A classic.converge pay.com, This merchant account was assign to us by Regions Bank, For our small sales company www.yellowhelper.info first batch was without a problem then the second one is were the nightmare starts, First they we got an e mail from Elavon did not know they are the same company, stating that the charges are not correct & information was missing so they held on to the deposits until we get it correct, next week was of useless e-mails from (Sara Miller) sara.miller@elavon.com (Investigative Analyst) claiming, 1) she can not access our website 2) Information from the clients is incorrect, 3) Explanations on how & what we sell to our clients was not clear, bla bla, & I say this because it was all useless and a waste of time trying to explain to this Analyst the issues at hand. OUR IT department send screen shots of everything to do with our business, pictures of the office, direct links to our website etc and Nothing worked. Confirmation from our clients vie e-mail, doc sign agreement and to the point to ask our clients to call her direct line because she was not satisfied with the info we provided . We got to the point to ask the client on what year they apply for their cc Ironic. Got our clients to cooperate and take their busy time to call her direct line and no such luck. She made us look like we were stealing and Embarrassed our company to the point that we reached to our clients for help to provide more more personal information then is necessary in order to prove her the purchase was legal. For one how will our clients purchase from us if they don't see our site on line (www.yellowhelper.info) The logical explanation is that this (Risk Department Analyst) did not follow our company info and made a decision to cancel us without giving us the chance. 2) 3 of our client took the tie to call her direct line in order to give her their their personal info and to clarified the miss understanding. Her respond was always done thru e-mails and send at the end of the day 4:30 to be precise. I take it this lady before she left without following up on our business just send a is not good enough answer and after all she just said sorry your account is closed we will be holding on to your money for 90 days you not good enough for us, so if you are a small business and think about dealing with them STAY AWAY READ MY STORY that is not a story is a nightmare for my start up and thats what is like dealing with ELAVON... read more

If you know you know, around 12,000 held for no reason after a random account shut down after using them for about a week during the Christmas season. I needed to process refunds since my funds were being held for 3 months and we couldn't afford to ship the products and wait that long for the funds back. My ability to process refunds was taken away and I was told by Chelsea Bejines to just have the customers to open chargebacks as that was the only option, keep in mind these were Christmas gifts and im assuming people would want their funds back quick so they could purchase elsewhere. On top of it this got me on the match list due to all the chargebacks. After countless emails and the cold shoulder I reached out to the consumer finance protection agency and they worked it out. Elavon agreed and refunded us all the chargeback fees and removed us from the match list. They were shocked I was told to wait for the customers to open chargebacks. The relationships destroyed and the revenue lost during the busiest time of the year was absolutely devastating and priceless. Corporate or higher level employees made it happen but the low level workers are not helpful nor friendly. They have an "oh well it's not my problem" attitude. Elavon will make a huge mistake if they allow Mrs Bejines to continue working for them. If you want to take the risk of ruining your business and reputation then by all means, if you're desperate, open a merchant account with them. It isn't worth it in my opinion. It's almost march. Was a member since 2013 until their machine decided to update and leave us high and dry. We called US bank and they did not even know who the provider was on many occasions. I've already wrote this with plenty of more information on other platforms so I will keep this as basic as possible. 2021 machine said if we don't update it , it won't work anylonger until it stopped. After exhausting all avenues I got a new merchant service Co. Never did the mail or email us about the fact that they have no money coming in and that the machine had not been able to update because it needed a code of some sort. Being disabled I have had numerous surgeries and issues so when I would be able to go back in I would a few times a year. This last time was Sept October and I finally found someone that was enthusiastic. She said she would work on it. In December she finally got me in touch with another Associate that had a different system. He was able to get me in touch with Elavon and shut it down. The Elavon employee said tgey would have someone contact me on this issue. No on ever did so this week I went through the complete process again talking to everyone. If I could give them less than one star I would, It should be a -10 star company. I signed up in 2015 when it was free, just a very small transaction fee and no monthly fee. I used it one time, then came the chip cards and they wanted me to buy a reader for 500.00. I said no thanks and told them to cancel my subscription and that was it, or so I thought. Now covid comes around and I switch to banking online and find that not only did they not cancel it, but they started charging me for it at 30.00 a month, then that went to 49.99 a month. So I have been charged for this for 5 years without knowing. I called to complain and get a refund and the man laughed at me, he said he didn't see any reason to give me a refund. Then he said that they record the phone calls and that I never cancelled the service. I said then let me hear the recording, and he said we don't have it any more. I said then how can you say that I never cancelled it. He Laughed again and said I wasn't getting any money back, Then he had the nerve to ask me if he could HELP me with anything else. I then had to call the bank, they tried and got me three months back. So I got back about 150.00 out of 2000.00 or so. Stay as far away from these thieves as you can. read more

What can i say about ELAVON, i'm in Canada, running online sales business for clothing and electronics. Recently got couple of chargebacks - usage of stolen cards, completely because of Elavon, they do not verify the address of payment before processing your transaction, it is same thing as running manual sales with keying card number. Address and the card number didn't match, basically they are not verifying anything. I try to solve it, and got extra 400$ charged on my account, when i asked why, they replied - This is the Arbitration Commissions... Dispute Resolution department is not helpful and very rude. Long story short, after i tried to settle this, Elavon went into my account and reversed back all the transactions processed within 6 month = $ 25,000. I spoke to Resolution Dpt again and they told me that they are going to hold funds for 6 month to verify my account... I have all the evidences, if anyone wants to sign-up with Elavon i will not recommend doing so, i understand that 0$ cancellation is that makes people go and sign-up, but trust me, you will have more hassle than service. If I could give zero stars I would!!!! I contacted them thru Costco Merchant services to set up credit card processing for my business. WORST EXPERIENCE. The Elavon folks don't know what they're doing, don't know what they're selling, and after I cancelled the service and sent the equipment back, they kept billing us!! We NEVER used the service!! Tried to get the charges reversed, and they told me to call the Leasing company. I called the leasing company and they said Elavon was supposed to initiate the refund. So I had to call Elavon back for the 6th time to get all of the charges reversed. Save time and lots of headaches and do NOT do business with Costco Merchant Services and Elavon!!!! read more
