Really wanted to love this place but was quite bummed. All 3 nail techs were very friendly and did a great job on nails. However, both my pedi and full set were very rushed. Normally a pedi you get a foot/leg massage, I got 1 min massage only on each foot. I was extremely bummed!!! Also normally you get a small hand massage too with a manicure/full set but again nothing. If looking for fast service this is a great place. If looking to relax- not recommended. read more

Not sure if my nail tech was just having a bad day but I asked for a full set of acrylic and my nails were very rushed. He was filling my nails extremely hard and had filled my skin off!!! I was in so much pain but too scared to say anything. The nail drill had also hit my skin multiple times and burned very badly. I love Elegant Nails. It's a family business with 3 technicians. I love walking in there and everyone knows your name. If you're a regular you can ask for your own box set of nail files and buffers...etc. I get the pink and white done by Ken and I have gotten countless compliments. They use a different shade of pink from most of the other nail places and they just very natural and pretty. It can get busy so if you're on a time crunch it is best to make an appointment. There's a huge flat screen TV, comfortable massage chairs for pedicures, and the bathroom is always clean. I would avoid it during weekday lunch time because of the new Italian restaurant that opened up right next door - it makes parking difficult to find in an already small parking lot. I would also highly recommend making an appointment ahead of time since they are typically pretty busy during lunch hours. read more

A couple notes before I start talking about my experience: This place mainly does Gel. Their Gel selection of color is about three times that of regular color. And while you are getting your nails done, they will push very hard for you to try Gel. That being said, they do not have many regular polish colors. I often feel limited when choosing my colors and always end up settling for something I don't love. I decided to try this place on my lunch break a few months ago. I wanted to get a manicure somewhere near work. The first time I went I made an appointment and they took me as soon as I arrived. Ken did my manicure and it was beautiful. He shaped them very evenly and painted them nicely. The second time I went, the woman (I think her name in Lynn) did my nails. I again made an appointment, however the place was jammed and I had to wait a bit. When I told her I needed to get back to work before a certain time, she rushed through my manicure (Because I had to wait about 20 minutes). It was an okay looking manicure, but the filing was uneven and the polish was slightly streaky. I accidentally smudged one and she seemed very put out to have to fix the nail. Today I went here to get a mani/pedi on my lunch. They took me again right away. The pedicure was very good and I am happy with it. The manicure, again I did not have Ken. She did an okay job again, but the polish is uneven and not thick enough. The mani/pedi cost me $40 including tip for both women. With all of the above in mind, this is still the best nail salon I have gone to in this area. Moral of the story, if you go for a manicure or your fingernails, make sure you ask for Ken! read more

They have the nail polishes so organized and they have the gel matched up with the regular polish color so if you get a gel manicure you can get the regular pedicure to match. I took a different route home and wasn't near my normal nail salon, so I decided to stop here on a Friday evening. I walked in and saw that it was pretty busy, so I asked how long the wait would be, and was told "15 minutes". So I sat down and looked at the gel colors. I waited, and waited, and waited...... until 40 minutes after I had arrived, someone took me!!!! This is beyond frustrating to me!! Don't LIE to get someone to stay, that is only going to piss me off more! I would rather them tell me the truth, and then I could make the decision on my own if it was feasible for me to stay. Other than that, the man who did my nails was nice and told me to make an appointment when I want to come back. ....I just don't know if I will be back after that frustrating fiasco! read more

I absolutely love this place! I have been going here for years, and every time I walk in they treat me like they have known me on a personal level. They ask how I have been, and really have gotten to know me. Besides the service, the acrylic they use lasts longer than any other salon I have been too. They are great with touch ups, and do a fabulous job. The only down fall is that they have a hard time replicating designs fro pictures, but that is no biggie!
