They greeted me with wine and were just so welcoming! I felt like I was visiting old friends! Being that I am so excited about my wedding, I visited Petit Fleur before officially placing a deposit on my venue. Word to the wise, do not make floral appointments, ANY APPOINTMENTS for that matter, until you have secured your wedding venue! During my first appointment Corrina literally took out 15 table cloths, chargers, topiaries, forks, knives, goblets, YOU NAME IT and set it on a table in the showroom just so I could get a vision of what my table could look like at my reception! No other florist or event planner has gone to those lengths on the first appointment to give me a real vision of what I could be potentially expecting. I was literally blown away! Now that I have FINALLY secured my venue and have my wedding date set in stone, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will be using Petit Fleur to decorate my ceremony/reception venue! P.S I was very shocked to read some of the negative reviews about the owner! She is a gem! I probably have an email thread of 17 messages going back and forth with her (and I have only been planning for 2 months)! I wanted to change my tablecloth- not a problem, I wanted to change the chargers- not a problem, I wanted to subtract the gold silverware that I was so adamant on including in the quote, lol,- not a problem! She has been so accommodating! I am so exited to work with them for my wedding!

A preface: of all the vendors from our wedding, this is our only negative review -- every other…read morevendor was wonderful. We hired Petit Fleur Events for our July 4, 2026 wedding. We're posting this so other couples know exactly what our experience was. Every statement below is documented in our signed contract, the vendor's own emails, or witnessed by our wedding party. Start with the contract itself. We paid a non-refundable $2,500 retainer based on an itinerary of services; when my now-wife asked -- twice, in writing -- what the actual contract was, the full terms were not provided until June 3, with the remaining balance demanded "by tomorrow," one month before our wedding. By then, realistically, there was no changing vendors. Those terms included a non-disparagement clause purporting to restrict clients from posting negative reviews. Had we seen that clause before money changed hands, it alone would have turned us away. (We're aware of the clause; everything here is factual, and we raised every concern directly and professionally with the vendor in writing first -- as it requires.) We signed a $5,332 agreement and paid $5,276 of it by June 5 -- in full under her payment schedule. At the design mockup -- held 18 days before the wedding, outside the 60-to-30-day window in her own contract, after she rescheduled it from the earlier date we requested -- my wife declined every single offered upgrade that came with a price. When dahlias were quoted at a $500 increase: no. Each time a cost was named: no. The pattern could not have been clearer -- we were staying inside our contracted budget. Then on July 1, three days before the wedding, we received a rewritten "itinerary of services" raising the subtotal from $5,276 to $6,733 -- roughly 26% -- built almost entirely from changes that had never been disclosed as carrying any price. There was no change order and no markup against the signed version: the contract's $1,051 courtesy discount was removed while other fees were waived in roughly offsetting amounts, and line items were silently added, deleted, and repriced throughout -- a wholesale rewrite in which nothing could be tracked against what we had signed. We had to reconstruct it line-by-line ourselves to find out what had changed. When we pushed back with the signed documents, the vendor claimed in writing that a line item "was added" in later revisions and that those arrangements "simply do not exist." That line appears verbatim in the itinerary she signed. After we quoted it back, she confirmed the arrangements would be provided after all. She also refused to provide the cake florals -- despite the signed itinerary containing a "Cake Floral + Table Décor" section she herself had priced at $50 -- and declined our written offers, made three separate times, to pay for requested additions through a standard change order. We were informed she would be on vacation from before our wedding through July 8. On the day itself, the boutonnieres fell apart during the event -- multiple members of our wedding party witnessed and can attest to this -- and in our opinion the arrangements delivered fell well short of the mockup we approved. Since our final email, we have received no further responses. Our advice to any couple considering this vendor: demand the full contract before paying anything, get every change in a signed written change order, keep every email, and compare every revised document line-by-line against what you signed. We wish we were writing a different review. -- Kent & Giordana, married July 4, 2026, Book Tower, Detroit

Debbie is simply the best. To start with: I was hooked on Debbie during our first conversations. Unlike other wedding planners I spoke with, she did not immediately push me on her packages and get me to sign a contract. Instead she spent two hours on the phone with me listening to our day and the issues we had run into so far planning. She immediately jumped in and worked with me trying to find solutions to these initial problems. I actually felt like she cared about our day and was going to work hard to make it perfect. That's when we chose her and over the year we planned together, we never regretted the decision. My husband and I had a complicated wedding day. We had 200 guests and had two ceremonies (Hindu and Christian) at two locations with a luncheon and evening reception. All in one day! It was logistically very complicated. In addition, Debbie had never planned an Indian wedding (which she was up front about during our initial conversations). While we definitely needed to both do our homework throughout the year, Debbie did an amazing job all year researching Hindu traditions and actually coming to us with ideas for vendors. She is unbelievably organized and meticulous which is definitely why our crazy day went so perfectly. We weren't sure if we could truly pull off our tight timeframe for the day but we did almost to the minute! Our guests definitely noticed how smooth the whole day was and appreciated it! We have received so many compliments about our wedding day from both of our families and friends. We were able to honor both sides and traditions and make the long day fun for them. Much of this success is due to Debbie. Debbie is also just truly a pleasure to work with. Her husband, Mike, and her are just "good people" that make it fun to spend hours throughout the year on the phone discussing what can be mundane details of a wedding day, checking out vendors, etc. She led us repeatedly to vendors that were similar - she tried to use smaller and locally owned vendors when possible. We were so happy with everyone she introduced us to and loved supporting local. One of the most telling signs of what Debbie meant to me is probably how I felt that week before the wedding. While I had some stress with our visitors and some private events we were hosting during the week with family and friends, I had NO stress about the wedding day itself. I had total faith that Debbie and her team would be on top of all the details. When my mom expressed a worry about how she'd know when this or that was happening on the day, I said "don't worry! listen to Debbie!" It's wonderful to NOT focus on all those details and last minute challenges of wedding planning, but rather to be able to focus on the excitement of marrying the love of your life and celebrating with family and friends. Debbie made that possible. Thank you, Debbie, for making our wedding day truly the best day ever!!

Debbie was the only vendor that I used who was able to work around the time difference and the whole planning process was seamless. We used Debbie for Day of Planning, as well as having her assist us with the rehearsal the night before. We had several phone calls in the months leading up to the event. It was so helpful that she always had a list of things that I needed to accomplish before our next call. I had so many other things going on it was difficult to stay on task. Debbie took the time to meet with me and my family during one trip to Michigan and was able to meet with me again when I returned three weeks before. She was so kind to all of my family members, after our first meeting they all commented on how organized she was. In the weeks leading up to the wedding Debbie offered her assistance with all the last minute details, she even offered to help me out if my family was starting to drive me nuts. Before the events she confirmed all vendor appointments and even worked out a few kinks we had in the scheduling. I was able to drop all of the little details for the wedding to her in advance so I would not have to worry about the little things like table numbers and seating charts. The day of our wedding Debbie and her team were so helpful, everything was seamless, she took charge of the ceremony, because the venue did not have an onsite coordinator. I did not have to worry about a thing. She even handled a little meltdown by my aunt. I do not think our wedding would have turned out so amazing without her. I would recommend her to everyone looking to have a day of coordinator. She will really put your mind at ease. You cannot put a price on the services she provides. It is worth every penny.

In the months leading up, Amy checked in via email, and we had a few video meetings to go over necessary details. Amy is so personable and friendly! Every chat felt like a conversation with an old friend -- yet she demonstrated the utmost professionalism. As far as tasks go, Amy is proactive, extremely detail-oriented, and always seems to be one step ahead. With my busy schedule, this is something that I really appreciated. During my wedding week, I met Amy's team, and they were just as awesome! Our day-of coordinator, Jenni-Elise, was an absolute godsend!!! Her and her assistant, Tori, did an amazing job of making sure that everything ran smoothly, and that every detail was taken care of. Of course, there were a few random mishaps (example: we were short 3 floral arrangements), but Jenni and Tori handled everything and made sure that I had nothing to worry about on my big day. Plus, they were such a blast to hang out with!! I am SO grateful that they were there with me on the most important day of my life! Our wedding was beyond perfect because of them. :) We will cherish these memories forever. THANK YOU so much, Amy, Jenni, and Tori!
