She was helpful in the weeks before the wedding and especially at the rehearsal and the entire day of. She went above and beyond, and I can't imagine trying to get through the day without her. I did the planning of the wedding myself, but since I arranged all of the decorations and timing myself, I really needed someone to keep track of everything and to make sure my vision for our wedding was realized. Cathleen was exactly what we needed. She was an invaluable part of our wedding and I highly recommend her. Everything was above and beyond, and I was able to feel relaxed all day. Throughout the day she fixed a few minor hitches and kept all of the vendors on our schedule. Then, when we walked into our reception it was exactly as I had imagined. Beautiful! Then at the end of the night she packed everything up perfectly. I honestly could not be happier. I'm already thinking about other larger parties we might have where we could hire her again.

At this point we added 2 extras to the experience which chef accommodated at an extremely reasonable up charge. Communication was over the top great which is essential for putting on an event like this. Chef was on time and made himself at home in the kitchen. So on to the food.... Amazing appetizers, The mushroom caps with sweet cheese and pork, could have eaten 20. The ahi tuna crostini was unique because of how tiny the cubes of avocado and tuna as well as the quality of the tuna... the light sauce capped it off, it was just fantastic. The second course was a goat cheese fresh spring salad. With strawberries. I forget the dressing but i don't like salads and I finished mine first. Third was a beef tenderloin with a special Demi glaze, Kahlúa green beans (amazing!) and Gouda mashed potatoes. Everything cooked to perfection. Final course was key lime pie with a homemade whipped cream. My aunt joined us as well and has been making key lime pies for 30+ years. She said it was better than any she had made. Can't forget the kids meal. He made fresh, yes FRESH crispy chicken tenders with Mac and cheese. We said she doesn't like too overwhelming flavors so he pulled back on some of the salt etc. I have never seen my daughter mow down mac and cheese that wasn't Annie's from a box. I decided to call Friendly Faces because I was having in-laws in town who I haven't seen in a few years and I wanted to socialize. They arrived to my house an hour before the party, equip with everything they needed. Alamar went right to the bar and started to set up while Madelyn started setting out my food and helping with my decorations. I felt so comfortable with these two in my house, within an hour the party was ready to go and I felt like I had made two new friends. The party was a great success and I actually got to enjoy it. They setup, served my guests, and then cleaned everything from the tables to the dishes. They are truly professional, fun, and a pleasure to work with. I made a full payment of $1000 and left the balance due to 224. on Oct 12. When I called to to confirm we are good to go she said did I also add the mock tail?. Meaning the same drink that she said was already as a curtesy included for the 1,224. This vendor has some serious amnesia can't remember at all what she quoted. Told me the new invoice would be $1,304. I was disgusted. What a horrible experience to us a customer. She then proceeded to tell me she is not bringing ice or mixers to the location, only her honey bar, at this point I became concerned and convinced she honestly couldn't remember what she booked me. Please view the two different invoices. I calmly said we needed bar tending services and that's which she replied I only serve drinks from honey and don't do any bar tending, yet I in the invoice it reads extra hours on site. She clearly told me the extra hours would be for bar tending and staying from 2-11pm. How could you have such poor memory. She then tells me she can send a refund which I happily agree to and we both calmly hung up. Now here's the kicker... I get an email from vrbo saying I'm not suppose to have parties and that a Rachel bumbly bee honey told them i have 75 guest coming. She literally went out her way to sabotage my daughters bday. Event being 7 days away, invitations have been sent. Who on Gods green earth does this to a 3 year old African American toddler. This vendor in vengeful, unprofessional, flat out extrememy forgetful. If you value. Your event do not book Bumbly bee. The experience will be the worst one you have ever had.
