They DJ'd an event I was at and the DJ was very nice. Played great music. I'm planning on having them DJ an event for me next year.

I was paired up with this vendor from a friend at work. She had just used their service for her wedding, and I was attracted to the amount of services they could offer as a package. I met with TJ in December for my September wedding. We met at Crystal Gardens, which is a venue he does a lot of DJ work for. Since I'm from downriver originally, heading down that way to meet was not an issue. He was very friendly, and I was very happy with the package that was put together. I booked a DJ, photobooth, uplighting, and a monogram. I would say the only issue I had was with communication. Sometimes it would take quite a while to hear back from their company. If you are looking for someone to respond within 24 hours, this may not necessarily be the best bet. However, the day of the wedding went well. The uplighting and monogram looked great, the photobooth was a hit, and the DJ played the music that we had specified during dinner, etc. I would recommend this establishment to someone looking for a good deal on many services. read more

I used TJ Monte Productions for DJ, photography, and photobooth, and I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN HAPPIER! They accommodated even some of my weirdest song requests and my ceremony was so unique and beautiful. The photographer was absolutely the sweetest woman. During our consultation I asked her if she would be able to do some ideas I saw on Pinterest that involve heavy photoshopping and although she expressed it was outside of her comfort zone, she would love to try something for us. It ended up being the most hilarious and memorable photo of the lot. It has been 4 months since my wedding and I am so in love. My pictures turned out great and everybody raved about the music and the photobooth. Plus, the package deal I got was one of the lowest quotes I received out of 2 other major DJ services AND quoting each service individually. I highly recommend and I am an extremely picky consumer... I don't mind being totally honest in my reviews as I think it helps others shape their decision. I am completely satisfied with the money I spent with this company. :) read more

Worst DJ ever. Single biggest waste of money for our wedding. We uad an outdoor wedding. I rented a large diesel generator. I told him three times how to hook up to it. Did he listen? No because he's the dj and knows better. He disappeared for an hour to go get his generator. So my ceremony was an hour late because he left without tell me the groom. Wtf? Also he didn't say anything all night. Never engaged the guests. Didn't get our dances correct. Pronounce my wife's name wrong. I could go on but you get the picture. Take my advice all he wants is your money promises the world amd delivers nothing. I swear my step son with and iPhone and Bluetooth speakers could have done a better job. read more

Using DJs from TJ Monte Productions was the biggest mistake of our wedding. The DJ that came to play music for our garden ceremony played songs like 'Lips of an Angel' by Hinder (a song about cheating) and forgot the music we picked for our actual ceremony. The DJ for our reception did not play a single song on our general song list but instead played a ton of crap! No one danced and everyone was annoyed by the terrible music and left early. I wish they would have taken the song list we worked hard to put together into consideration. On top of that our DJ brought his girlfriend and was grinding on her the entire night (at our WEDDING reception.) Completely unprofessional staff with no consideration for the people that are paying them. Don't do it. read more

I saw that the previous reviews were all negative. Maybe they have hired new DJs since. Chelsea was our DJ for my daughter's destination beach wedding on July 11, 2015. I was very impressed with the music, her professionalism, the detailed questionnaire that pretty much guaranteed we got exactly the music we wanted, and how personable she was to every guest. They were all encouraged to let her know if there were songs they wanted to hear. She made the bouquet toss and garter game so much fun, that all of the guests were on their feet and very vocal! One of the best moments of the night! She also kept things on track, like announcing the cake cutting, the dances, etc. And she was just super sweet to me, because I was a stressed out wreck. We chose to have TJ Monte Productions as our photographer. We spoke to the manager a few times. We needed to know details so I asked her if I needed to give her a checklist of all the things we needed to be photographed. I asked her this because I knew on our wedding day we wouldn't be thinking of all of these things. She reassured me that she did not need a checklist that the photographer would know exactly what to do as she is a professional. Boy was that a lie. Lets start with the hotel. All of us got ready at a hotel in a big room. I had all of my girls in there. The photographer came in and for one was not dressed appropriately and she started taking pictures. The pictures of my dress were awful she hung it up on the bathroom door and on the wall above the bed. She didn't bother to straiten the dress or crop out anything so you see everything in the background. She took a picture of my mother and I in front of a bathtub! our faces were horrible as well. She did not bother to take any photos of the men who were down the hall getting ready.. After that we went to a barn to have some photos taken. The problem was she didn't know how to give direction or how to have us pose. So all of us were trying to figure it out. We are not photographers! We shouldn't have to do her job. The problem with these photos were that they were so far away so you couldn't see the faces of my bridal party. She didn't use a tripod when she should have. She made it seem like it was to much work to get it out. So all of my photos are tilted. Not to mention she totally blocked off a couple of our bridal couples. What I mean is there were other couples standing in front of them blocking them. After that was the ceremony. We went to the Hartland Music Hall. This place has a balcony and we specifically requested her to go up there and photograph our wedding which she did not. The pictures she took of the the ceremony were from her sitting in the audience. You see my guests heads in every photo. As if she were a guest and not a professional. My friends took the same photos.. They were horrible. You can't see our whole bodies and the angles were bad. After the ceremony We went out side after everyone left my husband and I asked her to stay and take a few photos of the best man and him and the maid of honer and I. She was irritated and didn't want to but did. Those photos came out bad. We again asked her to use her tripod. She didn't want to get it out of the bag. We were at this point getting frustrated with her attitude so we said forget it and went to the reception. Every single photo that was taken there were bad and I am not kidding. Shadows in every photo the faces on us and everyone were as if they were making an ugly face and the angles were horrible. Not to mention she didn't take photos of over half of my guests. I know they don't make guests pose but just a few photos of my guests mingling and having a good time would have been nice. When I look at these it seems as if I didn't have any guests. She also did not take pictures of my decor. Maybe a few of my flowers but those were bad with things blocking them and tilted. The family photos were bad my dads face was cut off my mother in law was making an ugly face she didn't crop out the guests in the background.. She took our rings and left for at least and hour and a half to photograph them. She was gone for so long we got worried. I though she left so my mother in law went looking for her. We think she was working two weddings at once but who knows. So when we got the picture back of the rings i cried, the shadows were so bad and they were uneven. I could have taken a better photo. We called the manager and she looked at them she said she didn't know what her photographer was thinking and apologized over and over. long story short we did get some of our money back. I am not a picky person and I understand not all photos will be great but my photos were not even good. Everyone that I showed them to said they could have done better. Our photos were ruined. We will never get this day back. Do your research people. And do it well. We did look in the photo albums from this company and they were amazing. The photos that we received were not even close to those. It also took over 4 months for us to get ours back. I will be more then happy to share all of my photos for whoever wants to see. Just ask I do want to add that the Dj however was great we had no problems whatsoever with him. He did exactly what we needed and wanted. read more

Hi!!! We got married last night in Cleveland Ohio and had a DJ scheduled for a year. He backed out without explanation Thursday night at 10 pm and we were freaking out that our reception would be boring and people wouldn't enjoy themselves nearly as much as we hoped. My younger sister/maid of honor has known Chelsea dobija for years and messaged her asking for help right away. Within 30 minutes of us getting the cancellation email Chelsea emailed me offering her help. We asked her to help us just based on the fact that shes known my sister for so long. We couldn't be happier with her. From the ceremony to the reception everything was perfect! she was interactive with the guests and played excellent music. She communicated well with us and our guests and the dance floor was packed until the very last song. Because of her we're actually glad the original DJ canceled because I do t think he would've done nearly as good of a job as she did!!! Chelsea is the BEST! She not only did everything I wished for , for my wedding... she went above and beyond! She was there for me to vent, and ask questions.. no matter how silly they were! The worst Dj company out there! The Dj only played what she wanted you to hear. She totally disregarded the list from the guest, even though she confirmed in the beginning that she would play them. She didn't play any slow songs or even attempt to cater to the needs of older/senior guest. There sound system was poor quality in terms of hearing people speak. The "light show" was something for a kindergarten production. We would have been better playing Pandora from a Bluetooth speaker. Save your money and don't use the company. They are even lucky I have them one star when they really deserve "ZERO" stars. read more
