Let me start off by saying the customer service was really good! They were booked when I called so they took my number down and made sure to reach out as soon as something opened up. Once I got there and started the process, I started to second guess my decision to come here. First off, I've gotten my lashes done before and I have never smelled the glue like this time. It scared me that the glue smell was so strong because I've never experienced that before. It smelled like nail glue and also made my eyes burn/tear up A LOT during the process. This could've caused the lashes to fall out sooner but I don't think it would've been as bad as it was. The photo attached shows what fell out the next day! Apologies for this being so long! Don't usually write reviews, but my experience here was beyond horrible so simply have to share. I'm actually mind blown at how badly it went. Most of the story you can tell from the screenshots of my communication with the salon. I've had eyelash extensions done many times before, but this was my first time here. Usually, it's a pretty relaxing experience and I can even nod off, but not here. The tech (and co-owner!) Shanty used her phone the whole time working on my eyelashes - phone calls, FaceTime, and texting (I could tell from the clicking noise as the volume on her phone was on). I was extremely uncomfortable with it as phones are not clean and she did not clean her hands before touching my eyes again. It also was taking up quite a bit of time. I waited till she was done and spoke with her about it. She made excuses that it was related to her kids and she had to take care of it. It's true, part of it was vaguely related to kids, but that was a fraction of it. She was not apologetic whatsoever, but did say she would avoid using her phone next time unless she absolutely had to and said she'd step away in that case. Stupidly, I believed it and signed up for their classic membership that includes the initial application, two refills and removal. On their website it stated it was $200, but I got charged a little over $250 ($230 plus tax). When I got home I took a close look at them and noticed that no extensions were applied to the inner and outer corners or the eyes. It wasn't super obvious, but it bothered me. The lashes started falling out the following morning despite me following all instructions. The problem was that they were falling out in clumps because of the way they were done. Apparently she used "fans" instead of individual strands. So when even two fans fell out you could see a very visible gap already. I knew they were closed on the weekend so I contacted them on Monday regarding my issue and made an appointment for Thursday to get them fixed. It was Shanty again working on me. She was very short from the beginning and again there was no apology even though at this point I was missing at least half of the eyelashes from my left eye. It's been only five days since I got them. I asked her to redo them as fans is not what I asked and payed for and she said that she only had half an hour and all she could do was to patch up where the eyelashes were missing. She did end up working on me for closer to an hour. She still used her phone to text, which she denied later. Again, the volume on the phone was on so it was very obvious when she was texting. At that point I knew that it wasn't a place I wanted to come back to and asked the receptionist for a refund of the rest of my balance. I imagined I'd be charged just for one application and be reimbursed the rest. However, she insisted that I had to be charged $50 for the refill because she spent so much time working on me. I tried to explain that if it was done properly the first time, I wouldn't have to come back again so soon and waste her and my time. However, she kept trying to put the blame on me, that I did something wrong. Out of $250 that I payed, I only got $90 back. The cherry on top was the comment they left about me being a difficult client on the receipt. I wish I never set foot there and now I know I never will again. As soon as you step inside of this place, you transport! It's unlike any other place in New Rochelle.. it is super posh, clean and high-end service. The beautiful boss queens that greet you are nice and ready to assist you with information about their services. I have done individual lash extension and a makeup services. (2 separate appointments) They were ready on-time of my appointment and asked me about what I like and how I wanted my lashes and makeup before even starting. This made me feel comfortable and automatically knew I was going to get the right service for me. All the equipment was new, clean. The process of my services were specific and informative. First let me start from the beginning. When you walk up to Lash Out Loud, the first thing you notice is a beautiful floral wall right by the entrance. I later found out that customers can use it for selfies. Brilliant! The second thing is the cleanliness of the place. Bright white walls, clean floors, wiped down mirrors...everything was perfect. I've always wanted to do microblading, but I just never had the opportunity. So when I walked by the shop a week ago and made an appointment, they also offered a grand opening special, which provided a 15% off deal. I made the appointment for 2:40, got there at 2:40 and Elena was there waiting for me at 2:40 (what?!) She took me to the back and gave me a legit 40mis lesson on what microblading is, what my expectations are and asked me if I really wanted to get it done. (super dope) Elena put some numbing cream on me and went right to work. She was gentle and kind. We laughed... I cried... it went by fast. I've been coming for a couple months now and I got a glamorous set of lashes that really compliments my eye shape and face. I started coming in to do my eyelash extensions in October and let me tell youu Shanty got me hooked !!! I have been coming back to see Shanty , she's my girl . ALWAYS looks out for her clients and does her best , she's a perfectionist and always makes sure you walk out looking stunning . But the best part is the whole staff is amazing , I love all of them honestly. Yolan who is in the front always greets you with a warm welcome and ask if I want water or something , how cute ! I visited this place for lashed back in 2021...have not returned due to Shanty being on the phone for half the lash session. Dude... you should be focusing on my lashes and I should not have to smell your breath due to you speaking on your phone so close to my face. After the session I noticed the lashes falling out daily... and some were fans. It was my 1st time and didn't know any better. But know that I get them done I see the lashes aren't supposed to fall out so soon, they are supposed to be individual lashes, and the techs never talk and text during service. read more

I really wanted to give this place a good review. It was so close to me and the reviews were good so I thought I'd try it out. HOWEVER: My appointment was scheduled for 2pm -- she called to push it until 2:30 which I said was fine. We didn't start on my lashes until at least 3:15pm. But I didn't leave until 6:30pm!! I cannot believe this process took 4 HOURS of my day without an explanation, apology or attempt from the owner to make it right with a discount. It was not the most relaxing or professional experience. I am so disappointed. My eyes are still very red and sore from the "service" hopefully I will not have to go see an eye doctor. The absolute worst eyelash experience I have ever had. The eyelash tech was 20 min late to my service. She picked my eyes 3 times. She was on Instagram and was checking messages the entire time. When I was done, she ripped the tape off and ran out. This entire experience from beginning to end was unprofessional and unpleasant. I'd rather go to manhattan then ever come back here again. At the end, I raised my concerns to the receptionist and once again unprofessional. I wish I would have left my review a lot sooner but I normally do not do reviews, maybe I could have saved one of these ladies from the time wasted and horrible experience they would go thru visiting this place and dealing with that unprofessional Shawnty! The owner must have been dealing with some financial issues to actually make this Shawnty a partner. First visit Brow tint from hell .. I have blonde hair Rooted brown, I left with my eye brows looking it was tinted with a black sharpie which I was told that was the only color they had ..(I've never had tinting done ) I go back give it another chance for fixing it .. tinted in a dark brown this time .. after talking to owner she said they have all colors but The shade was still to dark for my taste but Shawnty insisted on that color said it would be fine and would lighten up.. I would think it should look perfect walking out of salon.. My normal eyebrow pencil used is a light brown to dark blonde .. but again she insisted..mind u while working on me she's wearing a sports bra like top with shorts .. she leaning all over me chomping her gum and smelling like underarm .. I figured maybe it was just the day .. .. What was wrong with my brain for booking her for make up .. whyyyyy oh why ..she seamed nice. maybe she was having a sweaty off day & not in uniform/logo shirt or something. The day of make up no one was in the front to great you which was a repeat of before. I feel like she did it purposely.. her brushes did not look clean my face even started tingling.. and then was rushing saying she has a client coming so wtf I booked this slot for then ? Just to make me look like clown for your amusement? Crazy cheap lashes offered was put on and 20 min after leaving was coming off .. when she was done I went to the bathroom and wanted to cry .. it looked like a joke .. the other client came in while I was in the chair & I could see it in her face of how I looked .. this was before me looking in the mirror.. After going to the bathroom I just wanted to get out of there. I was soooo upset..after leaving I regretted letting her get away with that .. I should have never gave her a cent . I go to my car which luckily was parked right out front and looked in the mirror and my anger was just building my face looked like I had a ton of caked on make up all thick and nasty like she used foundation putty I ask to glam me but she scammed me .. She is just really unprofessional.. doesn't qualify to run or partner in any business.. doesn't dress accordingly.. has attitude.. between the gum , the texting , the uncomfortable greeting ,oh they also don't answer the phone either .. I got my eyebrows and a facial done here and I adored the whole process. The people there are really sweet, offer you a free beverage immediately and talk you through the experience if you need it. Terrible Experience! I am extra particular when it comes to my eyebrows so I searched for a while and due to its "Great" Reviews I decided to give it a try. First thing I said to the lady was how nervous I was about trying a new place and it had taken me a while to grow my eyebrows back because the last place messed me up. They reassured me they were the best and they understood how eyebrows can be easily ruined! Well behold I made an appointment ! Place was Beautiful that I will say. But i laid on the table and i said please Do NOT take off from the top and the first thing she did was do exactly what i told her NOT to and that was it! I went to get a classic eyelash extension set everything was going good the service and all very plite and clean! they told me right after my service was done not to shower because it Will affect the lashes, I did as what they said so and followed instructions 3 days later my natural eyelashes were falling off with the Extensions i called in with the owner and they said they will call me back to figure a solution for it.
