When you first walk in, the salon does feel somewhat factory‑like with many stations, but the staff was surprisingly attentive. I came in for an acrylic fill, and they took the time to explain a different technique they use. It's still acrylic, just not the traditional powder method, and I appreciated how thoughtful they were about my cuticles and the length, since they had grown out quite a bit. They also made sure the shape worked well with the condition my nails were in. The entire experience was very pleasant, right down to the hot hand towels. There was apparently a huge language barrier, and the woman doing my nails was not understanding what i was saying. I told her I wanted to keep them stiletto shaped, just a bit shorter. She cut them down a little, and it seemed like it was going to be fine. And somehow I ended up with all the gel off and my natural nails are incredibly short, flimsy and splitting. I have to start all over now... I started crying in the chair once I realized because I was shocked. I said "too short" and she just kept saying something like "yes, long beautiful"... like what????
