twice. First time: ordered the chicken quesadilla meal for $12+. What I got was a spoonful of watery refried beans with no beans, that were awful, a spoonful of mediocre rice, and 3 very flavorful quesadillas slices. A waste of $7 because I could have just ordered the quesadillas. Second time: 5 beef tacos that were ok, meat onion and cilantro, for $9 and a $4 for a stale, flavorless cheese and bean burrito. The tortilla was hard from sitting around. Have to say the worst taco truck food I've ever had and far too expensive. Will never go back. read more

I usually don't eat at food trucks but I spontaneously decided to give Taco Loco a try one night and I don't regret it! I've tried a few things on their menu now - quesadilla, burrito, tacos, militas, breakfast torta. My favorite things to eat there are militas and a variety of tacos to go with 44 oz my horchata ($2). Street tacos are roughly a little larger than the size of your hand - usually about 5-7 will fill me up. My S/O enjoys more quantity over quality and he prefers their super burritos and super quesadillas which are high key super. You can fill your order with any type of meat. I personally like asada, carnitas, and al pastor, but you really can't go wrong. Their salsas are a little spicy so if you think Flaming Hot Cheetos are spicy, then I would cautious. Be sure that you have enough cash to satisfy your craving! I think ever since COVID-19, they raised their prices a little bit, but this is still a great spot. Taco Loco is my favorite of the taco trucks I've tried in Oklahoma City. There's nothing fancy about what they do; it's just good solid food. I've had their tacos, quesadilla and tortas. They're all good, and they don't skimp on the meat. Today I ordered asada, pastor and carnitas taco. The asada was good, but the pastor and carnitas were great. My Son got food poisoning after eating tacos from this truck. Was sick for over a week and had to make two trips to the hospital! The last hung he ate was seven dollar tacos from this truck. Lab work confirmed he had food salmonella. Hospital reported the incident to the Food Safety department. I would not recommend this truck to anyone! read more
