The potatoes under the octopus, however, were perhaps my favorite part of the whole meal. Everyone else seemed happy with their food - the catch of the day (with the fluffiest mashed potatoes) was a very popular choice. If you're sick of seafood, they have steak and braised brisket on their menu. Really cozy and romantic ambiance as well for if you want to dress up slightly. They sell the fish by the kg and we were able to decide how we wanted each filet prepared. We decided to get one tempura, one garlic butter (my personal favorite) , one whole fish fried, and one other way which I forget. They even made a soup out of the head and tail left over from the filets. The best part was the price. It was surprisingly affordable. And came out to less than $10 per person even with drinks etc. This place is great when you want something delicious and not touristy. What a great treat.
