    Ring

I never thought I'd be posting something like this... My engagement ring from 1890 went missing during our stay at Element Salt Lake City Downtown. I reported it immediately. I called multiple times. I asked for a manager again and again. No one called me back. Had someone taken action the first time I called, the room, vacuums, and trash could have been searched before another guest checked in. That didn't happen. Police report filed Calls documented Corporate contacted Still no response. This ring is irreplaceable -- and the lack of urgency and empathy has been devastating. We travel often and have always trusted Marriott... but this experience has completely shaken that. I'm sharing this because I just want someone to take this seriously and do the right thing.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel! The hotel is clean. The common areas had a lot of outlets that made working remotely very convenient. The rooms were very comfortable and quiet. They included a full fridge, microwave, sink, and dishware, making my stay extremely convenient. They have a complimentary breakfast, including fresh omelets made to order. The hotel served cheese, bread, and drinks in the afternoon, and lastly, the hotel served 3 kinds of hot herbal teas in the evening. The fitness area is well equipped with Life Fitness machines, free weights, kettlebells, bands, and mats for yoga or stretching. Fabulous rooftop pool/bar/fitness center with 360-degree views of the Wasatch front and downtown SLC and multiple solid dining options on-premise or within a block of the lobby. Laundry is available on site, and they provide detergent as well as dryer sheets and can provide quarters for cash exchange. Parking is available and accessible, and the security is excellent for parking within the building. Although a little pricier than elsewhere. The location is convenient for downtown, the convention center, and the basketball stadium. It is an easy light rail train ride from the airport with a short walk to the hotel from the stop. I would stay here again when in Salt Lake City.

Stayed at the Element Westin for 3 nights and had a pleasant experience. It's a newer hotel with a modern trendy decor. The front desk employees were super friendly and check in was easy. My phone was not working inside my room when I tried to call the front desk. The gym was new clean and has great equipment including free weights. It also has an amazing view . There was a beautiful pool. Unfortunately due to the weather I was unable to use it. The mornings have complimentary breakfast that start as early as 6:30AM. They have an automatic latte/espresso machine as well as a yogurt bar with fresh fruit and hot food. Depending on what day you're here, they had an omelette bar where you can place. They have a complimentary beer and wine happy hour. This was a daily parking fee. There is a small restaurant that is shared with the neighborinf hotel in the lobby. Each room has a mini kitchenette that has a microwave, a fridge, a sink and filter water to drink. The bed was super soft and comfy. Overall, it was a great experience. Would recommend

Another wonderful stay at an Element hotel. My second one and it was awesome from check in to check out. The rooms are really nice and spacious. The beds super comfy with really nice down comforters. Had two great nights sleep here. Bathrooms are big and clean. We had a suite, which had a nice little couch living area and a kitchenette which had all the all the necessities. Nice closet, tvs, and all round just a great room. Unfortunately I forgot to take pics of the room. The full breakfast comes with the room complementary. It's a awesome array of food with freshly made to order omelettes, and one day we had crepes too. Great yogurt bar, sweet pastries, cereals, oatmeal, roasted potatoes, they also had a nice cappuccino maker. Again very clean and well kept. Situated right in downtown, you can walk to the light rail, delta center, and many other places. Close to many restaurants too. They have their own French place called Adelaide. Also a rooftop bar Van Ryder. They also a few days a week offer wine and cheese evenings complementary. I can't say enough good things about this place, it's also fairly new, with great decor. The front desk were also really nice and friendly. Highly recommend thus place if in Salt lake city!

I didn't stay at the hotel but was here for a 2 day conference for work. Element is brand spanking new and such a gorgeous hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful with accommodating our huge group. The conference rooms are very spacious and the food provided was wonderful. I actually didn't like the tiramisu much since I'm a tiramisu lover and wanted more coffee and lady fingers.

Brand new hotel downtown Salt Lake City, part of the same building and Marriott family as Le Meridien. This one focused on long term stays - think a more modern, slightly higher end Residence Inn. Just opened February 2023 and is in perfect shape! Friendly staff, outstanding fitness genter / GTM, heated rooftop pool, lots of lounge space, and more! Definitely worth a stay!

I had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is new and felt just as such-- everything in quality condition. I had a king suite and it came with an awesome city view. The suite felt clean and nothing was out of place. The area that the hotel is in is well lit and felt safe. Breakfast was yummy. All staff I interacted with were friendly and accommodating. No critical feedback to share. I'd highly recommend!

There were supposed to be two, there's only one, and it doesn't even open

I just finished checking into the hotel. We were lied to about the size of the room and the number of beds. We went down to speak to the front desk person and asked to speak to the hotel manager. The pullout bed doesn't even work. The front desk lady went behind the door and spoke to the hotel manager, I could hear her and the manager speaking. She came back out to come inform me that the manager was not available. This hotel is poorly run, they misrepresent their rooms, and is staffed by liars. I would not recommend anyone to stay and this hotel and would recommend a major overhaul to the management staff. Edit: the management girl was left at the front desk without her manager, she was so nice, but she was basically ditched there by her staff. I wish her all the best, we ended up checking out of the hotel and moving to a different hotel

As opposed to the Hilton I stayed at last time I was on a high floor with a view of the city. The bathroom appeared fairly new and the shower with dual heads was great. Nice water pressure. The only negatives are the expensive water in the room and the tiny little table I had to use as a work desk.

We stayed in room 1695, which is an Executive Suite with an entry foyer, living room, bedroom, large closet/storage space, expansive bath with nice tub and separate shower. There was also a second sink area outside of the bathroom, which made it very easy for our family of 4 to get ready. The finishes and details of the entire room were exquisite and very nicely thought out. It felt luxurious! I visited the spa one afternoon for a pedicure with Madison. It was an incredible experience! After my appointment, I took a shower in the 17-head shower room and it was SUBLIME. The mandarin shampoo and conditioner in the shower felt silky and smelled amazing - my hair felt so nice that I came back the next day to purchase the shampoo to take home. My kids loved the pools - it felt fun to them that there were two. I thought the indoor pool was nicer and had a really spa-like ambiance with beautiful glass chandeliers and luxurious loungers. The outdoor pool area just didn't seem as special as I was expecting for a hotel like this, but was still great. I appreciated that they had a 1' toddler pool tucked off to the side. Very nice showers - individual shower stalls with shampoo and body wash. The pool menu for food and bar was perfect! Ordered a delish salad and a fun summer cocktail. Poolside service from Ethan was surly and inattentive, but the food was something I would order again which made up for it. A highlight that we'll always remember from our stay is breakfast at Laurel. We started 3 of our 4 mornings here and it was an absolute treat. Servers Rob and Tatiana were stars. All 4 of us agreed that the food was phenomenal and I appreciated that they offer veggie breakfast meat options. Every detail in the service was elevated and just a great experience. (We walked across the street to The Coffee Shop at Little America for breakfast the 4th morning and it was also a wonderful experience! Coffee Shop is a misnomer, as it is a comfortable sit down restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.) Jou Jou, the toy and candy shop off the lobby is CHARMING! It's a destination for anyone, not just hotel guests. We spent a lot of time (and money) poking around here. Really nice brands, unique toys, fun puzzles and games, amazing dress up things, tons of Jellycat! Everyone we encountered working there was friendly and engaging. My kids also loved watching the marble track in the window outside the store. The only aspects of our room that I didn't think were up to The Grand America snuff were the beds and bedding. I didn't find them to be super comfortable, the pillows were very thin and I thought the duvets seemed to be for a bed a size smaller. Despite this, I still give the overall stay 5 stars. Every other aspect made up for it!

We were impressed with the room size and the bathroom set up that allowed two of us to get ready at the same time without having to share a space. During our stay we visited the pools (indoor and outdoor) and were lucky enough to get a seat outdoors. We were told it can take up to 2 hours to get seats. Luck was on our side. While out there we ordered virgin daiquiris and some fries (our usual snack of choice on vacay). The indoor pool was virtually empty and very relaxing as the outdoor pool had every seat taken on a hot summer day. After the pool we grabbed some ice cream at the hotel shop and later that evening returned for dessert at the restaurant. All of the desserts we had that day were just so tasty and would recommend the bread pudding and creme brulee.
