The young man was yelling for a women to come out and fight made a seen . Staff sat there and watched while it happened. I can understand now why people say this school is a bad place they obviously dont care about the safety of the kids. Also heard a little boy brought a gun to school. I think the staff need a meeting to understand the safety of kids and training so that the school can be safe. Did I mention the boy was at least 6ft. The young women In the car must have been scared and yet the staff watched such a shame . That is harassment that young women should press charges if he continues

There was an incident where some older boys yelled "I'm going to rape you" while walking behind my daughter in PE and NOTHING was done about it! My daughter tild me the day it happened and I waited for a call from the school and NOTHING! I had to go in and write a report and I get a call from the principal saying that she wasn't even aware of the incident but that she would speak to my daughter so they could find out who the boys were. That was 2 months ago and til this day NOTHING has been done. I have sent the principal messages and they go unanswered. Her dad has gonr to the school and still no answers. They have really dropped the ball this year and I won't be sending jer back next year.

It is extremely frustrating as a parent to see concerns repeatedly brought forward without meaningful action being taken. Communication with administration is also very difficult. Every time a parent tries to speak with the principal, we are told we have to wait to see if they are available, which makes it even harder to address important issues affecting our children.

This past week, I attended one of the school's grand opening events, which blew me away. The school is modern, spacious, and clean. The students, dressed in uniforms, were excited and supportive. They emphatically cheered for one another as each student was introduced. The students' parents and extended family, including aunties, uncles, and cousins also attended the event. You could see the family members' beaming with excitement and pride. The President, Father Tom von Behren, is a passionate and well-spoken leader. He seemed to have all of the students' respect and attention. He spoke about the school's mission. The school combines traditional education with work study to prepare the students for college and beyond. Each student is assigned to one of the school's corporate sponsors to get first hand experience in a professional environment. I love the concept of combining classroom education with real life experiences within the community. I believe it will keep the students engaged and energized. I look forward to seeing the school and students grow.

Yes, Ms. Gesim received the teacher of the year award. But honestly, she deserves so much more. Her attentiveness to my older daughter's education was such a blessing. Specifically, the ham and cheese sandwiches are often served completely frozen solid in the middle. It's very difficult for students to eat a meal that is still an ice block, and it's disappointing to go through the afternoon hungry because the lunch provided wasn't ready to eat. We would really appreciate it if the staff could ensure all meals are properly thawed and prepared before they are handed out. We just want healthy, edible options so we can stay focused in class!"
