Pros: - Quick responses via email - Got there early enough to have plenty of time to set up - Asked several questions to confirm everything was exactly as we wanted - Accommodated my request to announce the Cupid Shuffle as a song I wanted my husband on the dance floor for - Checked in with us throughout the evening to make sure we were happy with the order of the cake cutting, speeches, etc. - Would not play random songs that guests requested without my permission - Gave us a CD with our playlist (we didn't even ask for one!) Cons: - Did not have some songs my guests requested that I gave permission for - Seemed like there was a slight disconnect between the flow of music and number of guests on the dance floor. I wish he would have read the room a little better to keep people on the dance floor. There were a few occasions where the dance floor was completely empty. read more

A group I volunteer with booked Electric Blue for the Children's Book Fair in Hyde Park, and they could not have been better. They were easy to book, easy to work with, and did a phenomenal job day of. Kevin arrived early to set up, knew our schedule and fit his entertainment around our schedule, announced all events, got everyone situated during story readings, and kept the kids (and a lot of parents) entertained. Kevin was funny, had high energy, knew how to read the crowd, and had our kids and parents playing games and dancing all afternoon. If you are having a large event for children, you should book Kevin as a DJ. He will make you look amazing. read more

Stephan and Matt did such AMAZING job...they rocked our wedding with awesome introductions, music (everything we asked for.) and much much more. I never had a problem or had to make a decision once there, they just handled everything beautifully. I honestly have nothing to say more then they did great. The Blues Brothers tribute (reenactment?) was so fun and people enjoyed watching (I got comments after about it :).) and now being through the wedding I wouldnt recomend anyone else. We used Electric Blue for our September 14th Wedding. We loved them! It was extremely easy to get in touch with them throughout the planning process. Our DJ (Terry) personally called us a few days before to go over all of the details. Terry was there early and all set up - he was easily accessible during the whole reception and made sure to run anything past me before doing it! (Bouquet toss, etc.) The only thing was that as the night went on, I requested that the music change to more of a younger vibe (He was playing a lot of Motown - which we requested!) but it did stick to an older vibe. Which was fine because it was all of our parents and their friends on the dance floor all night! Terry was also great at pronouncing everyone's names during introductions. I was nervous about that since we had a few long last names - but he made sure to talk to everyone before introductions - to make sure he had them right! read more

Terry DJ'd our May 30th wedding. From start to finish he was on top off all music and announcement aspects of the reception. From making sure the wedding party entered in the correct order to getting everyone up on their feet through his selection of music, his level of coordination and enthusiasm ensured the event was a huge success. I don't know why it took me so long to write this. Electric blue was wonderful. Our wedding was at Galleria Marchetti in the city and we had Matt as our outstanding DJ back in May 2016. I couldn't have been happier!!! Our dance floor was full the whole night as we had wanted. Looking back at our video I can't help but smile seeing the amazing time that our guests had. Matt provided a good mix of the music that we had requested while also playing the music he knew would keep the dance floor rocking all night. We also had the package that included giveaways which was awesome! Our guests had the best time with the glow necklaces especially. While there were some things we would have liked (like announcements for after dinner snacks), we think that was just a lack of communication of our venue and planner to him. Honestly that is the only thing I could say negative about our experience which wasn't on Matt at all. The communication leading up to the big day was also great and I felt that it was a very positive and organized experience. The price is a steal for the quality of work they provided. We had the best experience with Electric Blue Entertainment at our wedding this past July. I will admit, I was nervous since they are so affordable, I was concerned that maybe I would be sacrificing quality for the savings. But I had a good recommendation from a friend so went with them. And I'm so happy I did! I turned out to be super controlling about the music we wanted, but they were so incredibly easy to work with. The week leading up to the wedding I felt bad because I kept calling and emailing with questions and changes to our playlist, but I was never made to feel as though I was being a pest (even though I know I was!). I've been to weddings where the music transitions were awkward and clumsy, but our ceremony music was so smooth and natural. We didn't go with traditional ceremony music so I wasn't sure how the songs would blend together but Eric did a fantastic job. He played exactly what we wanted and when we wanted during cocktail hour and dinner, and the reception was perfect. I'm not exaggerating just for the review, but as soon as the dance floor opened up, it was packed until the lights came on at the end of the night. And he had a great voice on the mic...bridal party announcements etc. were great! A little thing that made me smile throughout the night was that our DJ looked like he was enjoying himself too. I would think that doing countless weddings night after night that anyone would get tired of playing the same, cliche wedding playlist, but Eric looked like he was getting into the music and enjoying his time there. Where do I even begin?? I would HIGHLY recommend Electric Blue Entertainment to anyone looking for a DJ for their next event but especially their wedding!!! My husband and I were married on November 8th and we were so lucky to have Kevin & Matt from Electric Blue Entertainment as our DJs - they were fantastic!!!! They kept our dance floor full the entire night and even when there were a few "lulls," they would be in the middle of the dance floor getting people to move. They were also the nicest guys to work with and had such great personalities. My husband and I never saw them live so we took a huge gamble when we booked them for such an important day, but it was the greatest and most successful gamble we took that day!!! We are still being told how wonderful they were and how much fun they had thanks to Kevin and Matt! We were even told that whatever we paid for them was definitely not enough because they were so great!
