I went and got a massage today groupon has one for $42 at elements massage at LaCenterra. I was a little scared after I read the reviews on yelp they were a good mix. I've had some bad massage before and I had some good ones. The only thing I would say that I didn't like is 1)you don't go to a little waiting room that is a relax feeling, you sit up front where people walk in and leave 2) after sitting there in the front for 5 min a girl ask if I needed anything water, bathroom, wifi password. 3) the room was freezing!! And the massage therapist turn the bed blanket on before she exit. Most places turn them on before you enter so it is already warm. The lady who did my massage and I cannot remember her name Stephanie or Jennifer not sure. She was really good! Before we got started she ask me where I would like it most what is bothering me. She work out as many knots as she can within the hour plus a full body massage. She also clear my stuffy nose! We did start 6 min late but once I got dressed it was 911 (my appointment was at 8) If I go back there I will ask for her again. Rather disappointed in Elements massage. My boyfriend and I came here for a 90 minute couples massage. For starters the therapists were 8 minutes late getting us, which we were told we would still get the whole time and not to worry, then once in our room and got undressed we realized the rooms were freezing. My therapist was Cody, He asked once how the pressure was and I told him that he could go deeper, which it did not seem like he did. I am assuming that he did not read the paper that we were told to fill out, because he did not massage my feet, scalp, glutes, or even my lower back. My boyfriend had Amy (I think that was her name) and she did an amazing job. Pressure was on point, she was extremely friendly,made sure that he was relaxed and that she was getting all the problem areas. Our massage ended before the 90 minutes, not even including the extra time we should have gotten for them being late. I can honestly say that I will not be going back and will stick with massage heights. read more

The facility was clean and the employees were very friendly and accommodating. I got a 90 min massage, but only had 1 issue with it.... while Frank did a superb job!!! The actual massage was only about an hour and 5 mins(roughly) . He talked to me for about 10 mins or so before the message and it ended about 10 mins early... I would have liked to have had the full 90 mins... I didn't say anything when I left because I got such a good deal on the message... but I do feel a 90 min message should last the full 90 mins... also I shouldn't be advised to tip... that was not a very good impression on someone's first visit. I tip when I feel the service was what I think it should be... although I did tip Frank... lol... because I felt 500% better when I left... I'll definitely make sure I get the full 90 mins on my next visit... hopefully they will be just as accommodating on this issue. But I do recommend this place and they would have gotten 5 stars if I rated it on strictly the message... but gave them a 4 for the overall experience. read more

I just had my first massage at Elements and it was superb! With the check-in process, the friendly staff, and Jessica, (the wonderful masseuse who really did a great job) I left feeling very pampered and rejuvenated. Compared to other places, Elements really personalized my massage asking likes/dislikes, preferences, and other specific questions. The aromatic rooms, squeaky clean facility, relaxing music, cold water bottle and a delicious chocolate at the end were all excellent touches as well. I'm what I refer to myself as "a massage freak". I love to have my shoulders and back rubbed!!! However, when I have a specific issue and pay good $$ to have it addressed and leave 55 minutes later and $60-$100 less without any relief I'm not satisfied!!! Over the last few years I have been using the guys in the malls to get relief from what ails me. Today I woke up with a terrible pain in my hip and knew that a massage chair in the middle of the mall wasn't going to help. I turned to Yelp for help!!! I'm so glad I did!!! Called at 1:00 and they could see me at 3:00. Arrived a few minutes early and was greeted by very nice and professional front desk help. Filled out the questionnaire and was taken back on time. Rebecca asked me what areas needed work and I told here hip and to my great surprise when she came in she went straight to the hip and went to work. She explained to me why I was having this pain and worked diligently to help fix it. She was FANTASTIC!!! She hit all the areas that where contributing to my pain and more!! This was hands down the most satisfying massage I have had!!! At checkout I was given the info on joining the club. I didn't feel pressured into anything. A plus to membership is your spouse can get a massage at the discounted rate or use yours for the month without any charge!!!!! Looking forward to my next appt!!!!! read more

Once a month I have terrible back pains so I decided to book an introductory massage to see how it went with hopes to purchase a membership to ease my monthly discomfort. After my terrible experience here I definitely did not purchase a membership when I was finished. My appointment was at5:00 and I was caught in traffic on my way there so I called and asked if I needed to reschedule or if I could still come in. The receptionist was very nice and said I could still come in but that my therapist had an appointment after mine so u would be cut a little short on my massage time. I thought I would be about 8 minutes late so I asked if I would just have those 8 minutes cut off my time and she said yes. I walked in the door at 5:05 and at 5:10 the therapist started working on my back. The massage definitely didn't feel like the most relaxing massage I have ever had but my back feels better so I guess it worked. When the therapist told me she was finished the first thought that went through my head was "wow, that was quick" after she left I looked at my clock at it was only 5:46... When i realized she was only massaging me for 36 minutes my thought was "oh, I guess this was only a 30 minute massage". When I walked into the reception area I asked if it was supposed to be an hour massage and she said yes. I told her it was only 5:50 and I'm already out here paying. She explained that it was actually 55 minutes of hand time, not a full hour. I said okay, but still it's only 5:50.. I understand I was late but wouldn't my massage time end at 6:00 normally? She said yes and called her manager up to the front. Her manager was extremely rude and explained that it wasn't 55 minutes for hand time it was actually just 50 and on their busy days it can be less because they have to get the room ready for the next client. This 50 minute statement goes against everything on their website that they advertise for an introductory massage. Needless to say this was a terrible experience and I will not be back. No one wants to be charged for a 55 minute massage and only get 36 or what would have been 41 minutes if I would have arrived on time. Clearly this business knows nothing about customer service which is sad considering what they sell is a service! read more

Went in Wednesday for a 90 minute massage. I originally wanted a 90 minute deep tissue with hot stones, but Emma informed me none of the therapists available for the time I wanted could do them. Got put on hold 3 times and she almost hung up on me before I could give my cc to hold the appointment. When I came in and was waiting for my therapist, Emma had a therapist named Josh on speakerphone with an issue involving his stuff being in a room where he couldn't get in because another therapist was occupying it. Patricia got me 5 minutes late, which wasn't a big deal. She was nice and did a good massage. After finishing and getting dressed, she brings me back into the room to tell me she didn't give me my full 90 minutes because she thought it was only for an hour and offered to give me the rest of my time... with hot stones. Yeah, she did hot stones. Didn't find out until it was too late. The massage was comped and I let Emma know Patricia did, in fact, do hot stones, which she pretty much blamed the owner for not informing her of the fact. She ended up getting back on the speakerphone barking for someone to bring her Patricia, who confirmed her hot stones status. Who knows how much money that therapist has missed out on because of lack of communication. There's a time and a place to handle back room stuff, like hot stones and stuff locked in rooms. We clients do not need to know how disorganized or disconnected you are with your therapists. On the bright side, at least I know now, because I won't be coming back. read more

Karen was my message therapist and was AMAZING not only did she do a great job she really cared about I needed. after a very typical extremely stressful day to say she had her work cut out for her.....
