I chose a three enchilada lunch special plate that came with rice and beans. The rice is a type that I seem to have had many other Mexican joints, kind of fluffy rather uneventful. I'm not really a rice person so I basically only had a couple of bites and decided it just wasn't worth all the carbs. The refried beans were quite runny and spread thin on the plate so it covered a lot of real estate but there wasn't much there. The enchiladas on the other hand I felt like we're decent. I got a combination of beef, chicken and cheese. I think I like the chicken the best. All this food was served hot, on a hot plate. I greatly appreciate that.

Again, we opted for the combination burrito which had sausage, chorizo, bacon, potatoes, cheese and beans all wrapped up in a HOMEMADE tortilla. The tortilla is one of my favorite parts as it's chewy, soft texture and slightly earthy, mildly sweet taste complements the filling to a T. You have the option of red or green (or both) salsas on the side. They are smaller containers of salsa so I'd get two of the kind you want. Fair warning, the green is a one-two-punch with heat! Again, it was BURRITO-FUL! As I stated in my first review, the staff is just the kindest! We had a great little convo with them before being handed our breakfast burritos. The parking lot was completely full but I found one space to park in. As we got to the door, several groups of people came out and we were able to get a table in a few (like 3) minutes. Leslie J got us started with chips, salsa, & cold draft beer. We ordered the Chef Plate and the chicken mole. My wife said the mole was good and a little sweet (every Chef makes it a little different). My beef relleno, cheese enchilada, & guacamole we're excellent. The decor is pretty average Mexican restaurant decor: bright colors, flowers, paintings, etc. An escape. I'll be back next time I'm in town. And I found out there are 5 more locations.
