This is an interesting liquor store. Normal, well stocked…read morewith the usual convenience store fare. Hot deli will be familiar to people who get to Fresno Co Ag towns. Fried chicken, chimichangas, corn dogs, steak fries et al. All good and made throughout the day. The real star however is the small Mexican takeout (they also cook the hot deli). Looks to be a Mother-Son venture. So far we've had the Quesobirrias. This trend across the West is well represented here. The Birria is so succulent and it's piled on, well seasoned, cheesy crisped corn tortillas and all the toppings. Next visit we had the very meaty Menudo. Rich tasty broth and tender tripe with no hominy. Saturdays and Sundays only. Today we wanted to get their Fridays only Ceviche Tostadas but as I was afraid of, sold out shortly after lunch. A good sign in my book. Highly perishable, make so much and when it's gone, it's gone for the week. Better luck next time. In place of the Ceviche, we got Barbacoa Tortas. BOMB! Every thing imaginable was on it. So good and again, obscene amounts of meat! Along with the Tortas, we got an order of Asada Fries that was a near work of art. If you're traveling on the 41 S of Fresno City, head W on Mt View Ave to Caruthers and treat yourself to a tight but surprising menu of delicious food. Dine with confidence. The worker was kind and did try to help me find a red I wanted. Just didn't work out. The store does have all different alcohol, other drinks, snacks & more! Good service.

7/3/24 Came to get…read morewine for Sunday. Looked around. Didn't see any and asked the worker. He was very kind. They don't have any yet! FYI! He told me they are working on their liquor license. It should be about a month. Needed to Yelp it. Can never be the first! Ended up getting some Celsius Live Fit Sparkling water. Watermelon flavor! They have a variety of the Celsius drink flavors. Checked out and the worker was very kind. Wished me a good day & I wished him good luck getting his liquor license. He said new owners and the store is small, but nice. Has all different snacks, drinks & goods!! Good service & store! Recommended!!

During our visit, there was a party with tables and seats set up on the lawn. The tasting room is rustic with some seating and a record player and crate of records. Guests are encouraged to bring their own records too. The tasting fee is $10 and you get to try about 6-7 wines. I don't drink but I enjoyed sitting outside and soaking in the view. Hubby really enjoyed the wine and bought several bottles. Coming from the bay area where Napa wines are pretty pricey, these wines were a real bargain at about $30 or less a bottle.

There's several seating areas indoors and out. Upon entering, we were greeted by one of the owners, who's friendly and chatted with us about the winery. The tasting fee is only $10, which is returned if you buy a bottle (we did). The wine is quite good, and much more affordable than Napa. The place is really well maintained, and the view from the patio is beautiful. There were a few celebrations going on, with food and wine. I believe the food was brought in from outside since I didn't see any food service at the winery. This is definitely a nice venue to gather some friends, bring some food, and enjoy their wine.
