The food isn't terrible, considering this is something exotic for Del Rio. We phoned in a take-out order for Thai Spring Rolls, Tom Yum Gai (spicy chicken soup), and Tom Yum Koong (spicy shrimp soup). The 4 Thai spring rolls were fried crispy with a savory meat filling and came with two different dipping sauces and a side salad. The Tom Yum soups (Gai and Koong) were a nice blend of savory tanginess but not as spicy as we requested (Thai spicy). The two soup dishes were just that, soup, with no rice or noodles. While the menu does list these dishes as soups a note to diners offering an option of adding rice or noodles to go with the soup would be nice. We went back to order sides of noodles to go with the soup which cost an extra $3.00 each on top of the $10.95 and $12.95 we paid for just the broth, some meat and mushrooms. Take-out service was okay, and with the exception of having to order extra items to make our dishes complete, this was a nice change but nothing that would compete with our usual go to's for Thai food.

This is a nice restaurant, well maintained, clean (from what I could see), and with a good variety of menu options. I chose one of their lunch specials: one low price for a main entree (from a limited list), and appetizer, and a drink. I ordered the Cajun shrimp pasta and a salad. I didn't enjoy the pasta dish as much as I had hoped... I found it lacking in flavor (just a thin sprinkle of Cajun seasoning on top) and the sauce was a bland, thick, Alfredo. I should have ordered the chicken quesadillas. The salad was good. The service was very good. My only significant issue was the loud music made it very difficult to have a conversation. Background music needs to stay in the background. I got the feeling the employees drive it up for their entertainment. I may return, and order something I know I like... but never again for a business lunch.
