She came out the next day, suggested some changes for lighting, getting rid of some furniture, landscape suggestions, paint color, etc. on day of staging, they came in and out in 3 hours and the whole place was all staged. Beautiful furniture throughout. House was off market in 11 days. Score! Would use MIA furniture for future staging.

Lots of promises before signing. Lots of "not in stock" after signing…read more I hired Mia's Home Staging to stage my home in Sunnyvale. My issue was never that everything had to be perfect. My issue was that I repeatedly discussed specific requirements before signing the contract and was repeatedly told "no problem," only to be told later that many of those same items were unavailable. Before signing, I made it very clear that I wanted a Mid-Century Modern design. I confirmed this multiple times and even provided a Google Drive folder with inspiration photos. I also specifically requested natural wood furniture and repeatedly stated that I did not want painted furniture, especially white-painted furniture. I was also told that exterior plants and planters for the front entry would not be a problem. Then staging day arrived. One of the first things I heard was that the stager believed I wanted a "1970s retro" theme. That was never discussed and was completely different from the Mid-Century Modern style I had requested. As the installation continued, I kept hearing the same explanation: "We don't have it in stock." The exterior plants we discussed were unavailable. Furniture options I requested were unavailable. Despite my repeated requests for natural wood tones, a white dining table was installed in a kitchen that already had white walls and white flooring. I understand inventory limitations happen. What I don't understand is repeatedly assuring a client that specific requests will not be a problem and then relying on inventory limitations once the contract has been signed. The biggest issue involved photography scheduling. I informed Mia's Home Staging in advance that I had professional photography scheduled for 2:00 PM the following day and that twilight photography was part of the shoot. The night before, I was told the staging team would return around noon and that the schedule would work. Based on that representation, I confirmed the photographer. The next day, staging was not completed until after 3:00 PM. As a result, the photography schedule was compressed and I lost most of the twilight photography window. We only managed to capture a couple of twilight shots before it became too dark. This delay was not caused by the photographer. It was caused by relying on the timeline provided by the staging company. There was also a large rug installed that had a noticeable mildew or damp-wool smell. When I raised the concern, the focus seemed to be on how expensive the rug was rather than addressing the odor itself. I also noticed several unusual translucent green spiders appearing throughout the house after the staging inventory was brought in. I cannot say where they came from, but the timing was unusual enough to stand out. After these issues, I was not asking for a full refund. I simply requested a modest adjustment for the missed photography timing and the exterior staging items I ended up purchasing myself. The company refused to offer any adjustment. The dispute eventually went through Citi/Visa. During that process, Citi informed me that the merchant was willing to work directly with me to resolve the matter and instructed me to contact them. I followed those instructions, reached out, and followed up multiple times. I received no response. After Citi reviewed the matter further, the dispute was reopened and I ultimately received a $1,000 credit. To be clear, this review is not about whether the house sold. The company has pointed out that the home sold quickly and above asking price. Those are separate issues. What the house sold for has nothing to do with whether the company delivered the design direction discussed before signing, met the timelines they provided, or followed through on the promises made during the sales process. My experience can be summarized very simply: Before signing: "No problem." After signing: "Not in stock." If you use this company, get every promise in writing and confirm that the inventory needed for your project is actually available before committing.

DA BEST staging company we are so lucky to have found. We were looking for a good staging company…read morethat provides good quality work with reasonable pricing, especially with this very unknown market. Raj and Real Elegance Staging company was recommended to us by another realtor. What is so good about Raj and her company? 1st: The warm, honest, very personal, and very responsive customer service. Raj was on top of everything and patiently answered all of my (annoying) questions (since our 1st time using them, I wanted to be sure they are good...) 2nd: Raj has wonderful eyes for styles, attention to details, and especially she knows how to enhance the house's flow which is extremely important. 3rd: She and her team showed up on time and worked tirelessly to complete the big house in a day. She also showed up the next morning, before the photographer, to make sure every small details were taken care of. The final product was fantastic: The furniture was in great conditions (clean, no stains, no scratches) and all of the art works were beautiful. This is the first staging company that actually pleased my OCD problem!! :-) 4th: It was a stress-free process to us. We didn't have to come back asking to fix anything that wasn't up to our standards, especially with a $2M+ home. 5th: Most of all, her price was incredibly great. We love supporting small business owners and finding Raj and Real Elegance Staging was a true blessing to us. Staging can make or break a house and Raj and her company has helped ours to receive multiple offers. This will be the staging company that we will be using moving forward. Based on our experience, we highly and confidently recommend Real Elegance Staging to everyone. We want them to be continue to thrive so we all can benefit from it!!! Thanks, Raj, for finding the career that you are very good at and for caring about us as your customers.
