Fried chicken, chimichangas, corn dogs, steak fries et al. All good and made throughout the day. The real star however is the small Mexican takeout (they also cook the hot deli). Looks to be a Mother-Son venture. So far we've had the Quesobirrias. This trend across the West is well represented here. The Birria is so succulent and it's piled on, well seasoned, cheesy crisped corn tortillas and all the toppings. Next visit we had the very meaty Menudo. Rich tasty broth and tender tripe with no hominy. Saturdays and Sundays only. Today we wanted to get their Fridays only Ceviche Tostadas but as I was afraid of, sold out shortly after lunch. A good sign in my book. Highly perishable, make so much and when it's gone, it's gone for the week. Better luck next time. In place of the Ceviche, we got Barbacoa Tortas. BOMB! Every thing imaginable was on it. So good and again, obscene amounts of meat! Along with the Tortas, we got an order of Asada Fries that was a near work of art. If you're traveling on the 41 S of Fresno City, head W on Mt View Ave to Caruthers and treat yourself to a tight but surprising menu of delicious food. Dine with confidence. If you're into the harder stuff, I found several rare bourbons, whiskeys, tequilas here that you can't find in the larger chain stores. The quality of service is next level and the employees are very knowledgeable of the products they sell. I highly recommend this place for all your beer, wine and spirits needs. Lastly, the store is always clean and has a really nice ambience inside not to mention plenty of goodies for the little ones when they tag along with you. Enjoy!

I liked their selection so I grabbed the dolly and and selected my 1st 12 pack and put it on the dolly. The clerk came over screaming at me that I couldn't use the cart. I always try to buy local but had to go to a big chain grocery store. I'll never go back

The clerks are cool and is one of the few stores who don't secretly charge you 35¢ for no reason when using your debit/credit card. They have local, imported and average beer for everybody's needs. Place is next to a motel and across from Aaron's and O'Reilly's stores. Even tho is small and not big like Liquor Locker is way better just in general and close to other businesses. Not a lot weird people go but mostly people that just got out of work or the people staying in the motel. It's hardly packed, just a consisted flow of customers so you won't look like an idiot waiting like in some other places. I rate this place 4.0
