I've been going to various Massage Envy for the last 10 years, but today's massage at Footworks was better than most of my recent massages at Massage Envy. Yes, you'll have to get pass the curtains and the fact that rooms are separated by heavy curtains, but the therapists really know what they're doing and that's more important to me than ambiance. They are very clean for an Asian foot spa - I give that to them. When you come in, the receptionist whispers to keep volume low for customers in the back. I didn't know that as a first time customer, but I'll whisper back next time, haha. You can call ahead of time for discounted appointments. We paid $120 for a couples massage. They were able to book last minute. I am grateful for their accommodations. I opted for the deep tissue. My therapist communicated very well and frequently checked on me to see if the pressure was appropriate. She worked really hard to get rid of the knots in my back, shoulders, neck and traps. She worked on some knotted areas that I've never had worked on ever. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his massage as well and felt like he had a new back. I also liked the music and the scent of their oils. The scent surpasses the ones that are used at Massage Envy. I have frequented Footworks Boutique Spa for the last five years. My only complaint is the noise. They often leave the back door open to circulate fresh air (I'm assuming). Unfortunately there is a day care next door, so if the door is left open and the kids are outside playing you can hear them screaming and shouting during your massage. read more

I came here last month and got great experience with their service and skills (2 stars it is) However, I called today (sept 8th) at 2pm to ask if they're available for 2 full body. The vibe was not very welcoming since the phone call when the girl answering it with 2 words "FootWork", didn't bother to greet! And the most interesting part is when we arrived, she (the receptionist) asked me "for 1 person right?" I said no I called and asked for 2 people full body service. Wow, I've been looking for a solid place to go for a while after moving houses and then jobs. Footworks is clean, professional, hygenic and has a menu of options for you to pick from and mix and match. I really like to go in for reflexology/foot-rubs. All the staff have their licensure on the walls and are all licensed masseuses. I have been spoiled from a Salons In the Park duo, one a masseuse, Andre- who was just amazing- and then he would partner with a reflexologist Blondel- he also did raindrop therapy and something else. Blondel studied reflexology extensively so this was more of a great foot massage at footworks and not the pressure point- here this will clean out your sinuses. Now all that being said, there were several people with appointments, while I just walked in and filled out my info. I waited maybe 10 minutes for my masseuse. She was excellent. With the reflexology you also get a head, neck, shoulder and facial massage while your feet soak. I asked for "deep" pressure and I certainly got it. I am sitting back at work so relaxed it is unbelievable. and I love that I can come to work a half hour early, get there in 5 minutes, have an appointment for a 60 minute massage and back to work in 5 minutes. I'll go for a full body massage next time for 90 minutes and just book it after work! read more

Really wished the receptionist area was closed off from the massage rooms because it was really hard to hear the receptionist since she was whispering. Service was great. The therapist was very attentive while massaging me, she even noticed where my knots were. She didn't really crack alot of bones as I expected to but it's okay, the massage was great. Let me start off by saying I have NEVER had a problem with this spa! But with that being said today I go in there like I usually do twice a month. I usually can call to set an appointment but I was running a few errands around this area so I did not have time to call which I thought wasn't super important because it says walk ins are welcome right? On yelp, google, there website etc. Once I arrived the usual lady Monica was not at the front (super sweet lady) and I was greeted by some new lady. I walked in at 4:45 PM and she said no one was available until 5:15PM. Ok cool don't mind waiting since I didn't set a appointment. So while waiting I walked to the restroom in the back and literally almost all their seats were empty. I was confused it's barely anyone here so why would I need to wait 30mins (maybe severely understaff) to be serviced? But that didn't bother me either I actually did not have to wait the full 30 mins which was great but still odd I had to wait if barely any customers were there like seriously maybe 1 or 2 customers was there but again maybe they are short staff. So the massage came and went and it was time to pay for my service. What made me upset and why I decided to write this review is that they charge me more for walking in! If you say walk ins are welcome which they should be because it's usually slow Mon-Thurs no one was hardly there today why are you charging me more? Do you just want all your customers to come from appts only? Just say that, but it's very convenient as a customer if you are not far from this location to just walk in and not pay more to get the same service. Disgusted with the new lady at the front desk. This place is amazing. My daughter booked an appointment for me since I was visiting her in the Katy TX area. I went in thinking I would get the run of the mill type of massage and service. I was sooooo wrong. This is a whole vide and experience. The atmosphere was very relaxing. My masseuse was male but he applied just the right amount of pressure to provide the tension relief I needed. I live in the Dallas/Ft.Worth area and am now looking for a similar experience here. When you first walk in, they play serene soft river flowing water music. Very modern looking white decor. Waaaay better taken care of place compared to other less than $50 1 hr massage places. They have 2 licensed massage therapist & 2 foot reflexologist w/ their license displayed. The massage: awesome!! I had I assume the manager/boss and she was great. Not too rough or too soft with her hands. Great gentle strokes with varying degrees of pressure. My wife loved her massage. She forgot to ask what her massage therapist's name was though. We both loved how clean it is inside and how the therapists don't talk to each other like other places do. These therapists just focus on their massages & they are professional. It was quite noisy today for some reason. Today, especially there was this macho gorilla that had no spa etiquette! Ugh it wasn't as relaxing because he kept moaning, groaning and heavy breathing.
