My number one issue with Elegance Nails is sanitation! I'm not talking COVID sanitation. I'm talking regular, pre-COVID, health department-approved sanitation. As a Spa professional myself, I am very familiar with the basic, required sanitary procedures expected in any nail salon. The pedicure I received was fine, until it smudged nearly completely off THREE HOURS later. I can't even wrap my head around that - But clearly I was not paying attention to the process because when I then sat down to get my manicure directly after another client had been at that station, not a thing was sanitized between the previous client and me. I sat down and he asked for my hands and I asked why he hadn't sanitized the station yet. He looked at me quite surprised and assured me that he just hadn't yet. Apparently what that meant was to take an antibacterial aerosol spray can and spray the cuticle pusher then try to use the same nail file on me that he used on the previous client! I bowed out of the manicure. It's not worth the risk. I took a blind chance on this business since I was waiting on a cell phone repair at the Sprint store in the same complex. This was an unfortunate experience that I will certainly not chance again. I live in Jefferson City so, luckily, Kim Nocula at "Polished by Kim" on Bolivar Street has made herself available to repaint my toenails in the morning. Thanks, Kim! read more

I completely disagree with "Rachel W." and her "LADY PARTS" (Really?! Because you just don't sound like much of a lady to me ... ) In fact, the expensive salon services offered here at very reasonable rates and in a relaxing, fun atmosphere, with the uber-friendly staff and management are the EXACT reasons why I come to Salon 4 & Spa on a regular basis. I have never had better color service in my life; this salon uses only top-notch products. My hair has never been more conditioned and healthy. And I happen to be a mom, so I know how exciting the holidays can be when you're trying to find fun presents for your children. I appreciate that the staff at Salon 4 are talkative, and not ever judgmental about what I have to say. I hope their style never changes, especially NOT based on some uppity reviewer (who should simply leave her "religion" in her car if she's so sensitive about discussing it). One final point. I ran across this salon on a Groupon deal! I've been back 20+ times in the past two years. I love everything about it. (Though I must admit, I've never tried to use a Brazilian wax treatment on my lady parts as a prime opportunity to find some "quiet relaxation.") read more

This is a wonderful salon with very reasonable prices. The services are excellent and the staff are always professional, accomodating and friendly. They do great work every time. Ive been going for about two years. Im so fortunate to have found such a gem. The owner is unbelievably talented, warm and just an awesome person. The massage therapist is the best! I recommend this place to anyone who wants great service, reasonable prices, awesome staff and a relaxing and pampering atmosphere. This is not your everyday, run of the mill salon and spa. I'm not sure why this nail salon doesn't show up when you google local nail salons in Columbia, but it should! I found Elegance Nails by accident and haven't gone anywhere else for 4 months now. I make an appt with Susan every two weeks! She is the bomb! So is her husband and other ladies that work for her. My favorite thing about Elegance is that they don't feel cold and high end... They're personable and you feel like apart of the family. I recently recommended countless others and they love her too! Worth every penny. They want your business, not your money! read more

After moving back home from Las Vegas I was in search of a good nail shop. I googled and googled and found great reviews for this salon so I took a chance and they did not disappoint!!. A full set with gel polish on my hands plus a pedi with normal polish on my toes was $65. That's a great price and the quality of their work was really good. We are from the state of California...(not the city of Missouri) and found this AMAZING place in yelp. I had a pair of acrylics taken off and gel nails put on and my best friend got a new set. Susan was amazing!!! Her husband ken was funny. Our nails look sooooooo good!! The salon was clean, friendly, and a great relaxing experience!! While visiting my daughter at Mizzou, we decided to get our hair done and decided on Salon 4 ans Spa. We had heard good things from friends about the spa. I decided on a new hair style and was delighted with the results. This was about 2 weeks ago, and I have had rave reviews from all my friends. Found this shop by accident when another shop locally kept me waiting for 4 hours with my feet in cold water.
