    Chicken Taco plate

I love this place so much. I love trying new taco places and this truck is top tier and definitely the best in okc. The staff is always so kind and amazing and the service is great. Food is affordable and great for the portion size. I'll always recommend it here.

I got a smothered burrito Al Pastor and added cilantro, it was very good, probably one of the best I've had in okc. My husband had the 5 street tacos and he said they were some of the best he's had as well. My only complaint is that I'm pregnant and wanted extra sauce but they basically handed one (not the one I wanted) to my husband while giving him a really dirty look like he'd done something wrong. We would've offered to pay the extra of the sauce I wanted (I just wanted two of the green sauce) but they made it out to be a big deal so we just gave up. If not for the interaction with the employee it would've been a five, but I just feel like we left feeling like they were mad at us for asking for the side of sauce.

Sign that my day has taken a turn for the GOOD.

So, my peeps, this is only to add that the smothered burrito is bigger than life and I dream about it.

Ok, so I don't eat at many taco trucks because many have lackluster food and questionable sanitation. Last night I was out with a friend and decided to try this taco truck in Angles parking lot at NW 39th and Pennsylvania. After talking to a few people, I decided to try their street-style tacos. The plate is $5 and you get 5 tacos which you can mix and match your proteins. I decided to get 3 chicken and 2 steak. First off, presentation and quantity of food is easily 10/10. They fill their tacos with so much meat and toppings I should have stopped after eating 3. The toppings they include are cilantro, onion, and a lime wedge. You are also given a red sauce (spicier) and a green sauce (mild). The flavor in these tacos is also amazing! They are so good! I am only giving this truck 4/5 stars overall because they only accept cash. Otherwise, it would easily get 5/5. Definitely try them out if you're in the area!

The food smelled so good, I just dug into it without taking a picture! I had the barbacoa mulitas. My wife had the tacos and my son, the torta. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The torta was on beautiful, fresh bakery bread. Bring cash! Bring friends! Come hungry!

This truck is run by a very nice family serving up quality authentic Mexican food at great prices. Especially those yummy tacos. Filled with a good amount of seasoned meat, diced white onion and cilantro, they cost $1.00-1.50. They are the the average 4" size, come with two tortillas each, served with grilled onions, toreados chile and pickled carrots on the side. Asada has good flavor, small tender chunks, goes well with their salsa verde. Carnitas even better, pulled pork with slightly crispy pan-seared edges. The al pastor and chicken were my two favorites on this visit. Both stewed in a tasty, peppery marinade, lots of flavor! Turns out El Dolar is not king of the dollar taco. These guys are the real deal.

First time checking in and giving it a shot seen its always busy so thought lets give it a shot. Well not excited the meat is cut way to thick they use nacho cheese sauce thats bland had better at 7-11 and that bad But will go try one more time they have a decent menu but Carna Asada Fries are NO BUENO Tacos Rapidos Colorado still on top

It arrived as this dramatic, beautifully constructed tower of mixed seafood topped with avocado and a whole shrimp--definitely a dish that makes an entrance. The seafood seemed fresh, but I discovered that this particular style of mixed mariscos just isn't for me. Some of the seafood had a gray, translucent appearance and texture that I personally didn't enjoy. That may simply be characteristic of the preparation rather than any problem with the dish. I only tried this one item, so I don't think it would be fair to judge the kitchen more broadly based on my personal preference. What I can comment on much more definitively is the noise. It was extraordinarily loud. I eventually pulled out my phone and measured the sound level because I genuinely wanted to know whether it was as loud as it felt. I recorded levels exceeding 100 dB, with peaks around 103 dB. The staff couldn't have been friendlier. Unfortunately, I could barely hear them. I enjoy energetic restaurants and certainly don't expect dinner to take place in a library. But there's a point where "lively atmosphere" becomes something prospective customers deserve to know about before deciding where to spend an evening. This crossed that line for me. If a very high-energy, extremely loud environment is your thing, you may have a completely different experience. If you're hoping to have a conversation over dinner without shouting across the table, I'd choose accordingly. Friendly staff, impressively presented food, and a seafood dish that simply wasn't my jam. But the volume overwhelmed everything else about the experience--and at 103 dB, that's not background music. That's the main course.

It was very busy when we walked in but there was no wait. We were thankfully seated immediately and started off with chips and salsa. The chips were nice and crispy, but the salsa was mediocre. The tomatoes tasted canned. While I can totally get the efficiency behind using canned tomatoes for a busy restaurant, the taste is not preferred. The kids chicken quesadilla plate was a good amount of food! I just wish the quesadilla was already sliced as it was for our 3 year old. The chicken was also bland. Again, the portions were great. My son ordered the Burrito La Herencia with ground beef and this was seasoned well. Again, great portions of beans, rice & main dish. No complaints with this one! My spouse ordered the La Herencia fajita special and felt as if it was lacking. The steak pieces were minuscule and the shrimp was bland and undercooked. The pork chop was thinly sliced which was nice but VERY salty. We were wishing for more peppers and onions as well. Overall this dish was salty, but tolerable! It came with a side plate of rice, beans, pico de gallo, guac, sour cream & lettuce. Served with flour tortillas. We ordered the queso & guac while we were looking at the menu and waiting. I personally did not enjoy the queso. It was thick and had an artificial mouth feel. The guac was decent! Bland overall but I love the taste of avocado. I wish it had more lime and seasoning though since it was supposed to be Guacamole and not avocado dip. I ordered the Steak Mexicano with extra jalapeños and this was very good. Still on the salty side but I enjoy things on a SLIGHTLY saltier range. My spouse thought the steak was TOO salty. The peppers, onions, and tomatoes were nicely sautéed and seasoned. The rice here is also DELICIOUS. I hate a bland Mexican rice. The beans were good too but nothing to write home about. I do wish I was offered a side of corn tortillas. Overall this experience was okay! Not the worst but definitely not the best. The restaurant was beautifully decorated but there was a noticeable lack of music. We were sat listening to the chatter of all the different customers and kitchen noises. We did have the option of booth or table AND they have boosters seats/ high chairs upon request.
