We recently got married in Vegas at the Neon Museum and we had the privilege of Frankie Castro being our minister & officiant through Elegant Vegas Weddings - he was absolutely amazing and we wouldn't have wanted anyone else to marry us! Frankie is an absolute professional and makes his weddings a performance! We wanted to make our wedding as fun as possible and he absolutely delivered. He spent almost an hour of his time meeting with us over the phone before our wedding to get to know us and he absorbed everything like a sponge! During our ceremony, we were both shocked on how much detailed personal info he was able to incorporate! Despite it being a surprisingly hot February day, he was full of charisma and really moved to bring the energy to our ceremony! He embodied everything Elvis and throughout the whole ceremony, we both had the biggest smiles on our faces. The ceremony flowed really well - he's definitely done it a number of times to perfect his craft! He ended up singing four songs for us and they were all great (he picks his song by feeling the moment!). On top of being charming, entertaining, funny, and full of energy, our moms could not stop raving about all the great advice he shared for us about married life during the ceremony. Honestly, he would do a fantastic ceremony just as himself, not just as Elvis, that's how great his marriage advice was. Even though he made our wedding incredibly fun, he made sure to take those moments to discuss important things like how to build a successful marriage with sincerity and heart. He even went above and beyond to wear the classic white jumpsuit for our ceremony, despite having gold lame ceremonies before and after ours. Our wedding was postponed 3 times due to the pandemic and Pastor Pete stayed with us until our latest wedding date in a new venue. He was easy to work with through emails, and has a lot of experience with many different Vegas venues and wedding coordinators. We had 3 years to follow many different vendors and watch other Las Vegas wedding videos, Pastor Pete is very popular, highly sought out officiant--- and for a good reason! He has a great presence when you meet him, and he made sure we had time to meet before our ceremony to review details. He made our wedding ceremony very personalized, including our veil/cord unity. He added a good amount of marriage wisdom in a clever way, and humor to keep things light hearted for our wedding guests. One plus that I just noticed in our wedding videos/photos, without any previous instruction, Pastor Pete had moved himself out of the area once we had our first kiss! I know that is important to many brides for pictorial aesthetics, but he is so experienced that you don't even realize small detail differences until looking back at photos. We got an unlucky draw when it came to officiants for our 50 guest destination wedding in Vegas. I am echoing what I wrote in my review of the Neon Museum and focusing just on this vendor. You're required to go through this vendor to hire an officiant for your wedding. We communicated through email only and nailing down details was like herding cats. I kept getting replies to my emails that didn't really answer my questions and said something to the effect of, "All is good. We have a friend with your name." This left us very unsettled. I wrote a script for our ceremony in the week prior to the wedding. I kept it extremely simple and straightforward with simple directions in parentheses. All the officiant would have to do is is print the script and read it. When I sent the script and contacted the company to see that they received it, the said all was good (again). On the wedding day we were surprised that the minister who appeared was a woman and not the man we had been emailing with for four months. She did have a copy of he script and said she was ready to go. When the ceremony actually started we could tell quickly that she hadn't even looked at what I had written and that she had trouble reading it without stumbling over words and pausing mid sentence. She read directions that were put into parentheses (like "Father flips Bride's veil."). As the bride I had to turn to her in the middle of the ceremony and tell her she didn't have to read aloud those parts. All of this could have been prevented with a quick phone conversation or email with questions in advance of the big day. Even a suggestion as to a better way to do the ceremony would have be welcomed. None of that happened and we felt we had to come up with own solution so we weren't going in to the wedding ceremony completely blind. I know that this company charges a pretty minimal fee for weddings at The Neon Museum because they do lots of weddings there. This ended up being the one snag to our wedding day and it would have been nice to have had a choice of vendors for that very important role at our wedding ceremony. read more

We were married at the Neon Museum in Las Vegas in December. The location was wonderful, but unfortunately our experience with Elegant Vegas Weddings came up short. Prior to the ceremony, emails weren't acknowledged (unless I chased them up) which didn't fill me with confidence. Then, on the day of the ceremony, our reverend showed up late and flustered, and was 'swotting up' on the (very detailed) form sent to Elegant Vegas Weddings around 1 month previous. During the ceremony the reverend got our daughter's name wrong (despite us correcting her before the ceremony started), and she was clearly 'thinking on her feet' throughout the whole thing. The service was meant to be very personalised, but it ended up feeling generic. Even friends and family who watched via live stream back home in the UK commented on how the reverend seemed unprepared and unprofessional. I have since followed up with Pastor Pete who has been very apologetic and helpful, but unfortunately we can't turn the time back and have our wedding ceremony again. My husband and I have just had to laugh about it instead. It's a shame that the wonderful Neon Museum insist on using Elegant Vegas Weddings exclusively, as it seems to be pot luck with the reverend you get. It seems that weddings officiated by Pastor Pete are wonderful, and I don't doubt that most Elegant Vegas Weddings Ceremony are memorable for all the right reasons, but unfortunately we got a bit unlucky with our reverend. read more

We filled out a questionnaire well in advance and on the day of, Pastor Pete arrived early and confirmed the general style of the ceremony with us - in our case, completely secular and meaningful but not too sappy. He was very professional and personable and did a nice job directing us discretely. Pastor Pete delivered a beautiful ceremony, but was also funny at all the right moments which was great for photos and keeping our guests entertained. I couldn't be happier with Elegant Vegas Weddings! We had our ceremony performed by Elvis (aka Roland) and he was amazing. Our ceremony was at the Neon Museum, and man he looked cool with his shiny suit and all those colorful neon signs behind him! Elvis was so kind and friendly with us and really fun. Initially we had sent him some info about us and our history, but we hung out before the wedding and told him a little more about ourselves, which was great because he made our ceremony personal and told some funny stories. He also sang a couple of songs which was SO FUN and got all our guests dancing! He managed to do all of this and still keep it short, which is exactly what we wanted. Also, our guests had arrived pretty late, and Elvis had another event later. He never seemed anxious or upset he just played it cool and communicated with us about it. I was really impressed at how professional he was about the whole thing. I didn't feel like he rushed through the ceremony or anything, he just kept it short and sweet, which was perfect! Even after our wedding I've had guests tell me how fun Elvis was and how friendly he was with everybody. He even took pictures with some of our guests which was so cool of him! Pastor Pete/Elegant Vegas Weddings were included in the package I purchased through TPC Summerlin, and HE WAS PERFECT!!!! I spoke with him on the phone a couple of times to get a feel for whether or not he would be a good fit with our wedding party and filled out a questionnaire for him to get an idea of what we'd like. I really like the fact that he could have done anything from incredibly strictly religious to dressing like Elvis! We went with a simple, yet slightly humorous ceremony, and he was able to make everyone laugh while still making the moment so special. We also had an issue with a difficult family situation, and he was able to seamlessly deal with it professionally and without judgement.
