My experience having Elisa Raus shortly be my realtor was greatly negative and unprofessional. Upon…read moretouring few homes I had decided to submit an offer on a potential property. Throughout the process from beginning to end she was extremely unprofessional, worsening with each encounter. There were instances throughout when instead of speaking to me about properties available on the market she spoke to me about her current love life and financial burdens she has in her private life which made me feel very comfortable with her level of unprofessionalism crossing boundaries with a client. When I originally went to her office to sign official paperwork for the potential property at every 10-15 minutes or so she continued to exit the office to take her 5 year old daughter to the restroom. Over the course of being in her office for an hour she approximately took her daughter to the restroom 5 times which left her unable to communicate clear details about the contract. When an offer was submitted to the potential property I then proceeded to have a licensed inspector to inspect the property for internal damage. The report came back having intensive exterior and interior damage which made me then narrow down my options for the potential property. The realtor Elisa Raus proceeded to coerce me by telling me that the licensed inspector was lying to me about the damage and that the property was not damaged interiorly. Again crossing professional boundaries. Upon trying to have Elisa Raus negotiate for me the property damages with the pricing she continued to then advocate for the homeowner instead of me, her client, and lacked communication throughout including one day when I was trying to reach her she completely didn't answer whatsoever. She consistently pressured me into making a deal I was not comfortable with and insisted I had a deadline. Due to her unprofessionalism and lack of communication I decided to pull my original offer the morning of the day the contract ended. Elisa Raus then proceed to email me official documents 10 minutes before the contract ended at 4:50pm without reaching out to me leaving me in a legal dispute. When I reached out to her about questions on how we would proceed she only continued to coerce me into buying the property disregarding what I wanted. She not only didn't keep her word about official documents but she continued to insist I buy the property. The most recent and last time Elisa Raus called me after the fact, was late at night and she then yelled and me and was extremely disrespectful and vulgar when asked what was the process to have the title money reimbursed. Upon Elisa Raus speaking to me in such way I then spoke with her manager at Coldwell Banker who was very alarmed and embarrassed to have a realtor of such low class speak to me in such a way. Being a new buyer to the housing market the experience I had with Elisa Raus was extremely distasteful. Due to her unprofessionalism and lack of communication I am now in a legal dispute. A pleasant and rewarding experience of buying a home has now turned into a nightmare due to having Elisa Raus be my realtor. If you're in the Houston area I highly advise you to have anyone else be your realtor instead of Elisa Raus from Coldwell Banker. She had only caused stress for me throughout.
