I wanted to share some honest feedback about my 60-minute massage appointment yesterday, as the experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. I came in with a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders, along with lower back pain, and was really looking forward to some relief and relaxation. Instead, the session felt disorganized, unprofessional, and ultimately ineffective. The therapist spent the first 10 minutes engaging in small talk about my personal life, which I tried to politely steer away from so we could get started. She then brought the membership program, and although I wasn't interested, I casually asked the cost out of curiosity. At that point, she left the room to find out the price, told me to undress, and returned a few minutes later just to say it was $69/month. She then left the room again to get a heating pad for my back. I want to mention at this point that I have heating pads at home. I wanted a massage. By the time she finally began the massage, nearly 30 minutes had passed. I felt like she was intentionally stalling to give as little actual massage time as possible. Then she asked me what time the appointment started and it was really clear that it was intentional. When the massage finally started, she lightly rubbed my arms and legs with no real technique or focus. She cycled over those areas multiple times and barely addressed my shoulders, neck, or lower back the very reason I booked the session. She kept running her hand over the sheet like it was part of the massage. Even in the final few minutes, there was still no real pressure or method used. I left the appointment just as sore as when I arrived. I've been getting massages regularly for years, and this was by far the most ineffective experience I've ever had. It was exactly the opposite of what I wanted. It was not relaxing or tension relieving since I was so aggravated by the whole experience. This was a pre-bday present. The establishment is very clean and the staff very professional. Make sure if this is your first time, get there at least 10mins before your appointment to be able to sign their waiver and let them know what kind of massage you are wanting and what areas you want. The masseuse was very polite and professional, she explained what she was going to do and asked what I was comfortable with. For example if I was ok with her massaging my head, face , and feet. 2 Reason why I won't give it a five and I'm sorry it might just be me 1: lotion/ oil needs to smell nicer at least have a variety maybe peppermint, coconut, eucalyptus, something anything. 2: ever time I tried to relax all I could hear was the clicking from the clock that was in the room. This place constantly messes up appointments! We will call and schedule for a date and time and they always schedule for a different date and time. This happened to both my parents as well which is why we are cancelling our membership. Today I was supposed to have an apt at 12 and they instead have me down for tomorrow at 1 when I never would have scheduled that due to my work schedule. There are only a couple good masseuses there in the first place. I really like Blanca however the way this place is ran is absolute garbage. I hate that my father has shown up multiple times to appointments THEY cancelled with no notice or contact. I am visiting from out of town. Booked a 90 min massage in advance.. swedish style. Came in filled 4 pages of forms.. specifically indicated I wanted work on my neck and back.. Specifically asked for a young Male masseuse. What I got.. an elderly massause. Had a 90 min massage.. was never asked if the pressure was ok.. was never asked if music or lights ok.. The place was quiet.. Private rooms My next was worked on for 5 min out of the 90 min session.. my back was worked on 20 min of the 90 min session. While his technique was very not common to a swedish massage. Which is kneading and long strokes to the body. It was more like all over the place. At first it was systematic then it was not.. I was there on time. I got undressed in private room.. The place I gave it a 5 The massause a 4 The massage a 4 Note.. if a person comes in and tells the massause to concentrate on neck and back then do so.. this is not a FREE massage.. we are paying for the muscles to be relaxed.. so concentrate on what the client asks for. 100% waste of my money and time. I am still not relaxed.. neck hurts and back hurts.. this could have been taken care of in 90 min. Will not return.. and will not recommend. read more

I've been a member of Elements for a few years now and it holds the bar high for any other massage therapy businesses. The ambiance is excellent--dark, cool, heated tables, perfect spa music, super therapists, friendly staff, great prices. I've had a chance to go with many of the therapists: Eddie is super for a deep sports massage (my DH uses Eddie after running marathons), Selena is wow for an all around health massage, Mark is great, and Juan is the Go-To guy for different modalities (sacral/cranial, etc.). All the therapists are totally professional, kind, and helpful. I'm quite critical when it comes to massage--I have been to places over the many years that give a poor to average massage. I bought the groupon for a 1 hr therapeutic massage. I chose this groupon because I saw they offered a membership. The place was clean and all staff I encountered was extremely friendly. Mark was my massage therapist and he was phenomenal. Started with questions to decide what massage type would be best. I workout a lot and I'm very tight. He got to knots i didn't know i had. As I was waiting for my massage appointment, a massage therapist came out into the lobby/waiting area and proceeded to tell me very loudly (so everyone else waiting could hear her) that they could not give me a massage because I was 7 weeks pregnant and it was considered high risk. I was completely mortified that she shared my very personal information with a bunch of strangers like that. I understand and respect the policy that they will not perform massages on pregnant women; I have no issue with that. However, she should have taken me into another room or QUIETLY explained their policy instead of announcing to the entire place what my medical condition was. This is certainly a violation of my medical privacy rights as this is a licensed massage therapy establishment. read more

I would highly recommend them! I had never been before and told them I wanted to try a Trigger Point massage as my problem area was right between my shoulder blade and my spine. My initial massage provided by Mark was phenomenal I decided to return. I purchased two 90 minute massages through Groupon. According to the fine print an individual may use Groupon once. I was not aware of this until after my second massage. The receptionist Stephanie informed me that she would honor the Groupon as long as I had not received more than 2 massage sessions. When I informed her that it was my second visit Stephanie then changed her mind and stated she would not honor it. After a great massage from Mark again the entire experience turned sour.
