I have been wanting to get my nose pierced for over 10 years, but never got up the courage to do it! I spent several hours looking for a trustworthy piercing shop in my area, and finally exhaled when I found Electric Tattoo Parlor! I scheduled an appointment online with Ian for about a week out. I arrived to my appointment on time and Ian was there to welcome me! It was very clean inside and I appreciated that piercings are done in a private room in the back. Ian walked me through the whole process and showed me how everything is sterilized before the piercing. He quickly put me at ease! Ian did a great job with my nose piercing and walked me through aftercare. I was able to get everything I needed for aftercare at the shop. He also has you come back 2-4 weeks after the piercing for a checkup and to swap out to a shorter post! The fact that they have you come back to ensure the piercing is healing well shows that they actually care about the quality of their work. I only had my piercing yesterday, but I LOVE it and I'm so happy with my experience and how it turned out. I have already recommended Electric Tattoo to several friends and will DEFINITELY go back whenever I want another piercing! read more

I took my daughter here to get a double helix piercing. Joanne was friendly, requested ID for my daughter, which I appreciate (I've heard other places do not request ID for underage clients), and she explained everything very clearly. My only complaint is the price. Her friend got a double piercing at another parlor and she was charged $60 total. I paid $160 here. My assumption is that the difference in price is due to the use of titanium studs, but it doesn't help the feeling that lube should have at least been offered. OUCH! read more

EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE. This is by far the worst experience I've had with a tattoo artist and I have dealt with many. I was asking for a snake and peony coverup design with a distinct style and I brought in a reference photo (posted below.) I was recommended TEDDY GARSON for the job, and I liked her work on previous clients. I asked if she could create a coverup that looks like the reference photo I brought in but with a few more flowers or snakes and she said of course, no problem. So I booked an appointment a month from when I came in ($100 down deposite.) I asked her if she had created a design about a week before the appointment and the answer was NO. She ended up not even showing me the design until I arrived to the shop for my session because she said "that's how she does things" (had I been told that's how she does her work, I would have never picked her as my artist in the first place.) I didn't like the design she showed me at first so I asked her to change it. BECAUSE OF THIS SHE WAISTED AN HOUR OF OUR APPOINTMENT TO REDRAW IT AND I PAID FOR A FULL DAYS SESSION ($700.) Mind you I don't earn alot of money. The second design was better, still didn't look anything like what I asked for, but she repeatedly told me to just trust her, she "KNOWS" what she's doing. So a week after I got the tattoo I messaged her and said I really wasn't happy with it and asked her if she could add color to it since, at that point, she only used grey, purple, and some black, which DID NOT COVER AND WOULD NOT EVER COVER THE PREVIOUS TATTOO COMPLETELY LIKE SHE SAID. In her response her attitude was completely disrespectful, and made me feel like I was just a pain in her ass and not her customer. She made me feel completely uncomfortable to come in for the second session and at that point I didn't even trust her too finish the tattoo how I wanted. This tattoo has made me extremely self concious and I am now GETTING IT REMOVED as soon as I can afford it. My wedding date is now being postponed because of how ugly this tattoo make feel. This is a new shop, but those chairs are filled with people who know what they are doing and have the experience to back it. The facility is VERY clean and comfortable. With the low partitions, you get a great shop feel and everyone is able to chat and hang out. Makes for a nice open and airy atmosphere. We took our daughter to Electric Tattoo to get her ears pierced and couldn't be more pleased. Ian greeted us, showed my daughter the jewelry choices and was extremely easy to work with. She backed out the first time we stopped in since she was scared but we decided to go back the next week when she was ready. On the second visit, Ian and Brandon made my daughter feel very comfortable and made sure she knew everything that was going on so she wouldn't be scared. This place was recommended to me by not 1 person, but 3. I went there and walked in wanting my cartilage pierced. This was my 4th time having them done as previous places had done a messing job and I was stuck waking up to my ear bleeding in the morning and it never healed. Anyway, I've never had piercing go so smoothly. It was super sanitary, quick but very efficient, and the woman was so nice. I was able to sleep on my ears like 2 days later. I sat for Bryan yesterday, for two separate pieces and couldn't be any happier with the process overall, and especially the outcome of the work. When I gave Bryan my 'mock-up' of what I had in mind, he provided feedback based on his experience and expertise in the industry, which was very much appreciated and taken into consideration. As soon as I arrived to my appointment, Bryan was working collaboratively with me to ensure my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. He walked through his vision for how to get the paw print as realistic as possible, and clarified how he'd recommend the chest piece to be modified to look proportionate and clean. Through the 4 different artists I've sat for, Bryan is by far the most impressive. He cares about his work and I got the impression that the two pieces he was doing for me were the most important to him at the time. I know the work he does for someone else today will also receive that same diligence and attention. I will most certainly be back to Bryan for my next few tattoos, he exceeded my expectations on these two pieces which are very important to me. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I made an appointment to have my septum pierced. Meagan was my piercer. I picked my jewelry and she sterilized it. She put the clamp on my septum and pierced it. She tried to pull the jewelry through and the opening for the horseshoe was too small for my septum. So, I had to sit there with the needle, cork on the end, while she sterilized another size that would fit. Fine. She brought the new jewelry in and pushed it through. Success. Or so I hoped. I hopped off the table and went to the mirror. It was awful and crooked. Noticeably crooked. She then told me I could TAPE IT AT NIGHT TO FIX IT. WHAT?!?!? I told her I was in no way taping it to "fix it". She said she could re pierce it to correct it. She re clamped my septum and pushed the needle through AGAIN. Upon pushing it through she said immediately "I don't like it". She took the needle out. I'm bleeding. And she says, you're going to have to wait for it to heal and get it done at a later time. "Today's just not your day to get it pierced." What?!?!? Not my day? Not YOUR day! I should have ran when I asked you if you had ever pierced yourself and you said no. I should have left when the jewelry you let me pick was too small for my nose. I should have left when the first needle was crooked. I will never ever be back again and will be sure to tell all of my friends and following I have for my business that Meagan is not a qualified piercer. Do not go here for piercings under any circumstances. read more

I've had my fair share of tattoos throughout my life but while searching my local area I came across Billy Raike's work and was determined to step back into getting a tattoo after 15 years. You simply will not find a more well rounded, detail oriented, and masterful artist then Billy. I will continue to visit Billy until I begin to run out of space, and at the same time I anxiously away my appointment with Nate Bjork.
