Vera was fantastic to work with. I had my father's funeral luncheon held here, as well as a family reunion the year before the funeral. Chicken was moist & delicious. Salad was a nice blend of greens and available dressings. Side salads of pesto pasta salad with cheese, coleslaw, potato salad, and more. the fruit tray was a really nice display, and was really fresh. The only "bad thing" I experienced both times were the not-so-great bread rolls. Beyond that, I'd suggest coming here for weddings, anniversaries and any other party you can think of hosting. read more

The food was great. I had my mom's memorial here on short notice. The service was great. There was a loud bridal shower in the next room and my server asked if we were bothered by it. (We weren't) I take one star off for the parking. It was our only problem. If you have disabled people in your party, have someone ready to valet for them because you may have to park up the street. I don't know if valet service was an option, but I wasn't ready for my aunt to call me and tell me they couldn't find parking and couldn't walk from up the street. I have this old lady hobby of sweepstaking...Hush. Don't judge me. And every April there is a sweepstakes meet here. I've been there for the last four years and LOVED the food. The food is delicious. I was just here this past Saturday midday for a wedding reception, and was pleasantly surprised. I guess I didn't know what to expect. Growing up in the eastside in south Warren, I have a bit of a bias against the big W. In my mind, this place would look like a VFW hall, serve crap food, and be staffed by high school dropouts. In reality, it was simple, casual-elegant, and well staffed. The bartender remembered what I was drinking even when I was a little too tipsy to remember myself. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the presentation was lovely. The dance floor in the room we were in was small, but more than adequate for a medium size party. Additionally, the small patio areas between and adjacent to rooms were lovely, full of flowers and vegetation. The Gazebo was the venue for my wedding shower as well as my sisters. They have a variety of different rooms and can host gatherings as small as 30 or as big as 275. The facility is clean and well-maintained - and there is a little outdoor courtyard that would be great for photos. Here is my overall impression - The Gazebo is a nice-enough place, reasonably priced with impeccable service. The food is pretty good for banquet food - and they serve plenty of it as well. Everyone on staff is very professional and helpful - not only to the host footing the bill, but to all of the guests as well. While I have only been to the Gazebo for showers and memorial lunches, I would not count it out as a possible wedding venue. I was goofing around on their website and they have one of the most fairly priced wedding packages I've seen in the area. The MOST expensive wedding package is a Saturday premium plan at $38 a head - which includes an hors d'oeuvres hour, a 3 entree dinner buffet, premium bar, chair covers, a chocolate fountain, etc. In the wedding world - that kind of price at a place that I know delivers great service sounds CRAZY! read more

We had our daughter's wedding reception here for 190 people. The Gazebo staff was excellent, from the first time we visited till the end of the reception. Sue, Brian, Kristen, and Michael were patient and helpful with our planning, especially helping us create a custom coffee bar which our guests loved! CJ worked tirelessly the entire evening as the room manager to make sure every detail was covered. Hi managed our beverage station with a constant smile and outstanding customer service. We came here because we knew we would have great food for our guests and they certainly exceeded our expectations. Their Gold Package, with their experienced team, created more than good food service-- it was an experience that gave everyone a great time and good memories! We had heard from all the older ladies in the neighborhood that Gazebo was the best place to go for weddings/funerals/etc and gave it a try for a funeral reception this past weekend. The food was excellent. All of the vegetables were fresh and well cooked. Potatos and carrots were delicious. They had 4-5 different pasta salads/couscous salads that were super good too. The salad was green and fresh, and was great in that they gave you quite a few toppings including beets, olives, and yellow peppers. Breaded chicken and fish were crispy and tasty. It seems like they really put that extra effort into food preparation - and it shows! The building itself is very nicely decorated. There are several different rooms to choose from in varying sizes. Bathrooms were clean and updated. Staff were great - our waitress (I believe Hai??) was excellent. She was so attentive and respectful. She would ask us at each step if we wanted to have someone speak before dinner started, and how we would like to have people come up. She also would ask each person if they were finished before she took their plate. I did not pay for the lunch, but I heard it was also very reasonably priced. This seems to be a very happening place for a Sunday, looks like every banquet room is having a celebration on today at this time of the evening. What's surprising is, today is Sunday. I just had my wedding here and I would not recommend it to anyone I know. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the waitstaff was so nice and helpful! I had booked a room with 150 max and my mother and I ended up reviewing the list 5 months before and thought, we might need a bigger room so they upgraded us to a room that had a minimum of 150 guests. Our guest count had dropped due to a family loss. On my dad side of the family it is wrong to go celebrate when there has been a death in the family. I called and told them my dilemma and that I wanted to switch to the smaller room that I had originally booked. I never got a call back. I called again a month later. Still no call back. Long story short they ended up making me pay for 140 guests and I only had about 100 attend. They still made me pay gratuity and the premium package on empty seats. I understand that we owed them for how many people the contract said but the manager would not work with us to use that extra couple of grand to put towards something else. So I told him he better make food for 140 people because that's what we paid for. He said of course and I can send a bunch of food home with you. I didn't get a chance to eat so I asked to get food to go and dessert. Well at the end of the night I got no food to go. The manager who I still never saw or met said "he threw it away" to my motNot even a meal for my husband and I who were to busy to eat! Poor management and super rude. Not very accommodating at all. I attended a retirement luncheon at The Gazebo yesterday and it was pleasantly surprised that the food was excellent. Let me explain that this type of venue is often typical buffet food and as a self professed foodie that equals ho hum fare in most cases but the kitchen staff clearly takes pride in what they do and the food was varied and flavorful. Everything was well seasoned, flavorful and tasty as well as HOT when it should be! The service staff did an excellent job, were non obtrusive and attentive at the same time and overall it was a lovely experience. If you are looking for a mid to low-end venue for a funeral luncheon, this place is adequate and probably costs less than others in the area. If you are having a gathering or party with a lot of elderly people, say 70 years and older, this place is also quite adequate for your needs. The food is decent, but sort of old-fashioned and outdated. The building is older, and it shows. The linens are washed but might have lipstick stains on them. I guess they can't get them out in the wash? If you want a nicer more modern venue, or something appealing to a younger crowd, this is NOT the place for you. I would not recommend it for a wedding unless you really need to squeeze your budget and don't care about the nicer details or good customer service. One thing that surprised me, is that they DO NOT accept credit card payment. They only accept CASHIERS CHECKS or CASH. So be prepared for that! It was NOT easy to have to make a special trip to the bank and hand deliver the check right before the party! I guess The Gazebo has been around for 40 years, or so. They like to brag about that. But it seems they haven't updated their payment system since they opened. They are very inflexible on this rule, and I got the impression that management really doesn't give a hoot if you are inconvenienced or even happy with their service. On a positive note, the wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Basically, everything runs alright. It's just not a high-end place. read more

A big group went here for dinner after a sad funeral, I just wanna say the 2 ladies that were working 2/27/20 were so nice I forgot to get their names but they were really just caring and kind.. While I was sitting there alone, not in the happiest mood (just attended a funeral) after everyone was leaving they came up and checked up on me and I never met them a day in my life. I had my wedding here a few weeks back and had a great experience! My price included a 3 entree buffet. The food was excellent! We had the chicken supreme, braised beef, and baked tilapia. People are still talking to me about the food. It also included the bar, chair covers, a champaign toast, chocolate covered strawberries. They even had an ice sculpture there which was a nice surprise! My only two complaints are 1.) The room in oblong which means the head table seemed very far from those in the back 2.) We had 180 people, so 18 tables. This fit perfectly in the room. However, they claim they can fit 23 tables in that same room. This would be a very tight, most likely uncomfortable fit. We have come here for several years and started out very good. Each year slipped a little but this year was a total flop. All of the food was cold! Sitting in there eating Made our waiter aware of this and his response was " we stirred it up now it should be hot" . Everybody had already eaten by this time. When nobody had cleared the dishes we went to the manager and found our waiter sitting in there eating. We will not be back to this hall and it is a shame because it used to be very good. read more

We have hosted several parties at The Gazebo. There is one reason why I chose to have my Wedding Shower, Baby Shower and then my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary at The Gazebo ....... The FOOD!!!! Absolutely, hands down, without a doubt, the best food that you will find at a banquet hall. When you have 100 guests and more than 2/3rd of them make comments about the amazing food, you know you've chosen the right place for your event. Suggestion: choose the braised beef, chicken supreme, spinach lasagne..... You will not be sorry. The hall needs to pay a little more attention to detail, especially when it comes to linens. Table lines are white and they covered up old stains by placing laid out napkins to hide the stains. Other than that, no other complaints and we will continue to have events here! read more

We had our daughter's wedding reception here on 11/11/2017 for 240 people. From the planning stages to the end of the reception, we cannot say enough about how helpful, professional and friendly all of the staff are.....and the food!! Amazing.......we are still getting comments on the quality (and quantity) of the food. We selected 3 entrees (beef, chicken and seafood) and a "vegetable lasagna" for our "pasta" dish and that was in and of itself a 4th entrée. In between the sections of entrees, they also set out other pasta dishes, rice, a fluffy oreo cream/mousse bowl, etc. which wasn't even on the original menu plan. The ice sculpture pictured was inclusive. The bar service was outstanding; providing anything desired right up to providing a pitcher of Red Bull on request that they had to go to another room to obtain! The place settings and décor was beautiful and with 240 people there was still room for the DJ, photo booth and plenty of room for guests to mingle and , of course, dance the night away! Kudos to the Gazebo and I don't know how they manage to keep their per plate pricing down; $20 to $30 per plate LESS than the competition!! read more

If there was less than 1 star, I would've chose that. I had my bridal shower at the gazebo and everything SEEMED to be smooth up to the day of. Well, things quickly went downhill the day of the shower. We did not get the correct drinks, they were not refilled because we were told the food would be served in "5 minutes" which ended up being a half hour, several of the staff members were also seen taking plates of food and eating it in front of my guests, AND EVEN TOOK MY CAKE!!!!!! The tablecloths were dirty with grease stains and holes the size of a nickel, and some of the napkins had lipstick stains on them from prior use. The air conditioning was turned on and my guests were so uncomfortable but no staff member was to be seen so my mom had to go down the hallway to tell for someone. When we returned the following day to pay we walked into the office and the 2 staff members sat there on their phones looking at Facebook and never greeted us. We stood there for 4 minutes before I had to say "excuse me". The best part is they could absolutely care less about the disaster that happened and pretty much accused us of not saying anything. How could anything be fixed when we only had an hour to setup and when the tables were set and guests were coming in?!!!! They never offered anything at all to make the situation right. The customer service is by far the worst I have EVER dealt with, and we're extremely disrespectful. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT ALL THE ADDED STRESS TO DEAL WITH!!!!! They will make it seem easy until it's over and you're screwed with having to pay for everything. read more
